@@adriangonciarz Their worth, is entirely dependent on your goal. I wanted a fantastic sounding pickup, that would also provide a VERY cool looking aesthetic, to an already beautiful guitar. Part of the reason that guitar would hold its tuning so well is not just the bridge but the design of the nut. Music Man instruments are well designed to the smallest detail. Just take the iconic four over two headstock design. It makes far more sense than the inline Strat style design most guitars tend to have. It just stays in tuner better and has a lot more stability. My main guitar these days is a Schecter with a 3 over 3 headstock and the thing absolutely does not go out of tune. It also has a string through body/tune o matic bridge design which I'm sure helps.

BTW, ABSOLUTELY brilliant guitar playing! I love the tone of those pups. I'm a big DiMarzio fan and I think both the Vai line and Satch line are excellent. I used the PAF Pro and Fred for years because I tend to favor medium output pups, but for higher output I think some of the Vai models sound superb! Great clarity and tone. The Utopias sound amazing and I may order a set soon to pop into my Mex strat.

The "Luke" has a basswood body, which is a bit brighter sounding than the Mahogany and rosewood Jem, which these pickups were designed for. I think they sound fantastic in basswood! Alder is a little bit brighter sounding than Basswood, so they may be a bit more "present" if you know what I mean. Neck woods will affect the overall tone as well. The Jem has maple and rosewood. My Luke has roasted maple and rosewood. Does your Nuno have maple and Ebony? Ebony will be a bit brighter than rosewood also. But, IMO it's worth trying at a minimum. If they don't work in the Washburn, it's the perfect excuse to buy a new guitar that they will work in. ;)

@@ChrisTompkins-Music-And-Gear Lol, the last sentence is wisdom itself!
It's an N2, Korean made in 1991 and purchased in 1992, back when I was 14 years old. It is from an era when the Koreans wanted to proove they can replace the Japanese luthiers and let me tell you, it plays and sounds like a 1500$ instrument, completely stock. Maple neck and the best chocolate coloured rosewood of any guitar I ever owned and still own. Love it to bits and lately I'm thinking of doing the swap I mentioned, I have fallen in love with these DMs. My tech says I'll loose a lot of the highs but thats not the vibe I'm getting from playing them. In fact, I really like that they sound so rounded and they are by far the most controllable pickups I've ever played, if that makes any sense. I seem to always have control of my sound, always give what thet are asked, nothing more, nothing less. They transformed an already top guitar to an other level so I see no reason failing to do so this time.
Oh well, guess I won't know if I don't give it a go... Thanks for your time man, appreciate it!

I do have a few questions about the tuning of the guitars because I have one for myself and I also want to change the pickups to the original Transition pickups. As you said, these Sterling-Pickups are garbage ;-).

On one pickup the red cable is soldered to the switch while the green cable is soldered to the ground. On the other pickup it is the other way round. The green cable to the switch while the red cable to the ground. Can you help me out in some way? That would be great!

I really liked my JP50! Same bridge as the luke. You really need to have straight string pull after the nut, for solid tuning stability with a floating trem. That's partly why the Music man/sterling guitars are usually solid. Proper setup and lubrication do most of the work though.
