maretu has such a weird way with words it's as if we're listening to the twisted heart of a person who doesn't understand how to put their own emotions into words
He does, and this is a lot more hard-hitting once you realize this song is in the perspective of the victim of a pedophile - a child who is most likely unable to decipher how they feel towards their abuser or even about their situation as a whole. They wouldn't know how to put those emotions into words. Honestly, the lyrics are put together so authentically that it really makes me wonder about MARETU's own past.
i have noticed that all his songs are about love or the products of love. but not in the traditional sense he talks about the fucked up parts that can come from love * teen pregnancy and coercion * homophobia * denial * pedophilia * stalking * feeling the need to give up virginity to keep a relationship * breakups that cause hatred for years * online relationships that end with the ex showing private things * shame pretty interesting
Teen pregnancy and players - mind brand Homophobia - eraser girl Pedophilia - suji Stalking - disillusioned Feeling the need to give up virginity - rebirth Those are the ones I'm sure of...
Boi me too.. i think hes in a kinda relationship as well as being depressed? But of course i think hes not really.. (kinda reminds me of ichimatsu if you know him lol)
Honestly this song feels linked to Suji, and I'm pretty sure Suji is about pedophilia or something, so it would make sense Like suji is the pedos pov and scrumize victims pov Edit: oh yeah the bit at the end is in suji too
aaaand since i left a comment on suji this song is why i dont see suji as glorifying csa. i can rly relate 2 it, it absolutely describes what a lot of csa survivors/victims go through. self-blaming, feeling like you cant tell anyone, tht guilt, fear, etc. suji is simply the abusers pov. this is the victims.
as a person who went through csa, i personally dont see this as glorifying at all. i relate to a lot of the stuff this song is ssaying. people are allowed to talk about not so good things without glorifying!
neither suji nor scrumize paint a pretty picture at all. just because it's an enjoyable song doesn't mean it's glorifying it, the best art is made from pain.
I love the end of this song . to me, it really embodies the feeling of loneliness and guilt after an emotionally abusive relationship. It's like your world comes to a stop and you wonder, what now? can I ever love someone again?
AHH I got so much chills when I heard that piano piece at 3:23 because it tells me this song leads into "Suji" and I've been so stuck on the interpretation of what the lyrics meant, I feel like this song gave me a lot of insight. Like it sounds like the person from Suji took advantage of the insecurity the person from this song seems to feel about themselves. Like they preyed on their vulnerability in a way? I think the person in this song strived for a deep acceptance from someone to make themselves feel better, like they looked to this person as some sort of savior, but the situation turned sour very quickly and they became victimized to it. It's kind of sad.
Neko Mumei Whats interesting to me is that you can hear cartires screaching at 2:03 , maybe as a methapor for the "Relationship" derailing or for a sudden realisation of the victim , that its in an abusive relationship? looking at the lyrics it seems like they confronted their abuser and they started blaming them.
A really random thought I had about this song I have a really strong feeling that this song's linked to suji, the real ice breaker for me is the piano bit, the same melody in suji (3:23) and the phrases in the songs feel connected. "What the hell!?" The abuser's point of view of the victim, in which the victim spews out their thoughts. "How did I let this shit happen?" The victim's point of view and the thoughts in their mind. I also think suji is the presentense of the situation, like the song is from the abuser's view but the situation is happening right now. While scrumize, feels like the aftermath, I theorize that the reason why the victim's thoughts are in a form of aftermath is because they're only able to actually form thoughts after the abuse and damage was done.
Yet another song for me to project my trauma onto Especially the "how could i let this shit happen" cause as a victim of csa I understand feeling like you let it happen There's intense anger for the abuser but also feeling like its your fault it happened
Exactly you blame yourself then you compare your self to other victims and you think your exagerating then end up defending the abuser guilting your self thinking you deserved it, then your brain explains common sense and you dont guilt your self anymore but you cant truust others around youu like a sensenof inseuritiy.
