Hey folks! this is a tutorial on how to change bandanna colour as well as your SSJ colour for hair styles! note this method also applies to two-tone hairstyles and eyebrows!
Note if you wish to upload any custom coloured versions of my hairstyles only upload dyt.emb files! put a link to my hair pack so that people can get the other three files!

I try to change color of my hair for ssj blue with fighterz reshade but it does not work help me please (mod new transformation)
Sorry if I'm just being a (very late) idiot, but when dragging the hair file into "embpack" for the first time I get an error with the message "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCR120.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." I've tried uninstalling then reinstalling both Hair pack 17 and Libsxenoverse Master multiple times to no avail. If anyone knows how to resolve this issue please share with me. If I'm just being an idiot feel free to insult me.
I am using a shader pack with the kogu hairstyle and the bandanna now has gone pitch black like the texture has gone missing, is there a fix for this or does this method help fix this problem too? the shader pack is called UltimateR shader pack

C. J. Blanco just to ask, with this method i chamge my default haur color actually i want to change ss1 ss2 and ss3 default to be rosé for my ss rose, can i do that? If you didnt get it tell me ill explain more clearly
how do you edit the eyebrows for ssj? i cannot find forehead, or eyebrows files anywhere
So I want to use the shading with lazybones SSB or SSR, so I did it like this: 1. Installed the LayzBone mod 2. installed the Reshade (not CaC), and took the hair.dyt.emb from GGK (blue goku), but if i install the cac reshade afterwards my char is swapping his clothing all the time and his hair is white, did I do something wrong?

Graphic mods... I'd love to make one but not sure what I could do that hasn't been done.
Currently looking through the Xenoverse 2 mods, looks like the main cast has been shaded except for the more recent additions like Super British Rose Goku Black. Could be a start? Also the xenoverse 1 mods work with 2 mostly, you could work around with my cel shading mod that got finished for Xeno 1 while I was away? I plan on trying to bring back Kon again but as the previous hero, so as far as a new character I have no idea yet xD. Looking through your mods too, love the hair mods.

I myself would recommend using paint.net because you don't need a dds plugin
Hey man, I'm desperately trying to change my CaC's default hair color using this method (which can be done in the game's color editor, but the range of colors is too limited), but every time I try to change the hue, there's no change in-game. I'm certain I have the right DATA000.dds file for the correct hair ID too. What's stranger is that this method works perfectly for transformation DDS files and for the in-game characters that aren't CaC.
Do you know if the method is different for editing the textures of CaC base-form hair, since it has an in-game property that makes the hair color non-static?
The DATA000 file is not really a colour its more of a brightness/shading place holder while we select our own colours so editing hair colour there does nothing really, upping the brightness or contrast on that bar might do better if you want different variety of colors.
Thank you for the tip, this helped a lot. I did notice a slight difference when I edited the brightness and contrast between both DATA000 and DATA002 through trial and error. I'm happy with how it turned out.
Also, I wanted to ask you something. I'd like to use your sleeveless coat mod for my playthrough in the near-ish future. When crediting you and Deadenvy for the mod in the video description, do you want me to put a link to your showcase video instead of the xenoversemods link? I figure that way your video would get additional views and the viewer would click the download link in your video regardless.

check your spam box or try a different email address. If you don't have a other e-mail address then create one somewhere (for exapmle create a outlook.com address and use that one to sign up your xenoverse account). Just keep trying i am sure you should be able to succeed.

When I try to open the DATA002 file it doesn't let me open it with Gimp and when I drag it to the program it says unknown file type. Can you help?

Hey Tryzick, I appreciate yours extension to lklaudat's fighter z mod and have look at your tutorial to change the shades of hair, I managed to get the same color for ssJ4 and SS god hair colors through lklaudat's character hair shades from ss4 gogeta and ss god goku by placing the respective colored data file within the cac's SSJ forms dyte file. But i cannot get the exact look of SS blue from goku blues hair colour file and SS rose from goku black rose. I am using lazybones transformation mod so my SSB hair and SSR hair have their own color files and also have their kio ken variants and I have used the above method in your videos to edit the files through gimp eith the DDS installation. Is this the same with you are you getting blue or rose color but not the exact color as lklaudat's ?? just wondering since your using both mods too, sorry for the long msg.
I just took the colours from SSB goku and rose like any other colour bud.
mmmm, that is strange I mean the colors are blue and pink/rose but not the same. can you tell me which data files you use and did you edit lazybones dyte files within with lklaudat's dyte data files or just took the whole dyte file and rename. im mainly getting this problem because ss blue and rose might have data files for the kio ken variants so just wondering what specifically what you did to get the color because ss4 and god managed to work but mainly because they dont have kio ken or data files 3 to 5 to change.
can you help me every time i change the eyebrow color from blue to dark blue for super saiyan and ssj2 either it doesn't work or regular ssj eyebrows show up in the game

i tried to make a custom blue colour for super saiyan but it just came out as black instead of the dark blue i wanted. any idea why that is?
and using the copy and past method made it white.
make sure you exported it correctly, flatten the image and it follows the same pattern as the other texture files.
figured out the problem with a little help, turns out i accidentally edited the name of the dyt of the hair mod to the transformed hair and that's why it wasn't working. thanks anyway.
Hi, do you know if it's possible to change base form colour without having to get all the dragon balls or at least a trainer that gets me those dragon balls instantly to save some work.. And good job keep going!
Sorry I know no instant hair change mods at the moment, I recommend farming the great ape mission to get dragonballs quickly however.

