Just bought this car for a bit of fun. Just me and my lad cruising around the countryside going to all his sports games. Will drop the back seats down and treat it like a 2 seater with all our gear in the back. Looking forward to the summer and cricket season already!

Just bought a 2022 plate white black edition, fell completely in love with it - always loved the TT and like the fact alot of people hate it 😂 great fun to drive though and looks gorgeous. Doesnt have the performance of my m140i of course but its ace on a b road.

Brilliant review...answered everything I want to know...boot space, acceleration, passenger rear space, pot holes lol...and the bit at the end with the missing entertainment screen...that is a big put off.....wish more people would do an in depth review like this 👍👍👍
I have drove a 2015 TT Quattro S Line nearly every for three years and I love it ! Plenty fast enough if you got a heavy right foot 🦶 Only car I would swap it for is a 911 C4S . Rear seats only really a coat storage area .
Now got a 2017 Black Edition Quattro, but its ( quite rare in this spec) Tdi , I know what people say about diesels but I actually prefer it to my petrol TT proper torque(y) and its a bit cheaper to run and Exempt from that mad tax when I work in Chelsea!
I’ve had 5 Porsches. Last one was a 2020 new 992 911S. I just got a new TT 45 245 BHP Sport edition Black pack remapped to 300 BHP. It’s my interim car till my new 992 911S arrives in 18 months. I love the little TT
Have ordered the 45TFSI Black Edition in Daytona. I’ll be getting the MY22 Black Edition which now gets the gloss black badging/Audi rings instead of the chrome ! Better late than never I’d say ! Great vid . Cheers 👍

Another great episode guys , It’s nice to see cars a little more affordable now and again. Can’t deny the TT is a bit of a classic car for us 80s kids , my old man had one back in the 90s , the kids thought my dad was the richest man on the planet for some reason. I like how they have kept the curve shape and original body design but improved it to make it more aggressive , however it is like a dog with a werewolf costume on top, I hate to say it but feel the owner is someone that needs this to compensate something , or that he/she likes the ladies/men to turn there heads but will speed off “slowly” if they want a ride. Love the overhead shots and again a great viewing experience. Not sure the speed and exhaust test were worth it in this car but u do them so well!

Great video again! That rear spoiler really was pièce de résistance of the car I agree! Definitely a car that I’d want to be sitting in the front of, no chance I’m getting in the back!
What car would I prefer to drive as my everyday motoring experience? Easy the Mk2 Audi TT as I have always seen it as an expensive toy but sadly could not afford till now that is, 2nd hand. Love the shape and the dynamics it gave the motoring industry and appreciative drivers. Mk3 too clinical for me.

Nice review 👋🏻 I loved my old diesel quattro TT Mk3 with S-Tronic gearbox as my daily run about and for longer trips as the boot is great for two up But one of the last TTS’s I think I the sweet spot, 310ps and with a mild stage one upto about 380ps and still reasonably cheap to run and without the fixed rear wing it’s not saying to The Police arrest me 🚙👍🏻

The TT is still a fantastic looking/beautifully designed car, inside and out. But I can't stand when they have the fixed rear wing/spoiler. Completely ruins the iconic TT lines for me.
I got one as I fit in at 6 foot 8 I can't fit in a 911 which id love to own, the high roof on this gives me just enough room, but sadly not for long journeys, crick in the neck, so I take the A7 on long trips

All the Audi TT I’ve seen the grills are horizontal unless you get the rs model. I like the grill in this video wayyy more. Can someone tell me if this is a U.S thing?
Hey Octavia thanks for the comment 🤗 I’m not sure if it’s a US thing. Which generation of TT are you looking at? The 3rd generation has 6 sides kinda hexagonal and this is a black edition version in this video.
You never mentioned the BMW Z4 as a competitor. Can't get my head around why Audi stuck a boot spoiler on this car . Think it ruins the look. Looks like an aftermarket non OEM part that a teenager would stick on his Vauxhall .

What would I rather get as a courier po e that has 4 seats!!!!. Bring back the VW Scirocco!!. If VW had any sense they would bring an electric version of the Scirocco!!. Let's face Audi are slow when it comes to building a practical 4 door TT TT coupe!!!. Not every one is a fan of SUV,s!!. Back in 2014 they showed a concept 4 seater TT at a famous Motor Show what is with Audi ,s Chief executive thinking does he not think a stylish 4 door couple will not sell!!!. If Mercedes and BMW are still being coupe 4 seater cars that can accommodate 4 adults. What the hell is wrong with Audi!!!. Seems like they think they know what the consumer wants??. Well think again!@@!

I partially agree and partially disagree. When the car is new and under warranty, there is nothing to worry - just enjoy. But, once it is on you to maintain and repair, 4 cyl version would be much better in that and many other retrospect. I, myself would too prefer larger naturally aspired engine as there is no replacement for displacement but... In such tiny engine bay... ??? #1, massive heavier engine may affect agility of the vehicle VS 4 cyl making similar amount of power. #2, list of things for which V6 engine has to come from that TT is much longer VS 2.0T. Similar to V10 in S6, if almost anything has to be replaced, it starts with "take engine out of the car" #3, 2.0T is cast iron block that holds its geometry well over time and fairly simple to maintain and everything fairly accessible for complex modern engine at least. With on time, 3000ml quality oil changes and otherwise well maintained it will easy go 100k ml, then timing + some gaskets and it will continue to work. These ea888 are not so bad at all. Out of millions ea888 equipped VAG cars on the roads, stats are not so bad.
Just ordered mine in white. Didn’t have the money unfortunately for the TTS but I can’t wait! Great review it really helped me.

I'd take an early 2nd gen TT 3.2 Quattro VR6 (Non-turbo) over this crap all the time.