i posted this on brain revolution girl but whatever i've connected this song with maretu's other recent works (note: this is just my interpretation, i have no idea of maretu intended to have them related or not), in the order scrumize, mind brand, disillusioned, packet hero, eraser girl, then brain revolution girl. (and yes, i know this is not the order that the songs were released, but like i said, this is just my interpretation) in scrumize, miku is dating an abusive boyfriend. she eventually finds the strength to break up with him, and sings of her resentment towards him in mind brand. because of the whole ordeal, her romantic feelings for anyone intimidate her. she falls in love with another person in disillusioned, but the fear lingers from her abusive relationship, and although she becomes friends with this person, she is unable to confess her romantic feelings. the friendship fades, and miku falls in love with gumi in packet hero. but she is very confused about what she wants to do, and whether gumi loves her back or not. her confusion causes her to break down and cry, but thankfully, she confesses to gumi and it works out. however, because this is a same-sex relationship, miku learns what homophobia feels like in eraser girl. gumi is driven to having suicidal thoughts, but miku, who is finally satisfied with her love life as well is deeply in love with gumi, is determined to not let her die. but she fails, as gumi attempts suicide at the end of the song. miku knows and attempts suicide with her. gumi dies, but miku survives and suffers from intense depression and mourning in brain revolution girl. now you can take it one of two ways. in this song, miku is either slowly driven to suicide, or is only alive because someone important to her (another lover, perhaps?) is attempting to show her that she has something to live for.
+Charcoal1002 It's possible, but unlikely that Brain Revolution Girl is related as it's part of a series having to do with numerous other Vocaloid artists. The series is called 'Jigokugata Ningen Doubutsuen' or 'Human Zoo of Hell'. Brain Revolution Girl was just his addition to the series. Again, it's possible that he did relate it to his other works.
craftedgirl wonderstruck yeah, i decided brain revolution girl doesn't fit with the story i made. but i honestly don't believe maretu intended to make a story with his songs, so it's totally understandable that you disagree. ^^
Another difficult song to translate. Like always with Maretu's songs I tried my best but am unsure if I fully captured everything. However, it is a very interpretation heavy song as Maretu's usually are. Anyway, enjoy!
Song is obviously about child abuse but what makes it even worse is that the bottom says “Imouto” meaning “little sister “ making this and Suji even more disturbing. This girl probably trusted her older brother (or sister) and he took advantage of that and her innocence. I went through CSA when I was a little girl but still love these songs , it can help some people cope, or do the opposite for some. WARNING GRAPHIC THEORY BELOW : From listening to both songs multiple times I think it goes like this >>> The little sister looks up to her older sibling and comes to them for advice, but they take advantage of that and starts giving unwanted advances to the young girl, the girl regrets trying to connect with her brother and blames herself for “letting it happen “ , she rejects the advances as best as she can but it becomes too much for her and she kills herself, then the disgusting brother is excited that she is dead because now she can no longer fight back and in Suji he plans to defile her corpse and… “finally” take her virginity . Obviously this story is very f**ked up and sadly these things do happen in real life which is just soo disturbing and people that do this I think deserve the death penalty but thats just me.
this is a pretty neat and horrifying theory,, i personally like to think that the victim hurts the abuser at the end (with the "don't make me touch you there")
Now we all agreed that the meaning of this song is a csa victim and is connected to koukatsu [ the meaning to this is unclear to me. ] and suji. [ abusers pov] but this song is honestly relatable for non csa victims. Maretu has their way with words to make a song relatable, even if it has a clear meaning that doesn't relate to you the lyrics themselves are really relatable. Maretu is amazing....
Koukatsu may be from the perspective of someone, a third party, who wanted the victim (Scrumize) to get back at their abuser (Suji), which is why Koukatsu has the same tune as the last parts of Suji and Scrumize. That's the only thing I can think of
the song doesnt even sound like it'd have nice sounding lyrics tbh, i dont really understand how people think a song isn't gonna have darker lyrics listening to the tone of Miku's voice and the beat.
Well I mean in the beginning it says "how did I let this shxt happen!?!" Like that should be a hint this song wouldn't be a nice (i mean like a happy song).

