Dude Those mod you've done with your guitar is really good and inspiring! I've got the older model of LK100 and it's already loaded with Dimarzio Transitions. Thinking of replacing the nut and saddles too! Thanks bro.
Part of the reason that guitar would hold its tuning so well is not just the bridge but the design of the nut. Music Man instruments are well designed to the smallest detail. Just take the iconic four over two headstock design. It makes far more sense than the inline Strat style design most guitars tend to have. It just stays in tuner better and has a lot more stability. My main guitar these days is a Schecter with a 3 over 3 headstock and the thing absolutely does not go out of tune. It also has a string through body/tune o matic bridge design which I'm sure helps.
You really turned that into a nice guitar Chris. It's just beautiful and now sounds incredible too. Of course a lot of it is in your talented hands as an artist. Good for you taking the time and effort to turn marginal, lower end guitars into treasures. I'm inspired.

The "Luke" has a basswood body, which is a bit brighter sounding than the Mahogany and rosewood Jem, which these pickups were designed for. I think they sound fantastic in basswood! Alder is a little bit brighter sounding than Basswood, so they may be a bit more "present" if you know what I mean. Neck woods will affect the overall tone as well. The Jem has maple and rosewood. My Luke has roasted maple and rosewood. Does your Nuno have maple and Ebony? Ebony will be a bit brighter than rosewood also. But, IMO it's worth trying at a minimum. @@ChrisTompkins-Music-And-Gear OK! so a standard Fender saddle will fit? thanks for answer!/Micke S.
I don't think a USA saddle will fit. Their a bit wider on the USA models. But I'm not certain.
Is the pickup suitable for Les Paul??
Yucky plastic nut ! LOL. I really dig those pickups. What are you playing through?? I was thinking about another guitar, now I think you sold me....
I was playing through my Blackstar Silverline 100 watt head into my Blackstar 2x12 cab.
It just happens that I saw a used one for cheap here:

Killer sounding pickups! That really makes me want to pick up one of those Luke models and modify it to go with my Tiger Eye Majesty!
What model of saddles did you use?
And the playing around the 13:50 mark with the whammy bar stuff is incredible! I can’t believe that thing stays in tune so good!
Can you tell me which nut you bought for sterling .. Is nut universal and it fits in several guitars ..?
I got this one:

what kind of amp are you using, Distortion sounds great
Blackstar Silverline 100 watt head.

Improvement from what?
The stock Sterling pickups. 😄
@@ChrisTompkins-Music-And-Gear need to a and b. Useless otherwise.
I have a video on my channel of the stock guitar. You can hear the difference from that video.

I had no idea if they would fit. I just know how to make them fit, if need be. But these dropped right in. :)
