Never thought of doing a “photographer’s favorite” folder. Such a great idea! Your tips are always so helpful! Thank you!

Glad it was helpful!
This was so helpful! Thank you so much! I'm a senior and family photographer and will be implementing some of this into my gallery workflow. Fabulous! 👌🏼

I recognize that couple! LOL I know you said we would see them on All access! I cannot wait!
Yes!! Get excited!
I love this SO much and I'm so excited to implement it. Thank you!!! I have a silly questions- are these photographer favorite images also included in the folders following it? Meaning, is there a duplicate file placed in the folder of the event it occurs in or does it only appear once at the top? Thanks Katelyn!
Loooooooooooved this !!!!
Thanks for watching!

I really need to work on creating sub folders and having sub folders in my Galleries! One thing I loved about PASS Galleries was the ability to color code photos into categories. Long story short, I’ve been using Pixieset for years, love them! One thing I wish would be easier is folders, like color codes to have images in multiple categories, especially to share with vendors, versus having to upload the same image to multiple folders if desired. Sorry for rambling here but I’m adding this project to my list!
You can copy images from the same gallery to different sets in pixieset. You can even export directly from Lightroom to pixiset, so if you want to, you could create the folder from within Lightroom and then creating a separate gallery for the vendors.

UGH! The colors of this wedding are my dream wedding! 🤩Question!- Does your "Katelyn's Favorites" folder only have vertical images or do you include horizontal too? I know vertical images just stack very well in this application. Also, how long does it take you to curate your images for this folder? For me it always takes way too long! Looking for ways to make it more efficient.
Not always! I would say 30 mins to go through each sub folder.
So helpful! I'm work now on a wedding gallery and when I deliver I'm doing to this
Thanks for watching!
Do you set the "Kaytlyns Favories" before you upload? Or do you go through and "heart" your favorites? Also do you curate in cloudspot or outside of cloudspot?
I select Katelyns favorites in Lightroom. I sort to sub folders in Photo Mechanic
Do you have a public link to your Cloudspot portfolio that we can see or do you only publicize on your main website?
Thanks for watching!
Question…when you make your folders and upload, is this on your external drive? Then use photomechanic then export to LR? Yup I have the consistency course!
Yes external hard drive! amzn.to/3IjydVt this drive to be exact
how long do you give your clients their online gallery? (since there is limited storage) and how do you tell them they only have an online gallery for a certain limited time? id be scared to tell them they have this for only 1 year or something.. idk lol
Over a year!
Loved this video! But how do you get your images shown at the very beginning of this video to appear like so? Mine are always on different lines, if that makes sense.
I am not sure I understand.
@@KatelynJames lol my apologies but how do you get the photos on all the rows all on one line? Mine are staggered throughout the gallery.
Hopefully I''m not too late to comment, but would you still divide your gallery into multiple folders if you just do family portraits and their total number of images is only 200? I do send a "My favorites" folder, but wondering if I should divide it up further?
No that is what I do for Engagement sessions... Katelyn's favorites, and then everything else!
Clouds pot vs pixieset. Any thoughts?
We love cloudspot....have never used pixieset!
2 hours late, but I’m here now lol
Thanks for watching!
Always be selling. Life is an infomercial.
I average between 350-400 of images to deliver. But I’m in the $2,000 range tho 😅
Thanks for watching!!
Thank you Katelyn! Love these tips! 🔥🔥
Glad you like them!