I believe that this takes place after white happy Like the person is being bullied or something and lets/wants the person in Suji take advantage of them because it all they really have. The line in White Happy "I'll become a ball of flesh" (or something like that) hints that they feel that they are being overly sexualised and objectified by the person in Suji. "Come take away my first place prize" is probably hinting towards virginity, probably meaning that they have gave in as the "second voice" (most likely representing the resistance to give in) goes away at this point. Just a thought (:
Holy hell. I've known Suji for a while and it's one of my fav songs from Maretu and now I've been doing a marathon to listen to the ones I haven't heard yet, and knowing how fucked up Suji is, lyric wise, it was disturbing hearing its instrumental at the end, I'm assuming that maybe the person talking in this song is the victim from Suji (since in Suji we have the pov of the predator), which, unironically, made my jaw drop. Maretu just really knows how to mess with your head with these fictional, yet real stories.
Honestly as someone who 1. Grew up being neurodivergent(i firmly believe i am autistic but i am still in the process of being diagnosed) and was emotionally parentified since i was young this song really speaks to me. Not knowing what emotions youre actually feeling, feeling like a numb shell, "borrowing useless words" like trying to describe your emotions the way youve been taught to describe them but its completely useless "i want you to let me apologise for the harsh dreams ive told you about" like feeling guilty for being the one venting to someone instead of being the comforters. Wanting to find someone secrets and having thousands of questions ahout their life so that you could get into their perspective and understand them
I love seeing other fans feel comforted by maretu’s music (and mostly lyrics) 🖤🖤I’m not diagnosed with anything but I have a lot of comfort songs that speak to me I was really sensitive and emotional growing up, I couldn’t understand my own feelings and everyone struggled to help me make sense of them too (I guess? Idk what I’m saying ) The only thing I was taught in society is that the only way to live is to suck it up and be happy, I had this fake happy shell until tragic things happened to me (I was barely 9…) and shattered it…but since I was taught to push bad feelings away I kept all this heartbreak and hatered at the world inside and it kept growing with me All that ofc made my brain a mess, and maretu is the one who helped me clean this mess a bit, the song that really did that to me is white happy, it finally made me realize that someone out there feels the same about the world and finally put these feelings into words I don’t think my love for maretu will ever be a phase 🖤🖤
"What are you, song kind of Hero of Justice?" Seen in Scrumize "The hero of justice is weeping tonight. (or smth along the lines of that)" Seen in Mind Brand Intresting.

