If you're a real estate photographer, you're most likely not going to be shooting a property at sunrise, daytime, and sunset. But for an amazing home like this and a big budget...GET ERRR DONE! Footage looks awesome!
Amen, also a lot of agents don't have the budget (or so they claim) to afford the time to have you come back, so I shoot broad daylight at 1pm usually.
@@johnnyfive-bc That fully depends on the property and what the clients want. Most of the time, a REP is going to be capturing photography as well. Maybe a 3D tour or floorplan too. And some properties call for (and agents also desire) some blue skies and more sun on certain parts of the house. So I'd also recommend either starting 1.5-2 hours prior to sunset and maybe do a split shoot where you do a 10am shoot, then come back 30 minutes prior to sunset :) Charge accordingly
It's good to see these types of RE videos still exist. Simple push-ins that really let you view the property. The new age seems to be really focusing on speed ramps and 1-second glimpses of items that usually aren't included in the property, along with more speed ramps and spins.
I shoot with an R5 C for most of my shoots- hands down one of the best cameras I've ever used. Highly recommended for those of you who want to get a camera you will never need to replace 😏👌🏻
I've followed your ways since your first real estate video you posted 4 years ago. Since then, I have made over $400k in residential real estate videography thanks to you! Appreciate what you do for us!
@@climber950 For sure - right around $110k every year - because of parkers methods, clients love my own twist/style. 3-4 retainers paying for $4k a month
Wish there was an option to click the like button more than once, simply because of all the technical info in this video. To me personally, this type of video from a real assignment for a paying client, COMBINED with all the camera settings and technical info, is way better than a normal review where just specs and numbers are compared. Because it's when you're out there doing real stuff that you encounter things and situations you cannot prepare for. More stuff like this! 👍
I’ve been in his full courses for a long time. I don’t regret one bit of it. He’s always updating the full course with more content if you purchased the entire packages and you have the option to get additional courses as added
I am part of the full FTF Course since I started my business and never ever regret it! Those kind of videos give so much value even without the course and I couldnt beliefe that the course itself can add any more value than the free videos have already, but I was wrong - this video coaching and the full FTF course was the best choice I ever made and till today I am more than happy about it, specially because the lifelong membership gives me access to all new contents...and it is soo much and getting still better and better! :) So straight from my heart thank you for your great work and all starting filmmakers, go for it :)
2 months for a new video? You bet I'm waiting, cuz I'm here for it every time. These videos (and FTF) are legit the best coaching and tips for anyone wanting to improve their work - both professionally or as a serious hobbyist. Also, St George is an amazing place...
I will buy this course one day. And i mean the ENTIRE thing. I've been watching these guys for awhile now and the sheer amount of useful, relevant information in these "condensed" videos is crazy. Compared to another course i bought, this is THE FILMMAKING COURSE to get. I don't see how the others can compare. Props to you guys.
I got the course about 3 years ago and it's absolutely worth it. I didn't even know there was a market for real estate videos until I took the course and now I do real estate full time. Thank you Parker.
I was a die hard Sony fan, but recently switch to Canon and bought the R5C. Couldn't be more happier with this hybrid camera! As a photographer AND videographer, I didn't want to bring two cameras when shooting. I love doing both on set and this is the answer in my opinion. And with the new firmware update, it is quite fast now to switch between modes (photo/video). Better AF, new digital teleconversion, better battery life, etc.
I absolutely love those shots! As a real estate video creative, one aspect that consistently drives me crazy is perfecting the appearance of the bed sheets, pillows, and other minute details. They tend to make me go a little crazy!
Thank you for your video. It helped me what to pay attention to when recording rooms. Indeed, it is always good to wait for a good light. A basic principle that the client does not always understand. You're doing a good job and I look forward to more. Greetings from Poland.
Wow! Dude, I just stumbled on your channel. I am deeply glad I found your channel. I have got a lot to learn from you. I am a realtor (real estate agent) based in Nigeria. I am new in this industry and I believe your content will be a great help to me. Thank you so much, sir.
I have been watching your content for a few years now, and you never disappoint me in providing a useful tips in a great format. keep up the good work and I hope you all the best
Epic video man! As someone that runs a luxury real estate photo/video business in Houston, this was awesome to watch. I've always been super interested in the R5C, I went with the R6 mark ii and use the RS3 Mini with the 15-35. Minimal lighter setup since I do a lot of volume on a weekly basis. Quality difference is insane, and the edit was great! Personally,I would've loved to see detail shots to break up the wide shots. I zoom in to 35mm and use crop mode to replicate a 50mm look to avoid switching lenses. Epic job dude!
Finally a video with someone using an R5C Rig for Real Estate! I have a similar R5C/RS3Pro rig, with an external monitor and external battery. I use a dummy battery so I can hit trigger record button on the RS3 pro. I agree that moving to 8k 60fps will open more options than XFAVC. But @ 8k raw @ 60fps, the R5C will not work with the dummy battery. So the only way to record is to connect directly to the external battery? Then I have to hit the record button directly on the camera, causing a bit of extra camera shake time.
Same i have the R5 C and RS3 Pro combo, i shoot at 4K for real estate. Shot many hotels, resorts, restaurants etc. You can use Kondor blue dummy battery to C type, where you can buy FXlion nano one and connect to it where raw 8k 60fps will work.
@@SkyPathProductions I was doing for a hospitality company which was running hotels n resorts in my country and for a marketing agency. Currently im out of projects and got some pending payments. Searching for other works.
Yeah this is one of the best videos especially for me because I just bought the R5C! I actually watched it last night and I'm coming back to watch it again. I was holding my DJI gimbal all night at a wedding Saturday and those handles are going to save my life.
Everything I've learned about filmmaking, I've learned from your course. Mainly I do real estate video, man thanks for a great job and sharing your knowledge.

Parker certianly made shooting real estate videos look easy! But being a real estate videographer myself, you seriously need to have strong biceps, forearm muscles, quads and stamina to film
I feel like Parker should review and use Canon R3 given the fact that he’s coming from 1DX Markii user. Possibly he will love more on R3 and R5 C since the battery life is so different.
Great video, noticed that unlike earlier videos this time you dint apply much treatment for blown out windows and desaturated sky. Learned a lot as always. Thanks.
Oh man! that was awesome! You don't know how much I've learned with this video, definitely I'll subscribe for a course. The other thing I'm interested in, are interviews, I would want to know how to make them. I have other questions, which battery is it and which arm is it? the one you put on gimbal
I do lots of Real Estate videos myself... I think I was the most surprised with zero drone shots or close ups of key features of this house which are huge selling points for any listing. But you're trying to push a camera and a course, so I get it, lol! Very interested in the quality of the camera. Workflow is also a big factor afterwards with the size of these files...
Canon R5C. I just want to say just in case any Canon reps read this comment by crazy chance. It would pretty much be the perfect camera and I would get it. If it had a full HDMI. Just saying. Just starting the video but I know it'll be good because all your videos are good.
Excellent shoot! Now do one with a poorly lit property and a lower agent budget. What are everyone’s thoughts on only using available light vs adding lights?
Peter and every videographer i see, all their recordings are perfectly centered. What perfection is that. Is only me because when i recrd im always slightly left and then slightly right etc.Never continious as frame.. Is this something to do on record and needs experience or it is a matter of post processing ? Their hands look so perfectly balanced.
