You can also start your machine in your google clock routine when you wake up. That way it always opens when you wake up only. Good for days where you start later and also the machine vibration is a great ALARM! :) I program it to close after 2 hours in case I forget.
great list! used your vids to do these myself, keep up the great work! the other mod i like is silicone edge trim seal for the drip tray insert if it rattles or wobbles a bit
I have pid on my Rocket and still use temp on my e61. What’s hot in the boiler and group head can be different. With pid it’s very stable yes, but I like to know what temp is the brew head
That was an enjoyable video. Did you have any problems removing the brew lever knob when you replaced it with the wooden one? I have a wooden kit coming, but I am not sure if there is some kind of loctite on the brew lever threads because the knob is really firmly attached.
At 3:30, you can see how the water runs out very centrally when showering and is not distributed over the entire shower. That is not really normal or? I have this problem with my Rancilio Silvia. With other portafilters I see this even showering and not only so central.
Sick video Man. I use a smart plug with routines. Best way. Have you got a video installing the gaskets and screen? I'd be heaps keen to see this. My pucks are always so sogy and wet after the shot.
I’m curious if you could shoot the e61 with a laser thermometer and get a accurate temp. I want to use the hole for the pressure gauge with a adjustable flow valve.
Great video with some awesome tips. I was interested in the pressure gauge portion. It makes no sense why Rocket would let any machine leave without the pressure tuned correctly. But, based on the blogs out there I also read the same that pressure might need to be fine tuned. In your experience or from what you’ve discovered, does the pressure gauge that attaches to brew head reflect real pressure that is actually happening?
How long is your cooling flush and have you adjusted the pressurestat? I’ve heard that reduces the long cooling flush by lowering the default boiler temp, but hurts recovery time. With my OPV set at 8 bars I need to flush 200g of water to get my group head temp to 200f

The olive wood accents may not be a mod to improve the workflow, but man...are they pleasing to the eye? Gotta love a bit of olive wood
gotta love cosmetic mods too!!
Im really considering this machine! I was thinking of saving for a Línea mini but I will definitely be satisfied with one of these for at home use!
Incorrect title! 😂
These mods are applicable to most espresso machines, and they will greatly improve their performances. Great video 👏
good point!
Aye ! This is what the people needed ! 🗣

screw that I need a video on your skincare routine! looking fresh
the secret is good lighting ;)
@@itsxris hahaha
Now to mod that wall on the left with the new Hoffman wall art.
i just ordered something for that wall ...
Great video! What color is your shelf liner? Seems the graphite gray is too dark, but the white is too light

I see that in one of your videos you showed a protector for the top of the rocket, where can I get it?

i shouldve mentioned a puck screen also helps IMMENSELY with clean pucks and group!

I have the pesado portafilter along with the tamper , great additions to my coffee machine . How long have you been using the IMS shower screen for ?
Do you find the shelf liner gets too hot or makes marks on the top after long term use?
there are marks but are easily cleaned
May i know whats the name of your cup
Where do I get the temp gauge?
Where can i find the blAck roof

yes - you can test it with the blind basket and see it with an actual shot being pulled
What is your preference for brew temp?

definitely pretty long, I haven't looked into the pressurestat yet but if I put together a future top 5 for this then i will!
@xris what water do you use on your rocket and do you descale it?
brita filtered water is all i use
I also just recently got a rocket why is the default pressure so high?
potentially for pressurized basket users is my guess
Just check w the seller as mine came at 9 bar. I didn’t believe them. Tested pressures and they didn’t lie hahaha
Only real mod is the temp gauge
I guess we have to have high IQs to be espresso junkies, I mean aficionados