If you sync Suji and Scrumzize which I did it seems like Srumize doesn't have that much rest while Suji does and almost like an argument were the girl in Scrumize is confronting them While in Suji hes or she is explaining their "love " for them and when it say "Don't make me touch you there!" In Suji it says "I want to touch you" thats all I could find :C But IMUOTO IN THE BOTTOM MEANS SISTER SO-
+Ammy Marie I think that this is supposed to be related to Suji, which would make sense, because a little sister would look young and in Suji the narrator mentions not being able to have someone because of their childish face. I think the songs might be a reflection of fantasy vs reality- in Suji, the narrator talks about their desires and wishes, as well as all of their dreams about what they might do to their little sister, but here it's more about how, in reality, even by just barely trying to get to that point with her would cause a great wall to come up between them, limiting the narrator from doing anything to them. It's also possible that the narrator from Suji was telling the little sister about the dreams he had of her, and so he ended up driving her away, and now was angry at himself for telling her about his fantasies as well as having them in the first place.
so I noticed on Suji's art there was a part that says "eye have you" and this song has "always watching me" so perhaps the two songs are a story about stalking or an abusive relationship. I mean I want to believe the theory they connect because of the piano part of suji playing at the end but Maretu could have just done it for the ablum.
Eye have you is actually another song in the fried eye album. It doesn't have lyrics though, just chorus. Not sure of always watching. [ sorry for a 4 year reply l
Whoa, thanks for the sub ! Just discovered that song on Nico Nico yesterday, but I'm already fond of it ! I think it's about a girl that is misunderstood or something. Maybe her friends or her boy/girlfriend expect her to be someone she isn't, but to not disappoint them she is acting like she is the person they expect her to be. And it hurts her. Or something like that. Or maybe that's about a victim of her boyfriend's abusive behaviour too. I love Maretu, you can interpret his songs in so many ways !
I think there is a link between suji, scrumize and koukatsu : suji seems like the attacker's point of view, scrumize being the victim's point of view and koukatsu maybe depicting two victims (bunny and pig) and one attacker/abuser (fox/kitsune)
My order of these (not true, probably, my thought) Adolescence, scrumize, suji, maegamist, dissolusioned, packet hero, mind brand, brain revolution girl
Attempted english karaoke lyrics: I wish to say a lot, o-o-o-of words to your face. For now, they'll stay in my heart. I'm drowning in this fate, that's pouring out of myself (that's pouring out of myself) These wishes of mine, ignored and kicked aside, and a goodbye to hello. It makes me hate myself-e-e-elf more. I-I-I've been beat down, but I kick that lie aside. "Everyone has pain, we have freedom." Something I don't know, is peeking out of my feet (is peeking out of my feet) I'm not suuuuure, but I got an idea. Something have been observing me. These useless words, borrowed and broken by me. Many "thank yous" to myself. Break and destroy my heart for me! I want to find secrets, break our hearts by seeping them. "Let's cut out a better reality for uuuuuuuuuuuss." I'm slowly rotting, stuck forever here. (Slowly dying) Why can't I smile? This sense of order de-grades. Put all my dreams into the place they belong. Stop the pain, stop the pain, stop the pain. Stop your eyes peeking at me! Cut and paste this scrambled relation. It's broken more and more everyday. At the least, at the least, at the least. I want to say sorry for the nightmares that I seeped to you! A thousand questions in my mind, but now I'll seal them inside. They're slowly spreading to my heart. Somehow opening it up. I'll slowly throw everything that I've ever valued. Just so that they can know what mud they are. My masochism is seeping to my-my heart. That's the fun part of falling in love. All these useless, forced invitations. What do you believe yourself to be? Some kind of hero, please. You're stuck in your own dream world. I guess I gave you my thoughts for nothing. You torture people, just to hear their cries. (A splendid show) No matter, no matter, what. Your blinded sense of justice is "true", lukewarm and bittersweet that you Give to me, give to me, give to me. Just to break me, a-gain. My words, are slowly cut up by fate. Atleast my moments won't be in vain. Stop the pain, stop the pain, stop the pain. Don't make me touch you in that special place. (note: i apologize if the lyrics are a bit janky, this is my first time)
I dont think the ones whos singing is the victim of Suji, but rather an ex of Sujis victim. Scrumize has a lot of questions about victims new partner(Suji), but they feel like they dont have a right to question it because they're an ex to victim and seals it all up in their mind. Eventually they did tell victim, but victim just told Scrumize to shut the hell up. Scrumize really WANTS to try to expose Suji, however he's not even sure if its true whatsoever. And then well- Suji did the deed, however Scrumize doesn't feel bad. Scrumize thinks its the victims fault for not listening to them and thinks that victim deserves it. But after the anger is gone, Scrumize tries not to feel guilty and tells himself it just doesn't matter, but he feels very guilty anyways. If only Scrumize didn't mess up their relationship, it would've never happen. And then victim decided to make it absolutely even worse. Victim blames Scrumize for all of this and BURNS his fking house down (crackling noises at the end), and scrumize dies. + also at 2:41, Scrumize might be talking about Koukatsu since it's about justice and stuff Edit : maybe they're someone questioning suji?? Might be sujis little sister idk
I do have a weird feeling about the melody that's both here and in suji. In suji after the melody the song keeps going but here it's the outro. I do have the feeling that the melody itself rappresents the act as if after the act for the victim there's nothing else but for the abuser life keeps going. Idk why i had this theory in my mind for this whole time.
i rlly like this song bc 2 things 1 iys hase a catchy tune and 2nd and wierdest i got a concosion(dont know how to spell it im dutch) and this song takes away almost all of the head pain
I was thinking about how the title is a nonsense word and what it could mean, and the Japanese romanization (sukurumaizu) could also be written as "screwmize" which is interesting
Is it just me, or does the end off the song sound like it was play a small part of Koukatsu? (this song ruclips.net/video/oEexpf-arg4/видео.html in case you're wondering)
Is no one talking about that "scrumize' has an oddly familiar sound of start sound "Darling " at 0:47, is it jus me thinking about maybe is there a connection here?
This is 6 months old but it looks like a peace sign that's broken. Maybe it resembles broken peace. Also, in Suji, the drawing flipped upside down is a severed peace sign.

