Patriots rookie Drake Maye has done more with less. We rerank the top four rookie starting quarterbacks and ask the question, “Who would you rather have?”
Only time will tell but Maye has the most potential. Great athlete, instincts, arm, and is reading defenses very well with just 4 starts under his belt. Should be a top 10 quarterback for years to come.
He needs to work on not throwing interceptions in the final minutes of the game that's the only thing I don't like about him and he also needs to work on sliding.
Largest upside... without question! All things equal with weapons and O-Line...Maye has the size, arm and athleticism! Processing capabikities is too early to call on ANY of these QBs
Perhaps, but I forgot to mention the complex defensive schemes and disguises the Rams threw at him on Sunday. He knew what to do, even under quick pressure. That’s veteran stuff, not rookie stuff.
Bo Nix is the first rookie QB to have over 18 TDs and 2 INT in a 9 week span since 2000. Drake has the potential to be great but he’s not on Nix or JD5s level at the moment.
Drake has the more upside for sure. He's on the Worst team by far. Get him Higgins next offseason , Eric Campbell from LSU and another Lineman and he will be fine. He's only 22 and has the most time to develop. Just needs to limit the turnovers but the talent is there for sure
Im a patriots fan... Stop lying bro. Stop making videos with biases just for content. Jayden Daniels is the best rookie QB so far. Maye has thrown two game ending INTERCEPTIONS. Daniels has game ending drives including a hail Mary. Maye is a turnover machine that's still turning.
Jayden is best System rookie QB and Drake the best game Gamechanger QB. Drake has played the only a few games and he has the same number of TDs as Jayden. Jayden is a checkdown machine. Drake is a playmaker
@@vitigaymer1053he doesn’t have the same number of TDs, Daniels has 15 I think and Drake has 10. But why not play that game in reverse Drake has 9 turnovers whole Daniels has only 3 and he’s played like 7 more games. I like Drake too but the cult around him is starting to remind me of Mac.
@jayy88 it is definitely a cult following for Drake Maye. I understand that people want him to be the best QB to come out of the draft... but let's let things develop. Daniels is clearly better at this moment. Drake has time to catch up. There is no need for a cult following though. These people are crazy
@@Vincent-of8ub I agree...but both of these teams are head and shoulder above the Patriots talent wise. Patriots are a total teardown and rebuild. And both teams have better Defenses that cause turnovers and give their own offenses better chances to succeed. IMO.
@asid448 yeah but the question is, Is Drake Maye playing the best out of all the rookies. Talented Receivers would make an average QB look Great, That's on the Patriots for Failing on this Year's Receivers. Hopefully they can hit on 1 or 2 of them in this upcoming class.
JD5 has fed on weaker teams and has a lot of talent around him..against top teams he's struggled.. should have a bounce back agains the horrible CowBoys
@jasonlejuan975 Yeah Well then the Question should not have been asked. Because the question didn't say take all of those other variables into account. It just asked Is Drake Maye the Best Rookie Qb?
Drake Maye is not the best QB in this class he has over 6 turnovers in 6 starts. Jayden Daniels is having success because he’s not turnover prone. Drake Maye is definitely more talented but he’s a gun slinger he has two games with more than two interceptions. He’s kind of reckless.
Watch his tape, he’s by far the most advanced rookie qb in the class, he has the least help of the 4, he has the most accurate deep ball of the class, he has the best pocket movement and release of the class, he has the best decision making of the class
Peyton Manning had 28 interceptions in his rookie year. Daniels is just as reckless, in a different kind of way. Maye is only 22, just wait until he gets some more experience and some help on the roster.
Jayden has one of the lowest turnover worthy plays in the country according to PFF, just 6 such plays in 365 dropbacks. Jayden has 3 interceptions and no lost fumbles on the year. I don't see the argument that he is reckless. Maye has 13 turnoverworthy plays including 6 interceptions according to PFF in 234 dropbacks. I get the argument that Maye will improve as he gets roster help and only time will tell who ends up being the better QB, but the idea that Jayden is reckless is just wrong based on the evidence we do have.
The problem with Maye, is that he will play great, and then he will turn the ball over and lose the game. Maye is 4th. He is better than Rattler. Nix is best.
If Maye gets a solid OL and good a number one WR he will be great.
Really hoping we’ll grab a stud in the draft or grab Tee Higgins next year
facts has top 5 in the league upside
Can you imagine if CeeDee gets sick of Dallas. We got the money
@@tylerhoule3072don’t do that, don’t give me hope😭👀
You mean the best my boy can run and has great ball control Brady with lamars legs you heard it here 1st folks he is that dude

Maye is the best without a doubt - and he has no help - especially from a head coach who is in over his head.

Maye looks like a young John Elway.

Your terms are acceptable
Campbell isn’t worth it at 7 take McMillan sign the linemen
Cheap Kraft will not sign Higgins

Superbowls coming back to patriots doom😂😅😅😅😅
No , he is not playing better than Jayden Daniels '. Or Bo Nix right now. So I will say that No, Drake Maye is not the best QB ( Rookie) .

Daniels and Nix probably wouldn't be playing the way they're playing right now if they were on this less talented Patriots offense.

Had to force things playing from behind add to that his WR's are not diciplined route runners, with more talent and experience TO will decrease

I wonder who this guy roots for? Maye is showing that he’s got Josh Allen upside and he’s even mirroring his rookie year so
