I cannot find a link for these molds. I got them in a soap making kit a long time ago. I did find some other molds that would probably hold up a little better than the plastic ones, here is the link if you want to check it out amzn.to/3SHzcXo
Thank you for your video. Please can you advise why my multilayered coloured soap using melt and pour break up when im cutting it . They cut along the different layers / colours . Please advise as i love making the multicoloured layers
It might be because you wait too long in between layers. You only want the bottom layer just cool enough that you can pour the new one without breaking through
hi ! I know this is not what you made your video for, but do you know where I could buy fragrance oils that smell like vanilla, bubblegum and similar things ? i just got started in melt and pour soap making, and I only have more natural type of smells such as lemon, cinnamon and patchouli. thank you so much for this video by the way
If I may, depending on how hot your soap is… usually u can just touch with the tip of your finger and see if there’s a “crust” so to speak, that’s when you know you can pour your second, third layer
I just go by the touch, the soap should move a bit when you touch it so there is a film on the top. As you practice, you will get more comfortable knowing when to pour the next layer. Also, be sure the soap you are pouring is not too hot, as that can break the layer below.
Love how the layers turned out!!
Thanks Destiny!
Hi, I enjoyed your video and wondering where you purchased the soap mold?

Hi, which fragrance oil did u use?
+SabSayS I used a grapefruit and citrus fragrance oil
About how many mins do you recommend to wait before pouring the second layer?

Are you able to use the layer soaps right away?
Sarah, yes you can use them right away!
