Guess you missed the message from the head of Enotria's studio in March stating that they were focusing on making the PC and Playstation because of limited resources and their fanbase is based in Asia. It also stated that they would release the game on Xbox later. Really seems like they are making shit up to cover why the game is not available on Xbox day and date.

But you can't play on PC in tekken or DOA with friends, and can play in fight'n rage or metal slug with kids. PC has their own negative compare with console. I even put Emulator on xbox, just for launch arcade games, or old games as Front Mission 3, Tobal 2, Weaponlords. But Phil cancel retail mode for emuls, so now you need restart console in devmode. I think the problem is that these higher ups don’t have enough brain cells.
The only thing Sony focus on are preventing games from coming to Xbox and also Game Pass, but stopped announcing them as exclusives anymore. Sony have kept stabbing others since they bought over 250 upcoming multiplatform games in 1994 and made 100% of them exclusive. At least they have "organic growth" on money losses as they lose more money than ever.
My PS5 is 1 of my biggest regrets. As far as gaming used to be the Xbox, why there was no games now PlayStation the same way, but have to pay $180 for premium prescription. After 2 years of that price, I canceled my PlayStation subscription. I've had PlayStation since the beginning. No more think I'm through with gaming until they make something worth buying.
for me it was kinda the on xbox as far as the subscription is concerned,it was and still is needed to play online so i basically got priced so,plus the games coming out at the were all being released on the xbox one at the time,so i just saved up for a PC and i while i have on a few of the more recent consoles they still leave a lot to be desired in terms of options that aside gaming has been great since i switched

That not exactly what they said. They say, that we better put game on 2 platform, but make it great, instead put on 3 platform, and all 3 will be buggy. Also devs add that they have partnership with sega, and they must release game due contract (if i understand correct), this is why they bring game on xbox later, but with DLC. Or something like this. It's not cancel xbox blame, if devs work well, and can make all 3 version the same, after year, but xbox just don't answer. I mean, there is no contradiction. It's funny how many IPs Sony doesn't own that are on that list. PS fans just can't seem to make lists of games or IPs that Sony own without including IPs that they don't own. I wish Sony would give PC Infamous series, Jak series, bloodbourne, and many others. I don’t understand why not just profit on past IPs that were fan favorite/or all of them and draw in revenue they never would’ve had otherwise. The lesson is: give people what they want. The Enotria situation is very interesting. Skillup also talked about this and apparently based on what other devs have said, MS is the easiest company out of the big three for build submissions and getting your game certified, but for some reason all three companies just don't reply to emails from dev teams on a consistent basis leading to situations like what Enotria was dealing with.
What Hiroki Tutoki means about the IPs is that none of those you listed really made money or sold well. Only one that did make a lot was God of War so it was the only one worth pursuing.

On the whole PS/IP thing... I gave up on PS half way through PS4, jumped to XBox, haven't looked back. Haven't powered up my PS4 in YEARS, never bought a PS5... not because of fanboy for either system, but just contentment. I always felt content enough on PS1-4, PSP, Vita (which was basically a scam), Move, etc (even though I feel they were starting to peak with PS3, PS4 first half was gentle decent down other side, while halfway through PS4 was the cliff-drop, big spotlight on Detroit with this)... just like how I never owned an XBox before XBox One. With all that said, I'll go on record in saying that if Sony brought back Infamous, Little Big Planet, and others making it like the good ol' days, and ESPECIALLY PlayStation Home... I would most probably buy a Playstation again. 🤔 PS - I believe PS IPs is their cover excuse. They're probably doing bad (Concord), lacking new games (overspent budget for 18 months), it's starting to show... so when asked why they're freefalling off a cliff, first excuse to come to mind was "lacking IPs". 🤣 🤡 PPS - Their approach was a big reason I left PS... still no real good reason as to why they unplugged Home (it's still an ongoing scandal today), along with getting us hooked on certain IPs that they'd never touch again and seemingly ending up in their own Sony "disney vault". 🫣 (For the record: I started gaming in 1983 on an original ColecoVision [first game = OG Donkey Kong], later a CV Adam, to a bit after that a Tandy 80286 PC, and been an extremely avid gamer ever since... 41 years. 🤠)
It make no sense for Sony to try and pull people away from the other big live service games like Genshin impact, Apex , Fortnite, Call of Duty, Overwatch when they have to invest hundreds of millions into these games and risk flopping because of the competition already on the console. Spending millions acquiring studios like Bungie and Firewalk to make live service games when you were already getting a cut of all their profits without investing into them directly sounds like bad deal all around. Its clear Sony don't even know how to keep a live service alive once they get a hit like Helldivers 2 than proceed to not drop the major updates and bleed most of the playerbase. Just seem like they are obsessed with the idea of live service money but don't want to invest the resources to support the live service format.
Let's not forget Bloodbourne.... Where all they have to do is make a 60fps with upscaling for PS5... But instead they let someone race to make Shadps4 in like a year just to get a PC port. It is pathetic. Consoles and PC have gotten HORRIBLE!

