@@mattybrunolucaszeneresalas9072 As mentioned, those two lines were not included, and the tone they choose while still pushy and demanding from the pink troll, goes from bratty and entitled to aggressive and demanding with a mix of loud angry frustration when she asks why won't he sing, and Branch goes from being dismissive to being outright angry and directly with telling her he won't do it before finally bursting when he tell her singing got his grandma killed (it's doesn't say "singing killed her", it's a small but notable difference), following that he has a tone closer to someone who's unhappy about their outburst and ashamed about it but still angry instead of getting sad+vulnerable like in the Eng dub (he still starts sounding sadder as he tells the story, but it's a progression instead of a cut from one thing to another). So... Yeah. In other words they're being a lot more dramatic with it

I feel like the audience has changed between trolls 1-2 I've seen a lot more adults enjoy trolls because of the 3rd movie and even teens ages 15-17 liked the movie I guess it just really depends
Cute and Kawaii stuff is more ingrained into Japanese culture than western culture. Cute stuff is not necessarily only for younger audiences or embarrassing. Of course there's also a strong sense of what's adult and serious but it's more for work environments, with the cute and kawaii possibly being an escape from that.
To be fair, the western culture loves shounen anime like Naruto, fire force, and Hero Academia. That's aimed towards preteen and teenage boys. Adults in Japan loving cute things is fine
