It's fireball attack may reuse the assets used when deploying mines in your aircraft --- since you can't drop the little spike ball in air, devs gave you a little green toxic gas cloud that lingers. I believe this is a green colored fire asset. So by the time you get to the Dragon boss, you're used to seeing that "fire" asset as fart clouds
I love the zoom in Diddy's face when he slips while trying to use the turbo in that snow level xD... For some reason, i keep laughing at the noise he makes when he loses to the octopus boss. 32:47 It sounds like typical anger and frustration, but it ends on a rather high pitched tone which makes it better than normal for me xD
Bruh, I hate that Octopus... I'm pretty good at this game, but that second race with Octopus is so fucking cheap and it's the only race I ever really need to keep restarting on... Every other boss I can beat on my first try, but this fucker can go straight to Hell.
Yes, you get the golden balloons when you win first place in each race, you need a certain amount of balloons to enter a new race, it's like the star powers in Mario 64 etc.
The only other instance of it i can find is his Twilight Princess streams. During the City In The Sky dungeon, he was yanking the Oocoos off of the walls using the clawshot, saying their neck meat was very terse. That stream took place before this, and it was right after Twilight Princess HD came out, so i can only assume that's what he's referencing

He actually learned to unpress the A during boost during the first wizpig race. he also learned that tapping A make the car go faster there too.