The real reason that the gaming industry is in such a disarray is because the CEO's and some of these Developers are so out of touch, that they're ruining the gaming experience.
Ah yes Xbox for not help or communicate with developers…? Well the developers of BG3 and Stalker beg to differ. BG3 Xbox series S version of the game helped the developers with the PC version. And if it was not for Xbox there would be no stalkers 2. So yeah they could do better. But then so could everyone. Even more so PlayStation and it’s trash fire called Concord.
The root of the problem is when they started conglomerating Producers and Developers. It's gotten so bad now that a 3rd party isn't a 3rd party developer for a system, but an outside company and they are largely ignored or shunned in favor of 1st party owned developers that can be TOLD what to make because they want to own the entire production and have complete control over monetization (the BIG reason IMHO).
The gaming industry is spiraling into it's second crash, and frankly, it just can't happen fast enough. Half the industry is stuck chasing a mythical Fortnite killer, the other half was covered pretty well in this video, idjits in charge who don't know the industry they lead and are destroying it from the inside. As for the comment that this is the worst game generation? As someone who started with the NES so no comment on anything prior to that, I agree. It's by far and away the worst gen I've lived through to the point I've found myself not only playing more retro games, but actively struggling to keep interest in the hobby. And it's not because of a lack of or loss of interest, but because the industry has become so, well, toxic, in the most literal sense.
One of the anime franchises that Sony has some stake in is sword art online, which has its own game series published by Bandai namco used to be exclusive to Playstation up until 2017 with the release of Sword art online fatal bullet.
I'm an Xbox guy, but i used to have ps1 and ps2, and that was amazing. Ridge Racer, extreme games, Silent Hill, Twisted Metal, and many more. Sony was on 🔥

Glad you brought up Rogue Galaxy. That game was developed by Level-5 who has experience with fostering several multi-media franchises from the ground up along with experience on other major franchises like Gundam and Dragon Quesr. Level-5 literally has the experience Sony's looking for, and Sony has the resources Level-5 needs. A second shot at Rogue Galaxy would be crazy successful.
This entire a generation caused me to switch exclusively to PC. 2020 I had a Pc w/ a rtx 2060/ryzen 3700x that I used mostly for content creation and some light gaming. My xbsx and ps5 out performed it so I played most games on console. FW to now..I'm now on a 6900xt/ryzen 5800x3d rig that I built in late 2022, where I play ALL my games, because I'm so sick of the ridiculousness that this console generation has become.
I'm getting tired of stuff like this. I'm so tired of companies making dumb decisions and harming the consumer. I'm about to just save up for a PC. Already ordered a Steam Deck, I'm so done.
There has to be balance between fostering new IPs and fostering existing IPs. We don't want to see an IP being milked dry like Assassin's Creed, but what Sony is doing right now is seeking out new playerbases AT THE EXPENSE of existing playerbases. Getting in touch with one of the major console manufacturers to get your game published on their console isn't exclusively an Xbox problem. It's a communication issue with Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft. In Skillup's coverage of this story, he mentioned that devs he's spoken to have had issues with all three of them. However, once you do get in contact, Xbox is apparently one the easiest to get your game onto. But, all three of them need to make it easier for smaller devs to get in touch with them.
When Alex pulled out Rogue Galaxy, i had a complete Nerdgasm! That was a great game, and it had a system that no other game has replicated today. I need developers to take chances again!
It's not a question of raw amount of intellectual property, it's a flawed business model that has already failed and is draining the industry. We've crested the hill, we're headed for the inevitable valley. The higher ups at both Sony and Microsoft and the big 3rd parties all bet heavily on models that haven't quite panned out as planned. They are tightening the belts, revenue is down, spending is down, layoffs are up. This entire generation of gaming (at least from the Sony and MS perspective) is going to be seen as one big 'meh'. We will look back and laugh at the time when the publishers went hard in the paint for live service and subscriptions.... where they happily spent cheap debt from venture capital with ridiculously bloated budgets. Those days are done. Too many gamers just shrugged their shoulders and then dusted off old games from their backlog instead. Now that it's obvious this particular golden goose isn't going to lay enough eggs, well... the correction is now inevitable. Ninth gen is the wet fart in the underwear of gaming. Not even GTA6 will be enough to save it... it's not going to have nearly the legs that GTA5 had.