So I was able to change SSJ and SSJ2 to green but when I transform to SSJ3 its still yellow any idea where the color for SSJ3 is held? Data000 or Data 001 maybe?
HUM_299_Hair.dyt.emb is the ssj3 files.

is there a way to change the ss1 and 2 colours i'm having trouble with the super sayain rose mod in ss3 it changes the colour but the ss1/2 stay gold? it's not the goku transfomable hair mod i tryed it on a cac that i made before i got the hair mod and still gold
there are new versions of those mods on xv2, the new transformations mod I have a link in my dead field mod and stream videos to that, using x2m it will install many different transformations for each slot.
the thing is i tried the ssr mod that i believe you showed and it never worked properly i couldnt get anything to change i'm trying to get it for cac not black so my searching is less then fruitfull and all the ones i find for cac they either wont install or just plain dont work
it works perfectly well for me, follow his guide to the letter
i have a mod for ssr but its for a goku black not cac and i can't install that because it keeps saying that the proper_noun_costume_name_* for all languages aint synced i've been looking for a mod that works fully for like 2-3 months it's that hard to find one my pc will allow or will install properly

@@Tryzick i recently had to format my pc , and i lost my data for xenoverse but i know how to install the cpk files and stuff like that , but everytime i try to uncompress my data files , it is allways giving me error 0xc000007b and i never had that before and its weard because the game is working but when i try to uncompress data it gives me that error , i am not being able to install mods again

you'd either have to 3d model it on to your hair file or find an accessory bandanna mod

I have a question, how would you go about editing the color of the hair for lazybone's transformations? I think all the transformations past Super Sayian 3 have 5 data images.
I will use Super Sayian Blue as an example.
DATA000 has 3 bars, two of them starting with black on the left and fading to three different colors on the right.
The highest bar goes from black to gray i think,
The one between the two goes from black to brown,
and the third bar is pure black.
Anything below is completely white and transparent when opening in gimp.
DATA001 is just black.
DATA002 has 2 bars, the highest one being the default super sayian blue color and texture. The one right below is a fade from green (left) to yellow (right) everything else is again white and transparent.
DATA003 again is just black.
DATA004 and DATA005 is the exact same as DATA002 pattern-wise and color-wise.
I tried changing the color and shading on Super Saiyan Blue by merging the original layer with Dragon Ball Fighterz Vegeta Super Saiyan Blue. Did that for each file, even keeping the transparent bottom. The hair was just white.
I tried the same with Super Sayian God, but without removing the black at the bottom, this time the color change worked, but the bottom half of my characters face was entirely black, his beard survived though.
I hope that is enough information, if there is anything else you need please tell me.
Yes i have installed the necessary plugins for GIMP and i used the embpack. Please help this has been a real headache. (like a literal 4 hour long headache this sunday.)

well its the same model so it can't change from ssj to ssj2, hair style change is different model with different texture were as your eyebrows are staying the same so they are same texture.
I understand, but in some mods on xenoversemods.com/mods/?category=xenoverse-2 is included the face_base color change even with the same model, for exemple: lazybone's new transformation pack inlcudes different color for each ssj stage transformation such as SSJ1-2-3 (yellow), SSG (red), SSB (blue) and SSBKK (steel blue). I studyed his files in HUM directory and I still don't get it, in the face_base.dyt.emb folders there are more DATA.dds files with different colors...
I tryed to concat him but nothing! xD

sup.. i have a cool suggestion you could do a new uniq tranformation.. think...
1 ki bar= ssj GOD (The red one)
2 ki bar=ssjGssj
3 ki bar=ssjGssj2
4 ki bar=ssjGssj3
5 ki bar=ssjGssj4 (with flying rocks+rays and ssj4 gogeta hair for this)
if it is not compatible with oline mode, then it is utterly useless, unless you wanna beat everything in pqs for which we have gotama and ssjr vegito AND the good old overpowered goku mod.

V, ctrl + c = COPY Ctrl + V = Paste
CTRL + Z = Undo so thats how I got back to the previous image that I wanted to alter so the order = C > Z > V

It is the hair of the character, but for example I have the version ssj 2 gohan hair, but in data 2, I get only 2 bars of colors and not 5 as in the video.

SSJ files are somewhat different on xv but similar yes.
i wanted to change the super saiyan forms color to make it look like broly , i also want to change the color of the aura when the cac is transformed in a ssj form , but i cant find any mod related to that on xv , just xv2 , im kinda having a bad time finding it so i wanted to see if i can make it myself , i have backups in case i mess up

yes. tranformable hairstyle 26 but my xv2 isn't working anymore. have the application load error 3:0000065432 after downloading the dbsuper dlc

Tryzick thank you! And that shifts the image, could I just open it into another DATA application copy the color that I needed and then paste it into the new hair that I wanted to change?
Also for the super saiyan (all) skill for new transformations I was trying to change the SSG hair and I’m assuming that’s id 249 but then it comes out pink or white or black, I experimented around and change the regular super saiyan 297 and the hair was red so I have no issues there, therefore I wasn’t sure what was going on when I changed the ID 249 for the super saiyan (all) skill and it wouldn’t change it for me for some reason might there be a solution?
