At this point, I'm sure I've watched episode 10 of MyGO more times than any other episode of television... ever. This insightful essay does it justice, shedding light on things I still hadn't picked up on. Well done!
Last October 12 and 13 at Ayala Malls TriNoma in Manila Philippines for the Bushiroad EXPO 2024, I was fortunate to meet one of the members of the real-life Japanese all-female rock band called MyGO!!!!! the band's rhythm guitarist and the seiyuu for Chihaya Anon from BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!! the lovely Tateishi Rin-chan in the autograph sessions at the event and the crazy part is the autograph sessions are limited to 30 people and are won via lottery kinda of like a gacha that you have to get a number from 1- 30, the fact that I've got a slot for both days is just pure luck, and it still feel so surreal that I didn't just beat the odds but I also managed to meet her in person both days and I swear I just can't explain how beautiful and radiant she is and probably one of the nicest people I've ever met, she's so nice, friendly, and she really is such a sweetheart and I swear once I finally moved to Japan, MyGO!!!!! will be one of those bands that I will going to watch perform live.
Fantastic video breaking down Ayana's masterpiece! It's always a delight realizing more small things that makes up this show's meticulous writing. The surprise is that there's always more even after getting inundated with them daily on mygotwt, especially from a certain diehard (affectionate) TakiTomo shipper. Like that part about Raana knowing Taki and Tomori needing each other. And the TakiAnon crumb in form of Anon's panda-themed bandaid. Always happy to hear more, thanks for this wonderful video!
Man, you deserve more views and subscribers! Only after watching your video did I realize the contrast between the dazzling summer sunlight and the grey clouds. Bangdreamers are using microscopes to analyze this show! I'm looking forward to more of your analysis on Ave Mujica after it comes out 👍👍👍
Awesome essay, I love hunting little details in this show and I never noticed the significance of Anon's band-aids being plain instead of colored. There's always something new! If you do an Ave Mujica video you could mention the gears hidden throughout the show - on instruments, Tomori's phone, even the shadow of Mutsumi's skirt in ep 12

@@EBDiMartino Her lockscreen in e.g. ep 3 is stars (MyGO symbol) and asteroids - but the asteroids all have 8 bumps, the same as the 8-tooth gear logo on e.g. umiri/mutsumi's instruments in ep 9!
I keep telling people that MyGo is a fkn masterpiece; it's like watching a whole movie with perfect direction Atleast watch it once in lifetime Now we waiting for Ave Mujica which claimed has "psychological horror" tag in it 😊