I think
maretu has such a weird way with words

@@punk7656 agreed. after getting used to maretu, kikuo's work sounds like it's all about some infant who wants to be loved and likes to eat shit tbh..
They're saying MARETU has a better way with words, or at least a more distinct way.

Honestly this song feels linked to Suji, and I'm pretty sure Suji is about pedophilia or something, so it would make sense
Like suji is the pedos pov and scrumize victims pov
Edit: oh yeah the bit at the end is in suji too
aaaand since i left a comment on suji
this song is why i dont see suji as glorifying csa. i can rly relate 2 it, it absolutely describes what a lot of csa survivors/victims go through. self-blaming, feeling like you cant tell anyone, tht guilt, fear, etc. suji is simply the abusers pov. this is the victims.

neither suji nor scrumize paint a pretty picture at all. just because it's an enjoyable song doesn't mean it's glorifying it, the best art is made from pain.

Instead I hear Koukatsu, but in Suji there also is a part that sounds like Koukatsu's tune
I think suji and scrumize are connected with koukatsu
yes, I love that part too. It's so menacing leading to Suji.
And the last part of this song sound like that disturbing noise from the last part of Coin Locker Baby
wait..... this song and suji are connected.... and it says "imouto" at the bottom there....... oh no
Oh no
Oh no
Oh yes

A really random thought I had about this song
I have a really strong feeling that this song's linked to suji, the real ice breaker for me is the piano bit, the same melody in suji (3:23) and the phrases in the songs feel connected.
Koukatsu: am I a joke to u blud
Hmmm... I wonder if MARETU and Kikuo made a song?
It would be heaven!
+Sakura Chan It would be hell! >:3
the spirit of abysmal despair Jeffrey Zhang So kind of heavell? :3
Wasn't Brain Revolution Girl made by Maretu? The lyrics were made by Kikuo and Reol and ill.bell made a cover on it. :3
+Mimzy kikuo didn't make the lyrics to brain revolution girl, maretu did. i don't think they've ever collaborated with each other, sadly :(
I always love looking in the comment section to these kind of songs - it's cool to see the theories and interpretations each person has on it ^^
Same!

