Wendy E. Taylor, NP - Neurology

Wendy Taylor, AGPC-CNP, is a certified nurse practitioner (American Academy of Nurse Practitioners) at WK Pierremont Neurology Clinic. She is an adult/gerontology primary care certified nurse practitioner who holds Advanced Practice Nurse and Registered Nurse licenses. She attended Northwestern State University College of Nursing for her Bachelor of Science in nursing, and University of South Alabama in Mobile for her Master of Science degree in nursing.
Taylor has worked in neurosurgery and Gamma Knife radiation, plastic surgery and movement disorders. She specializes in movement disorders as the only nurse practitioner within 100 miles who has experience programming all available deep brain stimulator (DBS) systems. Her DBS programming improves quality of life for patients with Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor and dystonia. She has coordinated a Northwest Louisiana Parkinson’s regional support system to provide resources that help increase quality of life for Parkinson’s patients and families.
