I've been searching for a proper choral version of this song for ages! This almost sounds like an Alexandrov Choir interpretation which is why I'm surprised why it's so hard to find this specific version.

It seems like every war has it's owne version of Black Raven. But the meaning is the same every time - the soldier is dying and all he can think about, is his family and his beloved.
