- Back in 2013 EV4U converted a 1991 VW Transporter Doka for a customer not knowing that someday they would come to own it. Since taking possession of the Doka in 2021, EV4U has added a 1,600 watt solar array and a 4 kW pure sine wave inverter. The Doka is now able to run without being plugged in to anything other than its self.

Looks awesome. I am thinking of a similar setup for my 28 foot cabin cruiser. It's a steel hulled beast I bought from an old boy who built it in the early 90's. It currently has a 15hp 4 stroke powering it (big motor quit 10 years ago). I want to go fully electric, and use a foldable array like you have when it is moored in front of my house. Thanks for the video from Nelson BC.
ps. my brother has a 72 karmann ghia, so nice to see one in your ad.
Thank you for watching and your comments. We drove our 1974 VW Karmann Ghia 97,000 miles in 7-1/2 years. No valve adjustments, oil changes, etc. Electric is the only way to go.
