Before converting to a DynaTail, can you soften the shocks like you said, grab a better seat, etc. first? Would be fun to watch you take it to the edge before throwing in the towel. As a viewer, not a stunt rider.
After I saw your video, just went and ordered a 2 into 1 cobra exhaust and a T bar for my 2002 deuce softail.
Have some old mid controls from a sporster left in a box. I know a shop that will make them fit.
It already has a full S&S 509 cam plate installed and a Mikuni HSR42 carburetor.
So the power is there.
Just want to build a better handling street bike.
You guys came with the inspiration I needed.

ive gotten my Twin Cam Deuce up to about 10 o clock before, you can definitely get them up there but they do NOT feel good when you get the front end high up 😂

I used to get my 06 night train to sit down wheelie up all the time... I never tried it any other way.

I've had people ask me if I can wheelie my twin cam Fatboy that has 16 inch ape hangers and I tell them no. like you said it would be one of those holy shit moments.

The fact that it got off the ground is impressive to me. I didn’t think these twin cam softails could do that.
Me neither honestly, if I tried a little harder, I think I could get it up. It just doesn’t feel very good when it’s up there.
Lowrider S can do wheelies with stock gearing. Ask me how I know.

A guy traded a 2005 night train soft tail in on a street glide special last year, and I decided to do a little to it before putting it out on the floor.
We went through the whole motor,oil pump, rings bearings. Well we already had a 103 conversion kit in stock so we used it, and then we did the
screaming eagle heavy breath air filter and power commander, swing arm, saddlemen seat, and thrashin risers and handlebars and foot pegs. I basically built it the way I would want it to be, if I was going to go out and get one.
After it was done I decided to take it out for a test ride, and damn if I didn't start bringing it up more and more until finally I was going through the gears while riding on the back wheel. My salesman who is about the same age as me, started hollering you're going to hurt yourself and the bike if you keep on. I just sold it last week and damn, if I don't have one of the biggest cases of sellers remorse. Let another one come in, and I'll leave it alone. Hahaha

Definitely not weird, the bagger has real suspension and good geometry, its just a full size fxr. twincam softy suspension is just trash
