Miami blue. Works good with the curvy design.
+1
It would make the car look newer
Oooh agreed, especially with some gloss black wheels
And some black rims
or may be a tiny bit darker than that, for me it looks something like baby blue
no offence
Pearl light green. The silver is too much like the current color.
matte silver, so it doesn't look all funky in the door jams and when the hood and trunk lid are up....charcoal wheels, dark tinted windows
The slightly greenish yellow is very nice.
Like the green reminds me of the 70's Porsche 911 or maybe the baby blue for the same reason....do a little homage. I know you live in AZ so hot hot hot but I would consider black for the accent....wheels, interior etc or colored wheels with a black pin stripe. Anyways great vid
If you go grey - gun metal grey metalic and black rims (serious German brooding) if you PAINT it. Otherwise Tater Tot deserves Green or Electric Lime Jello Green and white rims! And the MR2 sounds sick (as long as it runs, keep at it).
Nothing is more exciting to a “car guy”, then a beautiful woman that knows and works on cars. You’re a dream !
Have a shirt that says, "Awkward is my specialty" Only a few people can pull off being awkward so gracefully. Nice vid as always.
😂
I vote for the pearl light green - it'll look good on the TT.
would look really good on that car
Go with the Nardo!!
Javier Soto with black strips to set it off. Where? Too many places to put them 😂
...and with black wheels
German cars should be silver anyway... I would save the money and put it in other products for the car.
The Nardo suits the elegance of this car.
I've been a mechanic for 38 years. You're not dumb, because you resolved the issue. You're human.
Mad editing skills, great camera work, beautiful talent, great writers, and they no longer have blond streaks. You are so much more than blond streaks. Keep up all you do. I a billion others appreciate it
Maybe a little biased but I’d go with a Orange color for the wrap.
CORAL seems like a fitting color for a TT.

Orange with dark wheels
Go Orange!
Metallic Orange, if they have it.
Peach orange with shimmer shine.
Pearl light green with white wheels.
Epic suggestion for a desert state car, I like it!
I would go with hyper black wheels.
you are, hands down, the most AMAZING woman. you just have the perfect demeanor..and you work on cars. unreal. where oh where did I go wrong..
The electric motor of the fuel pump will have very low resistance, so your DMM will show continuity regardless. If you can hear the pump prime, the pump itself seems to be OK.
If the car has an immobiliser, the key (or more precisely - the RFID chip within the key housing) might not be registered properly, so the ECU just shuts the engine off.
the short shorts in this video.. +1 ...oh, and the new color looks great!
Something similar to Porsche's Ultra Violet would look well cool.
Burnt orange!
P.S. I dig the brunette color!
Ambulance Yellow for the Tater!!! Black accents wicked
Trying to measure continuity with whatever it's connected to still connected will drive you insane. Measure voltage, or measure continuity between two ends of a wire. Remember when you backprobe the connector on the fuel pump (or anything), the continuity goes in two directions, back up the wire, and through the fuel pump...that is connected to ground. It makes it very confusing to get clear readings. Also, a timed turnoff like that is indicative of a sensor fault. My guess is the TPS, AFM or crank sensor. Try to get the errors out of the ECU, I bet you'll find something.
This.
Completely sounds like one of the suggestions here. This is where an aftermarket ECU is excellent. Maybe the OBDII reader will show voltages and which one is not correct?
1991 is before OBDII. But I suspect there is way to read error codes using the blinking light method. Typically cars of that era had a connector you short out and it starts blinking the check engine light with error code patterns.
it wouldn't be a security related problem on the factory ecu? and i think it's port 4 and 5 on the Aldl (OBD1) port that need's to be earth'd together?
Hmm, that's a good point as well. You are right, I've seen similar timed turnoff when you start a car and the key doesn't have a chip or has a wrong chip. But I think 1991 is before that kind of stuff came out, but worth a look for sure.
Your hair looks amazing!
Awesome new hair color. And really enjoying the troubleshooting of the MR2. Can't wait to see it running.
Congrats on your progress Sarah. You are soooo close.
Love that you show the steps backwards as well as the successes. The grey color matched your nails.
Depends on what you intend on doing with the car. If it's to flip then pick a color you imagine will appeal to the most folks. Don't intentionally limit your potential buyers with colors that might turn--off too many folks. If you ultimately decide to keep the car, then go wild with whatever appeals to you (the "pop" colors perhaps). Just for my vote I liked the silver/Grey color range
Looks great Sarah. Good choice on the natural color.
You get continuity on both sides because you are seeing the resistance of the fuel pump on the positive side.