Yes.
Yet another song for me to project my trauma onto
Especially the "how could i let this shit happen" cause as a victim of csa I understand feeling like you let it happen
There's intense anger for the abuser but also feeling like its your fault it happened
Exactly you blame yourself then you compare your self to other victims and you think your exagerating then end up defending the abuser guilting your self thinking you deserved it, then your brain explains common sense and you dont guilt your self anymore but you cant truust others around youu like a sensenof inseuritiy.
yea
this message is practically worthless, but i hope you all feel better after one year, and three months, respectively.
@@Damascene_ honestly i really appreciate it. It might seem worthless but it means a lot ♡
Sorry for asking, what does csa stand for?
i posted this on brain revolution girl but whatever
i've connected this song with maretu's other recent works (note: this is just my interpretation, i have no idea of maretu intended to have them related or not), in the order scrumize, mind brand, disillusioned, packet hero, eraser girl, then brain revolution girl. (and yes, i know this is not the order that the songs were released, but like i said, this is just my interpretation)
in scrumize, miku is dating an abusive boyfriend. she eventually finds the strength to break up with him, and sings of her resentment towards him in mind brand. because of the whole ordeal, her romantic feelings for anyone intimidate her. she falls in love with another person in disillusioned, but the fear lingers from her abusive relationship, and although she becomes friends with this person, she is unable to confess her romantic feelings. the friendship fades, and miku falls in love with gumi in packet hero. but she is very confused about what she wants to do, and whether gumi loves her back or not. her confusion causes her to break down and cry, but thankfully, she confesses to gumi and it works out. however, because this is a same-sex relationship, miku learns what homophobia feels like in eraser girl. gumi is driven to having suicidal thoughts, but miku, who is finally satisfied with her love life as well is deeply in love with gumi, is determined to not let her die. but she fails, as gumi attempts suicide at the end of the song. miku knows and attempts suicide with her. gumi dies, but miku survives and suffers from intense depression and mourning in brain revolution girl. now you can take it one of two ways. in this song, miku is either slowly driven to suicide, or is only alive because someone important to her (another lover, perhaps?) is attempting to show her that she has something to live for.
+Charcoal1002 You sir (madam) are a Gentleman (Lady) and a scholar.
+Mattaku i doubt maretu actually intended for his works to be related, i just like to interpret them that way c:
Man, this just don't add up. And Brain Revolution Girl was made for an album with the "-something- Girl" theme
craftedgirl wonderstruck yeah, i decided brain revolution girl doesn't fit with the story i made. but i honestly don't believe maretu intended to make a story with his songs, so it's totally understandable that you disagree. ^^
interesting! kind of seems like the evolution of someone's emotions as they deal with an abusive relationship? but maretu's maretu; nobody knows.
index Ain't that the truth.
Another difficult song to translate. Like always with Maretu's songs I tried my best but am unsure if I fully captured everything. However, it is a very interpretation heavy song as Maretu's usually are. Anyway, enjoy!
+FreedomT1 subs i know what its about

REAL
Song is obviously about child abuse but what makes it even worse is that the bottom says “Imouto” meaning “little sister “ making this and Suji even more disturbing. This girl probably trusted her older brother (or sister) and he took advantage of that and her innocence. I went through CSA when I was a little girl but still love these songs , it can help some people cope, or do the opposite for some.
WARNING GRAPHIC THEORY BELOW :
From listening to both songs multiple times I think it goes like this >>> The little sister looks up to her older sibling and comes to them for advice, but they take advantage of that and starts giving unwanted advances to the young girl, the girl regrets trying to connect with her brother and blames herself for “letting it happen “ , she rejects the advances as best as she can but it becomes too much for her and she kills herself, then the disgusting brother is excited that she is dead because now she can no longer fight back and in Suji he plans to defile her corpse and… “finally” take her virginity . Obviously this story is very f**ked up and sadly these things do happen in real life which is just soo disturbing and people that do this I think deserve the death penalty but thats just me.
this is a pretty neat and horrifying theory,, i personally like to think that the victim hurts the abuser at the end (with the "don't make me touch you there")
HOW DID I LET THIS SH*T HAPPEN!?
+Bloxxy Natalie it's the lyrics at the start of the song
And then it plays the intro to Suji...are the songs related? Im sure they are.
They are, Scrumize is from the abused's point of view and Suji is from the abuser's point of view
It was I...DIO!! They are definitely related
It was I...DIO!! Dectective Dio.

