    With the experience and trail time I have, I have come to the conclusion that the more plush the wheeler is the the less of a connection you have with it. You nailed the wording of saying the reason why the renegade feels ridged is because you have to really ride it. I would rather have a machine I have to work then let the machine do the work. That's what takes the fun and experience out of the ride. I'll take numb thumb, dead arms and an all around tired body of a ride then not feeling like I even experienced the ride the entire time.

    Great video. I just had my 22 Renegade out this morning for a little bit of a break-in and adjustments of the suspension. The new Renegades have three different drive modes eco mode, standard mode, and sport mode. Sport mode is a blast! standard is great on more technical rough terrain where you don't want the throttle to be as jaby. I wanted my wife to get the scrambler so that I can have both and do some comparisons lmao but she wanted the renegade so now we have 2 1000 Renegades 🤷🏻‍♂️ 🤣 I'd love to rip a scrambler at some point though. My wife had her's at buttercup dunes 2 weeks ago and amazing what it does in the sand. Bring that scrambler down this way!

      @@jodybruce5097 Not at all hard to swap out. I had no issues installing them just literally slid right in. As far as smoothness goes I need to get them dialed in more I haven't messed with them to much. Need to call Elka and talk to them. It rides kind of stiff still but I am only 160 to 180 pounds too. Hope this helps! 👍

    Anytime myself or others get hurt, they're trying to keep up with the lead guy. Everybody has a different level of bar time, shocks, tires, or power. The very first ride I had in winter after moving back to MN, I hit a tree trying to keep up with my veteran buddies while I was on one of their Polaris Sportsman's 500. Loved that machine but it was no match for an unexpected bowl in the trail. Went into the bowl to the left. Shot me right, into a tree. No helmet, just a bandana on my face with a bomber hat. That was 20 years ago. The lead guy on that day died in a four wheeler accident 12 years later. He was one of the best there was too. It's all fun and games until somebody gets hurt. Be careful out there.

Cuz before they would close the trails just after hunting season but we sometime wouldn't get good snow till January anyway, so this way as long it's not groom able snow for snowmobiles atvs still can run the trails

      Congrats on getting a Ranger! Unfortunately us southern Minnesotans are forced to drive if we want to ride. There’s pretty much 3 options within a 2-2.5 hour drive. We have gypsum city in fort dodge iowa, snake creek near Winona, and Appleton OHV park up by Appleton. I’ve made several videos at all those places If you want to check them out. Gypsum city is the biggest, snake creek is rugged and pretty raw, and Appleton is more of a condensed playground. A 2019 isn’t an “old” quad per se. Having said that, if I pay close to 20K for a machine and something like a tie rod randomly fails due to fatigue, I’m gonna be very pissed. THATS why people who have Grizzly’s are so die hard about reliability. It’s just a shame you have to settle for 50% of the horsepower to get that reliability!

    • @cclarkie1
      @cclarkie1 Год назад +2

      Mine is a 2016 and for a tie rod to be the only thing I have had to replace in the 7 years I have owned it I think that speaks alot about the quality of my can-am. I don't ride it like a granny on a Sunday drive either as you can tell by the videos on here lol, and I only paid $14,000 for it also