As far as xbox goes, well I’m glad that they are now working with capcom and the devs of enotria the last song for putting their games onto the xbox platform but at the same time they seriously need to work on their communication if they want people to get into their ecosystem.

I know PC is the best option. But you can't play on PC in tekken or DOA with friends, and can play in fight'n rage or metal slug with kids. PC has their own negative compare with console.
I even put Emulator on xbox, just for launch arcade games, or old games as Front Mission 3, Tobal 2, Weaponlords. But Phil cancel retail mode for emuls, so now you need restart console in devmode. Which is not handy now.
Since last time i buy only Wanted:Dead. And i wanted buy new XBseries, but i still wait and think, buy PS5 (and lose all XB library), or buy XB and lose access for all normal games, because alk new xb and PS5 games is woke. You like 3rd person games - you have all on xbox, but on PS you have same + StellarB. And, doesn't matter which genre you love, you basically have the same amount but on PS it will be +1. Ofcourse there some exception, but...and i still don't buy PS5 only because it don't have old games, which i like.

My PS5 is 1 of my biggest regrets. As far as gaming used to be the Xbox, why there was no games now PlayStation the same way, but have to pay $180 for premium prescription. After 2 years of that price, I canceled my PlayStation subscription. I've had PlayStation since the beginning. No more think I'm through with gaming until they make something worth buying.

If it was multiple devs was saying the same thing about Xbox then that would be a bad look on the Microsoft however it's only ONE dev saying this and from the comments l've read so far the devs were going to press more on the PC and PlayStation version first the Xbox later. Skillup also talked about this and apparently based on what other devs have said, MS is the easiest company out of the big three for build submissions and getting your game certified, but for some reason all three companies just don't reply to emails from dev teams on a consistent basis leading to situations like what Enotria was dealing with.

What Hiroki Tutoki means about the IPs is that none of those you listed really made money or sold well. Only one that did make a lot was God of War so it was the only one worth pursuing.

On the whole PS/IP thing... I gave up on PS half way through PS4, jumped to XBox, haven't looked back.
Haven't powered up my PS4 in YEARS, never bought a PS5... not because of fanboy for either system, but just contentment. I always felt content enough on PS1-4, PSP, Vita (which was basically a scam), Move, etc (even though I feel they were starting to peak with PS3, PS4 first half was gentle decent down other side, while halfway through PS4 was the cliff-drop, big spotlight on Detroit with this)... just like how I never owned an XBox before XBox One.
With all that said, I'll go on record in saying that if Sony brought back Infamous, Little Big Planet, and others making it like the good ol' days, and ESPECIALLY PlayStation Home... I would most probably buy a Playstation again. 🤔
PS - I believe PS IPs is their cover excuse. They're probably doing bad (Concord), lacking new games (overspent budget for 18 months), it's starting to show... so when asked why they're freefalling off a cliff, first excuse to come to mind was "lacking IPs". 🤣 🤡
PPS - Their approach was a big reason I left PS... still no real good reason as to why they unplugged Home (it's still an ongoing scandal today), along with getting us hooked on certain IPs that they'd never touch again and seemingly ending up in their own Sony "disney vault". 🫣
(For the record: I started gaming in 1983 on an original ColecoVision [first game = OG Donkey Kong], later a CV Adam, to a bit after that a Tandy 80286 PC, and been an extremely avid gamer ever since... 41 years. 🤠)
And I disagree. PlayStation have a lot of games what PlayStation don’t have is a lot of live service games.
It make no sense for Sony to try and pull people away from the other big live service games like Genshin impact, Apex , Fortnite, Call of Duty, Overwatch when they have to invest hundreds of millions into these games and risk flopping because of the competition already on the console. Spending millions acquiring studios like Bungie and Firewalk to make live service games when you were already getting a cut of all their profits without investing into them directly sounds like bad deal all around.
Its clear Sony don't even know how to keep a live service alive once they get a hit like Helldivers 2 than proceed to not drop the major updates and bleed most of the playerbase. Just seem like they are obsessed with the idea of live service money but don't want to invest the resources to support the live service format.