NO BECAUSE THE ENDING SOUNDS LIKE KOUKATSU WHY IS NOBODY TALKING ABOUT THAT?
Koukatsu may be from the perspective of someone, a third party, who wanted the victim (Scrumize) to get back at their abuser (Suji), which is why Koukatsu has the same tune as the last parts of Suji and Scrumize. That's the only thing I can think of

I believe that this takes place after white happy
Like the person is being bullied or something and lets/wants the person in Suji take advantage of them because it all they really have.
Just a thought (:
also it says "Hero of Justice"
that is also in Mind Brand's lyrics
so this is probably connected to mind brand
Maretu just really knows how to mess with your head with these fictional, yet real stories.
dang that ending... creepy and eerie as hell
Wanting to find someone secrets and having thousands of questions ahout their life so that you could get into their perspective and understand them
I love seeing other fans feel comforted by maretu’s music (and mostly lyrics) 🖤🖤I’m not diagnosed with anything but I have a lot of comfort songs that speak to me
I was really sensitive and emotional growing up, I couldn’t understand my own feelings and everyone struggled to help me make sense of them too (I guess? Idk what I’m saying )
The only thing I was taught in society is that the only way to live is to suck it up and be happy, I had this fake happy shell until tragic things happened to me (I was barely 9…) and shattered it…but since I was taught to push bad feelings away I kept all this heartbreak and hatered at the world inside and it kept growing with me
All that ofc made my brain a mess, and maretu is the one who helped me clean this mess a bit, the song that really did that to me is white happy, it finally made me realize that someone out there feels the same about the world and finally put these feelings into words
I don’t think my love for maretu will ever be a phase 🖤🖤

I agree, I love it too, koukatsu is one of my favorite maretu songs
If you sync Suji and Scrumzize which I did it seems like Srumize doesn't have that much rest while Suji does and almost like an argument were the girl in Scrumize is confronting them While in Suji hes or she is explaining their "love " for them and when it say "Don't make me touch you there!" In Suji it says "I want to touch you" thats all I could find :C But IMUOTO IN THE BOTTOM MEANS SISTER SO-
Fr listening to this one repeat.
3:24 is my favorite part. i cant stop listening to it.
Its the main melody of koukatsu and it also appears in suji
@@fingersinyourass9527 yeah Koukatsu just appeared on my recommend and it like it too.
Also.. I just noticed, why is "imouto" written in the picture? isn't that little sister?
+Ammy Marie I think that this is supposed to be related to Suji, which would make sense, because a little sister would look young and in Suji the narrator mentions not being able to have someone because of their childish face. I think the songs might be a reflection of fantasy vs reality- in Suji, the narrator talks about their desires and wishes, as well as all of their dreams about what they might do to their little sister, but here it's more about how, in reality, even by just barely trying to get to that point with her would cause a great wall to come up between them, limiting the narrator from doing anything to them.
It's also possible that the narrator from Suji was telling the little sister about the dreams he had of her, and so he ended up driving her away, and now was angry at himself for telling her about his fantasies as well as having them in the first place.
oi oi oi
this shit is deep like I've always thought
this song is the exact backstory of an oc i have, its incredible because ive loved maretu for YEARS
the melody from suji at the end gave me chills
One of my favourite vocaloid songs at the moment.
I'm so in love with this song
so I noticed on Suji's art there was a part that says "eye have you" and this song has "always watching me" so perhaps the two songs are a story about stalking or an abusive relationship.
I mean I want to believe the theory they connect because of the piano part of suji playing at the end but Maretu could have just done it for the ablum.
That piano part is the chorus of Koukatsu.
Eye have you is actually another song in the fried eye album. It doesn't have lyrics though, just chorus. Not sure of always watching. [ sorry for a 4 year reply l
Isn't that last piano tune from his other song, Suji?
This song and Suji is connected, imo

