- My first time racing a GTR in my 370z after installing a Fast Intentions TT kit, tuned by Sharif @ Forged Performance.
Race took place at the Zdayz 2015 Top Dawg Airstrip Challenge event in North Carolina.
And this is why they will never put turbo on z's, because if they do, nobody would buy a gtr.

+Jon nathan You may be on to something. Depends on the person of course, and their personal preference, but I'm sure that's also why you never see a 3.5L Altima coupe. Why make that when they'd rather you buy a Z. Not that a 3.5L Altima coupe would be as "good" as a Z, but you know how people are.

when they match up, they're rotating 2x then 3x then 4x as fast as the camera shutter speed. kinda interesting

Nice 370Z. Love seeing clean, well kept cars. I wish everyone would just love both of them, as they both have weaknesses, an strong points. Obviously that 370z won’t stand a chance from a dig, but it has more top end performances, due to mods.
Damn I think that 370Z NISMO looks nicer than the GTR its such a unique and beautiful looking car.

+Verisimilitude Dude thanks man, it sure was fun. I would definitely stay away from GTM, they had done a lot of people wrong. I have Fast Intentions kit and I'm happy to say that I am very satisfied with quality and with the way it performs, 4k miles on it so far with zero issues.

what exhaust do you have?
3 things, one twin turbo system does not cost 6 grand. Just the turbos are 6 grand. You probably should put injectors, fuel pump, exhaust, down pipes, intercoolers, and then tune ecu. That's about 10 grand just on parts. In addition you need to pay for labor. Your talking about 5 grand. Secondly the future for speed is double clutch transmissions. If you tune that Gtr nothing will beat it ( and I have an S4 B5 stage 2 ). Even the golf R with its double clutch trans is unbeatable. And Thirdly that monster with its all wheel drive, tuned or un tuned will just kill you off the line ( forget slicks). But!!! The Z is truly a beautiful car whicH commands a lot respect! And
remember Speed = Wallet Size not car.
This car is tuned, if you just do a ecutek on the gtr you can get more then 600 HP without any hardware tuning.

+MrWicho09 14 and newer have the alcantara grips on the steering wheel along with the red center line.
Only reason the gtr did so well is simply because it's automatic

Gtr shifting was around 4500 rpms .... that's why they side by side.
Do they ship these to the UK? I assume you've had to upgrade a lot of the other internals/drivetrain/transmission etc? Just wondering how "economical" it is compared to buying a GTR. Either way it's incredibly impressive.

I love 370z and i love GTR.
i dont understand how you could still lose to a roll race from a GTR, you'd have a huge advantage being way lighter and more power, something seems way off. Either some ones lying about numbers from you or the GTR or you must really messed up that time.
Fast intentions themselves ran a twin turbo kit similar to yours and smoked a modified GTR at a roll race by a bus length or more

Alex Geldmacher 2016 Nismo 370z is $45k. Twin turbo is less than $20 depending on your options. Please tell me how $65k is about the same as a 2016 GTR that base model starts at $101k? Let alone the Nismo GTR at $150k. think before you type bruh
+Jacob Sereno I think he was going off a use GTR, i see them pricing them as low as 54k now, my 370z Nismo was 45k and i ended up final payments at 51k brand new. and alot of new GTR's are being priced at 75k after putting 10k mileage on them . they be losing 25-30 k when you drive them off the lot, im glad there not going below 50k though, but thats a lot of loss reason why i havent seen a use GTR with alot of mileage being sold, cause they would lose money

+Jacob Sereno a use 370z nismo is 30-35k a use GTR i seen 52k- 60k low as hell for A GTR after spending 100k BIG LOSS. point i wouldnt buy a GTR new i can put 40k mileage on my nismo and they give me 30k back on a trade in but with a GTR you better be prepared to loss a lot if you decide to trade in, difference is a nismo GTR is 50 grand more looks sexier, but you have people who drive the same cars and spend half for it. go buy a new GTR for 100k and someone pass you with a 60k one FUCK THAT. point is buy it used unless you have money like that.

It is the HAVING TO SHIFT that caused the 370z to fall back with each shift.
Honesty Counts if it was the 7AT or if he did some no lift shifting he would've been exactly at the GTR's side or maybe have inched out a win.

well just remember this they 7.5 billion people in the world of course Gtrs will always sell because not everyone likes Nissan z every cars are a personal choice so you can not speak for every body on the plant

Next spring the engine is being built and also adding flex fuel to run e85, expecting at least 750-800hp safely and efficiently. #moreboost #morepower

BINGO! You can see how the first shift in the 370z causes the GTR to move up a bit, hell if this 370z was the 7 speed auto it would've actually won it. From a dig though the AWD would kill the 370.

the GTR held way back. with launch control, that GTR takes off faster then a 1200hp Bugatti Veyron.

Alex your not taking into account of the mantnance expenses. most shops won't even touch a gtr. brakes and rotors for that car can run you a little over $4000 its a "cheap" supper car but like any super car its expensive ass hell to maintain and keep in working order.
