hi Daniel my dad has been washing fleet trucks for about 30 years he uses a pre soap pump it is a pump that runs off of 110 it works pretty good we don't run no soak through the pressure washer there is no need we have it hooked to a 55 gallon drum that is pre-mixed but I like the set up that you have we use alkota pressure washers I keep up the good work and thanks for the videos
Where I work we just use a good ole mitt and a bucket of soap and water after it's been power washed. I think it's better for all of the areas that aren't so visible.

Using the wrong tip to wash with need a more narrow spray the tip you use is better for rinsing also lifting the hood makes it easy to get in fenders and top of hood ;) Not a noob I've been washing for 6 years
Tip size is all preference. what works for you others might not like. Some like 15 degree, others, 25 or 40 degree. The wider the fan spray the faster you can rinse off. Downfall if you have stubborn areas like bugs are so in high areas the smaller degree fan spray works better
Daniel Rodgers I agree to your statement but the tip you seem to be using is not a 40 degree rather instead looks like a 60-65 degree. Is it custom made or bought from somewhere?
Prabhroop Chatha I noticed this is your second time asking so I was curious if you know how to refer to a nozzle chart? If you do why not just put 650 in front of your orifice size and buy your nozzle already.
I used to own a fleet washing business washed t about 350 to 400 trucks a month with two other guys they'll make you reclaim that water where you're at that's a big fine
Hey man any chance we can get a link to the products you use here and perhaps that foam tip? I’m sure many would appreciate it! Great job brother big thumbs up from me
How much do you charge? I’m about to sell my truck and come off the road due to having my first kid. I know it’s a sad day 😐 but I am wanting to still work with big trucks and do something like this. I wouldn’t know what to charge though. 50 bucks a trailer wash out? Another 50 bucks for the truck? Give owner operators a discount?
Shit, I'd say do owner ops for free and charge company trucks $300 a pop. just look at how much lumpers charge to unload.. but really, charge at least $50 a tractor and $45 a trailer..
@Jrob2KMusic a basic pressure wash is worthless......I charge 155.00 nowadays for a decent top to bottom wash, including wheel cleaning. Takes around 2 hours to do right.
I was told HF acid damaged windshield glass? I'm new to the whole semi truck end of detailing. May I ask what name brands you use (soap and acid) Too many to choose from. Thanks
SCOTT HUFF I don't know if you ever got your questions answered, but give hydro-chem a call....they'll be able to help you out with all those chemicals two-step fleet wash.....just google hydrochem systems....they're based out of Michigan
I agree with Mario they have good soaps. HF acid can mess up glass if you let it dry on their. The important thing is not let it dry and when you go back over it with soap it will neutralize that from happening. So if it’s real hot outside you might just have to do parts of the truck at a time.
nice job...don't even respond to those who are negative...y'all did a good job and I'm in the mobile business also...nevertheless, where can i get acid from for sale? And what is the ratio for both acid and citrus?
Simeon Ginyard I don't know if you got your questions answered, but give hydro-chem a call...they got all your soap two-step solutions ....they're are based in Michigan

Daniel Rodgers hi there Daniel, I have a good sized fleet wash company here in the Central Valley in California. I was wondering what is the type of acid that you use? Also what is the type of soap you use since we use soap from hotsy. Hope to hear from you soon. Thank you.
Daniel Rodgers more importantly what degree is that wide nozzle at and where did you buy it from? I would really appreciate it if I could be told about it. Thank you.

Hey daniel, if watched your videos a few times I'm brand new to the industry just bought my first trailer and iv been having hell with my service technicians to set the trailer up the way I want it. Is there any way we could get in contact with eachother and take a few minutes of your time, and you could give me a few pointers/advice. It would be much appreciated.
no, these chemicals neutralize the surface getting all the debris off of them. there is a whole science behind it. This isn't your ordinary foam cannon, these are chemicals with alot of R&D put into them.
yeah i hate brushing. Normally do when we first take on an account but then two step it after that with good acid and soap so you can get by for several months until you have to brush again.
Waste of time soaking twice with soap I soak with water and my guys scrub the trucks If you had to do construction or paving companies you would probably do less than 10 teucks a day using this method That truck was clean before starting the rinse
I thought they did pretty good job for a semi including I drive trucks like that for construction and my old dually pulling truck is impossible to clean, and I do also detail so.....it takes me much much longer
This is crap and I wouldn't pay 25 dollars for that. He's just soaping it down and pressure washing. That's not even a real cleaning. Plus his hose is way too long. My system has much better results. Good try though.
That’s a nice Pete. I would drive that thing till the wheels fell off. He’s a good man keeping it clean!

Doesn’t even wash the hood properly. Doesn’t wash under the fenders.
But absolutely FILLS the air cleaners with the pressure washer. 👌🏻

Good stuff! Did you do an engine clean, too? The truck seemed to turn out rather clean an$ sparkling. 🤩
do you have to have a hot water pressure washer or it doesn't matter if it's a hot or cold pressure washer?
Leslie Williams no you don't it just helps the cleaning process
How much do you usually charge per truck?
So you don't have to wash the roof or areas where you can't see from the ground ?
So the acid used is a citric acid ?
What do you use acid for?
Wash like that cost ? Thx
That 3406 (c-15) sitting in that bad boy though. 👍