Whoa, thanks for the sub ! Just discovered that song on Nico Nico yesterday, but I'm already fond of it ! I think it's about a girl that is misunderstood or something. Maybe her friends or her boy/girlfriend expect her to be someone she isn't, but to not disappoint them she is acting like she is the person they expect her to be. And it hurts her. Or something like that. Or maybe that's about a victim of her boyfriend's abusive behaviour too. I love Maretu, you can interpret his songs in so many ways !
Villan pfp spotted

I think this is the victims point of view in suji
Yet another song that I love headbanging to , but I shouldn't---
I just love MARETU's vocaloid songs
I think there is a link between suji, scrumize and koukatsu : suji seems like the attacker's point of view, scrumize being the victim's point of view and koukatsu maybe depicting two victims (bunny and pig) and one attacker/abuser (fox/kitsune)

(A splendid show)
No matter, no matter, what.
Your blinded sense of justice is "true", lukewarm and bittersweet that you
Give to me, give to me, give to me.
Just to break me, a-gain.
My words, are slowly cut up by fate.
Atleast my moments won't be in vain.
Stop the pain, stop the pain, stop the pain.
Don't make me touch you in that special place.

3:22 - MARETU Slams His Head on The Piano pt2
it's actually from another song of his, Koukatsu
@@moemoethecoolest It's also from suji!
+ also at 2:41, Scrumize might be talking about Koukatsu since it's about justice and stuff
Edit : maybe they're someone questioning suji?? Might be sujis little sister idk
I do have a weird feeling about the melody that's both here and in suji. In suji after the melody the song keeps going but here it's the outro. I do have the feeling that the melody itself rappresents the act as if after the act for the victim there's nothing else but for the abuser life keeps going. Idk why i had this theory in my mind for this whole time.
THE ENDING SOUNDS LIKE KOUKATSU WHY IS NOBODY TALKING ABOUT THAT?

@@confusedaf1112 What did he say?
This song would be perfect with distant police sirens at the end
THE KOUKATSU CAMEO AT THE END
Koukatsu, suji, Scrumize.... Hmmmm
I was thinking about how the title is a nonsense word and what it could mean, and the Japanese romanization (sukurumaizu) could also be written as "screwmize" which is interesting
melhor musica
この曲好き〜❤声がいい!透き通っててかっこいい!発音がすき!
Hearing suji at the end surprised me. 3:23
Also koukatsu!
_How did I let this shxt happen?_
koukatsu at the end 😳
Is “suji” from the pedophile/rapist’s point of view while this is the other persons point of view :0
yes it is ^^

Forgive me for the idiotic act.
@gh0zttt something something old comment from three years ago. -_-
Is it just me, or does the end off the song sound like it was play a small part of Koukatsu? (this song ruclips.net/video/oEexpf-arg4/видео.html in case you're wondering)
the three songs Suji, Scrumize, and Koukatsu are connected through leitmotifs ^^
i’m starting to think Maretu has gone through some pretty bad stuff-
RIP songs on Hazuki's channel... D-'x
Hey maretu…have you ever heard of something called therapy
Maretu, have you heard of something called the "furry fandom"?
Is no one talking about that "scrumize' has an oddly familiar sound of start sound "Darling " at 0:47, is it jus me thinking about maybe is there a connection here?
and white happy in the beginning
I think I like maretu's music so much because I can relate to it.
Ahhh, back to the days when I never actually read the English lyrics. (I mean I still figured the songs were dark somehow but not like this xD)
Can anybody please tell me what the thumbnail of the song resembles?
It looks kinda like a temperature gauge on an oven or something
Maybe it's just me, but I think it looks like iron sights
This is 6 months old but it looks like a peace sign that's broken. Maybe it resembles broken peace. Also, in Suji, the drawing flipped upside down is a severed peace sign.
@@HiroKuro oh that makes much sense. thank you!
good work
does anyone else hear weird noises at the end of the song? im pretty sure everyone heard the weird noises at the end.
Pretty sure that was koukatsu or suji
@@gladossolos9190 I think it was scrumise, I didn’t hear any disturbing noises at the end of koukatsu or suji.
You mean the gore slithering?