Hola amiga 😂
Orange will be great
Mi casco es su casco
orange
Color - a Green that matches the tips of your nails.
I had a problem where a spare key would start the engine and then it would die. The ECM contains code to look for the coded security key which my spare did not have. A theft protection thing.
Like the new hair color. Would have liked to seen it a little redder. But that's me.
Agree to all 3 Points
Hey Mark...the spare Key needs the Transponder chip...off the main Key. Will be little more $$ have it professionally done. Good luck!
Hey Sprydo7, I did this intentionally. I keep this spare key in wallet in case I ever lock myself out. I can pull out the key and open the vehicle. Then use the real key to start and drive away. If my wallet is ever stolen they cannot take my vehicle, only open it.
That's what it sounded like to me also.
thank you professor. Nice diagnostics work. I have done a lot of it myself. It's fun but such a time consumer.
thanks for always posting up Sarah. Recently subscribed and watched all the other videos to get up to speed, so you're welcome for a random spike in views! Makes me enjoy a Thursday now before going into work.
Yellow!
go with your first pick, bright yellow ftw!
Yellow for the win.
I'm late to the game, but here's my two cents: yellow for cool and safety. Cool: it just looks awesome; it's uncommon and eye-catching. Safety: it's highly visible on and (may God forbid) off the road. The oranges may blend in with the desert colors, especially if dust is on it after going off the road. The greens may blend in with the vegetation in the mountains. I try to have my cars be colors that I like and easy to see if I end up crashed and unconscious off of the road.
Gloss Grey Metallic 807M it’s similar to the color on the newer Audi’s like the RS7, and looks pretty classy IMO.
Hair looks Great Sarah!!! As for the starter cable we all make dumb mistakes when we put things back together.
Bright Yellow for sure! Love the new hairdo, Sarah 👍😍
i really love the new hair do it looks beautiful on you and matches your eyebrows looks really good
Sarah.... you aren't 'cringe worthy'.... You're fun and adorable....
The natural brown looks good on you and the gray would look cool on the car. Stealth cool and a great background for bright livery whenever you wanted to do that.
your hair is just icing. any color is awesome
I would say go with yellow
Lime Green for sure
OH WOW! You are simply stunning as a brunette! Fantastic job on MR2 electrical learning a lot from you, Sarah! Thanks for sharing!
LOVE the dark brunette color!! It gives your face more warmth and draws out the deep richness of your eyes. Great call Sarah!
Is there a possibility that you could do a calendar? Twelve months of you to have in my garage.... PRICELESS!!!! Also, great diagnostic skills.
Love a good wire tracing video. Give Wee Sarah a hug .
Yes, but awkward garage poses in reasonable clothing.
Bill Stevenson Yes! Yes! Yes!
you're not cringy 100% you're a little bit awkward but there is absolutely nothing wrong with that i'm awkward to, i would say it adds to your beautiful spirit and personality :) xo you're awesome keep being you
Love your channel!!!..... new hair color looks great 👍🏼👍🏼
Great video.. Nice troubleshooting.
Looking forward to seeing which wrap you go with.
Aviator Grey for the TT 😍
Brush - Producer & Songwriter best color ever!!!
Metallic blue
One tip when back probing a connector, either buy a multimeter lead that is designed to back probe or using something like a paper clip to stick into the connector and touch the lead to the paper clip. The *stock* leads that often come with multimeters can cause damage to the wire/pin connection within the connector without the user realizing it. Ask me how I know, haha.
The fast lizard is to get away from your faster road runners. They are fun to watch though. I remember watching them up in Tempe when I lived there.
Hi Sarah.. Love the channel.. My colour pick is purple..
Can't believe I had to scroll so far down to find someone who had said 'purple'. Specifically, go for a purple like the OEM colour Audi use on things like the RS6.
Bright green
Orange, proper gloss Black powder coated wheels and de-chrome everything, window sills badges grilles everything.
Absolutly love your humor and great videos i look forword to the notifaction to tell me you posted keep up the hard work your doing great
Pearl Light Green
Why people dislike the Video? Sarah is Awesome.
Looking good Sarah
When I have electrical problems I take it to an expert
Proud of you for figuring it out on your own 🤔🇨🇦
You're so close Sarah I can't wait to here MR Dos stay running .Don't really care about the car color I'm sure you'll make the right decision just like you did with your hair color it looks really pretty.
you top nail colour sarah
Meow
Suggestion :
Dark Neon Orange, Powder-Black rims (except Audi axle-nut cover; should leave chrome), and Powder-Black Audi emblems (except Audi front-grille emblem; should leave chrome). - 🚘🌟💯
I have this same Car, same color --- I personally like the classic Silver on my 225...
