I arrived at Srinagar Airport from Delhi to attend a traditional Kashmiri Wedding in Srinagar, during the Covid-19 pandemic. It was a small function because of which I got to experience the Wedding very closely.
Just as I arrived I reached the tent where the Wazwan Preparation was going on in full swing, later during the day I got to pack the gifts for the guests of Mainz Raat, some exotic dry fruits packed in golden boxes.
Later, lunch was served, this was just the teaser of the KASHMIRI WAZWAN, which comprised of just four dishes. Paneer Chaman or Tamatar Paneer, Haakh, Rogan Josh, and Kalegi.
It was one of the best food and the best experiences of my life.

My friend, love the work, but Jahangir did not say that, it is widely credited to Amir khusroo, though argued in many academic circles.
You have put across the question very accurately and in the most dignified manner, hence i'll try to answer this for you brother.
There is a lot of debate whether there lines actually belong to Khursaru as no Diwan or Masnawi of Amir Khusarau includes these couplets. The thing is, Amir Khusrau had never been to Kashmir and, historians are not sure for which city he dedicated these couplets to, most say it was Delhi and a few say it was Samarkand.
On the other hand, When the Mughal Emperor Jahangir, lay his eyes on Kashmir for the first time, he said these couplets for Kashmir and got it engraved on the terrace of Mughal Garden.
This is the reason, I dedicated it to Jahangir in the same context, because he said it for Kashmir.

Brought back my memories of Kashmir visit. Kashmiris are the most genuine, helpful and hospitable people I have ever met. They are very compassionate. And their dishes are simply out of the world....aromatic and nutritious both at the same time.

I was fortunate to have visited this Jannat on Earth in 1981. We had been with the entire family of 7. Stayed in Srinagar, Anantnag, Sopore for almost 45 days. We stayed in houses of our Kashmiri brothers. So loving, caring people were. I was in 10th standard then. Still can't forget those days. God bless them and peace returns there.

Actually there one more thing in our culture that we eat the wazwaan in a *trami*(big plate). Because of covid, the wazwaan is served in small plate . One persen one plate. Please add this in your next videos. By the way, the video is awesome.Love frm Kashmir
