Most people don't know or understand that older systems do have UFI and secure boot bios but are set up to boot with legacy support disable the legacy and enable secure boot your half way there. Thank you! This solved my problem. Had the ssd that had my os on it corrupt. Had to replace the ssd and had that MBR error pop up. Your tutorial fixed it and I am thankful. It's been a tough couple of days and I still have to rebuild my system, but at least now I'll have a bootable system.

I have similar problem but I want to install Windows on iMac that already has a partition with MacOS on it and also has another partition that I want to install Windows on it. Is it possible to change MBR to GPT only in a partition to avoid MacOS to be affected? If not, do you know of any solution for this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Wow, sorry about not sending you a tip. This was done at just the speed and explanation. You also titled it exactly how I googled it. My desk mini was stuck on a endless loop of entering BIOS because of OS not being found and Asrock want a clean install before RMA. Thank-you.
You can in fact get to the command prompt before the key code point. I actually never got the insert key option so I did things without that screen and still worked

Ah, so for anyone wondering, based on what I understand: Depending on your motherboard, your system will only allow windows to boot off of either MBR or GPT. GPT tends to only be supported by newer motherboards. What caused my issue is that I had already formatted my storage device as MBR prior to trying to install windows on it because it was the default format. Unlike when I first built my pc and had an unformatted drive.

(Remember) Your drive partition will cleared and you need to allocate partitions again.