Oh damn, new hair color looks great!
LOL!...show me a mechanic who has missed something dumb like that starter cable, and I'll show you a mechanic who will not make that mistake again! Thanks for taking us all along on that voyage of discovery! The RUclipsrs that gloss over stuff like that do not get a subscribe from me.
I know that wrenching on someone else's failed project is a messy, time-consuming, business. You are doing a good job of relating to us what that damned MR2 is taking out of you. When you're finished with it, I'd have no hesitation buying it and driving it coast to coast! It'll be almost as good-lookin' and capable as you are, Sarah!
With that said, I'm going back to the video...
6:45 = like
6:09 not too bad either.
Gray
Congratulations on getting Mr Dos sorted out. Just got my 87 running on Monday, a good week for Mr2s it seems.
Another great video, Sarah. Keep on diagnosing Mr. DOS. You'll get it. As far as Teeter Tot, I think it would look awesome in lime green. I remember that the Porsche 911 was available in that color, and it always looked great. A splash of color on a small, curvy car looks great. Keep up the good work. BTY...your rich brunette looks fabulous.
Hi saraaaaaaaaa saludos from.chile
The booty angle shots in this vid are A1!
Great pair of legs too
I vote "booty angle" color :)
Fierce fusia. I really want my forester wrapped in this. So lush!
Or fuchsia even
Hair looks great, Sarah!
The colour and fade of your finger nails is a good colour, with some star bursts yellow, Maybe why don’t you ask if any of you followers are photoshop wizards and get them to do your TT in different colours. Also have you tried a scanning tool for diagnostics?
I vote for copper metallic wrap, with black chrome wheels
Of the colors you want , think the Nardo gray...... I could also see a bright white. It would be a little still see if it was for us to go boy
Voice recognition messed up.
White with R8 wrapping ,,,,my favorite color.....White would blend in with the Forrester Gump. And be cooler hot days
Bj Welch I agree. Sounds great.
Miata looks good... I promised my daughter one when she graduates college lol. On the MR2, there are two circuits - start and run for fuel.. I had a problem with that on mine when I engine swapped.
Love the new hair!!! Gorgeous!!!
i just like the non direct seduction like in 6:08 and 6:45 its like i didn't know the camera was there haha
Go with teal
So glad you found it Sarah! Excellent trouble shooting before the "discovery" also!!! DO THE GREY!!!!! (wrap) That was a "quattro" lizard !!!
Pearl light is awesome for punching up the color would look great on a track as well and i too also like the grey as it is classy audi but the green pops and yhat shade is just right
You’re freakin adorable.
Well hello beautiful
Having wrapped my TT this year, I say go with what makes you happy. I chose an homage to Audi classic liveries, using red, white, and black because mine is a dedicated track car.
This girl knows what she's doing! I vote for red!
Yeah the pearl light green!!! Go!!! Love the hair, like a geek goddess of automobiles!
Glad you found the ignition power problem from the last video. A structured approach to troubleshooting goes a long way and it's quite educational. I'm sure you'll find it eventually and you've already eliminated some possibilities, so I'd count that as a couple of steps towards the goal.
Good luck with the electrical issues. That's right up there with drum brakes on my list of least favorite automotive trouble to work on.
Also. Loving the new hair colour. It looks great.
Pearl green since bright greens are my favorite but it all really depends on how it flows of the body lines. What loons great on one car looks out of place on another. Also I like the grey.
You go girl, love to watch you troubleshoot. I think I need a project car now. Btw your hair looks awesome!!! Get the yellow for the car.👍
New to channel and catching up on videos . Wow impressed on how much u know and do yourself !!
I would go with an orange! and I really like the music you use.Its never too much which is really
nice.
That would be an easily missed cable and you figured it out so cool. Lime green is my wife's favorite color so I better go with that. :) I think your headed in the right direction with the troubleshooting and the new hair color. It looks good.
Really enjoyed the process of troubleshooting the electrical gremlin. And brunette? Nice!
The hair looks great, good video thanks
Love the hair color!!!
The comment at 6:30 sounds way better when Sarah says it : )
At 12:51 Sarah you look Stunning very Pretty with you hair like that.
Great video as always. Love the dress. Look beautiful as always. I seen a TT near my town that was a deep metallic silver and dark blue
Looking amazing.
Hair looks great !!!
My fingers are crossed that you get the MR2 sorted soon. Also you choice of hair colour looks great, it really suits you.
OMG wow your hair looks amazing an I like the grey for the Audi TT
Brandon, nice choice on the NC!
Bright happy yellow!
love the copper color with some black rims !!!