The root of the problem is when they started conglomerating Producers and Developers. It's gotten so bad now that a 3rd party isn't a 3rd party developer for a system, but an outside company and they are largely ignored or shunned in favor of 1st party owned developers that can be TOLD what to make because they want to own the entire production and have complete control over monetization (the BIG reason IMHO).
Sadly all the old IPs that we want won't come back because they can't milk it drip feed content and micro transactions

Half the industry is stuck chasing a mythical Fortnite killer, the other half was covered pretty well in this video, idjits in charge who don't know the industry they lead and are destroying it from the inside. As for the comment that this is the worst game generation? As someone who started with the NES so no comment on anything prior to that, I agree. It's by far and away the worst gen I've lived through to the point I've found myself not only playing more retro games, but actively struggling to keep interest in the hobby. And it's not because of a lack of or loss of interest, but because the industry has become so, well, toxic, in the most literal sense.
One of the anime franchises that Sony has some stake in is sword art online, which has its own game series published by Bandai namco used to be exclusive to Playstation up until 2017 with the release of Sword art online fatal bullet.

Glad you brought up Rogue Galaxy. That game was developed by Level-5 who has experience with fostering several multi-media franchises from the ground up along with experience on other major franchises like Gundam and Dragon Quesr. Level-5 literally has the experience Sony's looking for, and Sony has the resources Level-5 needs. A second shot at Rogue Galaxy would be crazy successful.

This entire a generation caused me to switch exclusively to PC. 2020 I had a Pc w/ a rtx 2060/ryzen 3700x that I used mostly for content creation and some light gaming. My xbsx and ps5 out performed it so I played most games on console. FW to now..I'm now on a 6900xt/ryzen 5800x3d rig that I built in late 2022, where I play ALL my games, because I'm so sick of the ridiculousness that this console generation has become.

There has to be balance between fostering new IPs and fostering existing IPs. We don't want to see an IP being milked dry like Assassin's Creed, but what Sony is doing right now is seeking out new playerbases AT THE EXPENSE of existing playerbases. Getting in touch with one of the major console manufacturers to get your game published on their console isn't exclusively an Xbox problem. It's a communication issue with Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft. In Skillup's coverage of this story, he mentioned that devs he's spoken to have had issues with all three of them. However, once you do get in contact, Xbox is apparently one the easiest to get your game onto. But, all three of them need to make it easier for smaller devs to get in touch with them.

When Alex pulled out Rogue Galaxy, i had a complete Nerdgasm! That was a great game, and it had a system that no other game has replicated today. I need developers to take chances again!
It's not a question of raw amount of intellectual property, it's a flawed business model that has already failed and is draining the industry. We've crested the hill, we're headed for the inevitable valley. The higher ups at both Sony and Microsoft and the big 3rd parties all bet heavily on models that haven't quite panned out as planned. They are tightening the belts, revenue is down, spending is down, layoffs are up. This entire generation of gaming (at least from the Sony and MS perspective) is going to be seen as one big 'meh'.
We will look back and laugh at the time when the publishers went hard in the paint for live service and subscriptions.... where they happily spent cheap debt from venture capital with ridiculously bloated budgets. Those days are done. Too many gamers just shrugged their shoulders and then dusted off old games from their backlog instead. Now that it's obvious this particular golden goose isn't going to lay enough eggs, well... the correction is now inevitable. Ninth gen is the wet fart in the underwear of gaming. Not even GTA6 will be enough to save it... it's not going to have nearly the legs that GTA5 had.

I don't understand why Sony is saying that they don't have original IPS these guys have so many games these guys have Jak and Daxter Sly Cooper Ratchet and Clank medieval and many other good IPS and yes shame on Xbox for not contacting this company and time
