Keep them organic and feed them to the sheeps and goats. This way also stop poisioning the land and our environment with chemical spray. Also, let people who know how to appreciate kudzu know of the location so they to use them up.

Good video!, although I would warn against using invasive species to get rid of invasive species

Thank you for all the information about this weird weed. I've long heard of it but didn't really know anything about how it got to the US and how it can be handled.

The surefire way to identify kudzu is if it completely overwhelms everything it is,I live in North Al and it is monstrous,I heard years ago that the roots can live for years

I discovered a few plants on my farm in Indiana that I suspect is Kudzu, the vines ( maybe 12 of them) near the ground have hairs that are very sharp and thorn-like, and difficult to deal with. The upper vines had no spiny hairs grew up into a nearby tree. It's on a steep ditch bank so I clipped the vines and marked the spot with flags so I can treat this area next spring. I think it was there over a year as there was old dead vines there too. I read that Crossbow is an effective chemical to control it. Thanks for you informative video.

what happened to the method of injecting Helium directly into the soil????. that method only kill Kudzu and not the native plants unlike Herbicide right. is Helium more expensive than Herbicide????? 🤔🤔

So its a legume? Perhaps if you can kill it back things will grow great where it was as there should be a good supply of nitrogen in the soil

This crap has been growing a few hundred feet down the road from where I live for along time. It finally made its way to my property and has covered the hill behind my house. I've sprayed it, cut it, etc.. But it still manages to come back... I believe it's a lost cause for me because the kudzu patch down the road from my house is huge. Acres of it... All i know to do is start collecting the vines and making vine/wicker porch decor and selling it... Hate that stuff

Hire goats. They'll feast on it. They eat all the roots too. It's one of the natural enemies of kudzu.

Just let it do its thing. It will help the local ecology in the long run. Ecosystems that haven't been totally altered by humans aren't infested with it anyway. Just leave it.

I’ve noticed it was everywhere in east Alabama and west Georgia last summer and I just noticed today it’s literally gone everywhere and I have no idea what happened to it. I see a few dead vines here and there, but even they’re rare. Did the states finally do something about it? How is it in South Carolina these days? I know it used to be bad out there too.

It can still be found pretty frequently in SC especially in unmanaged areas.
