l really appreciate how they didnt just delete inventory and called it a day,, they also added a lot of related-but-not-immediately-obvious features like stacking and hovering etcc. Really outstanding
This is how companies should do April Fools.
Ironically the no inventory feature makes the game more realistic.
Wow, Minecraft keeps managing to 1-up itself for April Fools! From locked chests and a fake microtransaction screen, to infinite "dimensions", to now completely revitalizing the gameplay! Absolutely insane.
I want this game mode to get a competitive speedrun. It’s so hilarious, and has so much potential for unique and crazy strategies.
I genuinely believe that mojang spends most of their days preparing for their next April fools update

For the next April fools update they should add a chat reporting feature!
Some of the features highkey are kinda awesome like, grabbing and stacking mobs on your head, throwing blocks at stuff and it doing damage, using chicken to glide and fly, these are all things that could make for a fun little mod to actual, regular, inventory-having Minecraft.

I know it's an april fools mod, but the ridable dragon gives me hope that maybe the dragon egg will have a similar use in future updates

I just tried this for a bit myself, and about 10 minutes in I tamed a horse, and was able to open it's inventory. It was kinda strange after all the messing around throwing things the whole time. also I found out that sheep get sheared when you throw them and if you throw wool at them they regain it.
I love how every single stupid thing you could imagine being the solution is just throw the crafting table just pick up the chicken and fly it just grab the skele turret
