Great job on the comparison. However the Scrambler 1000 S should be compared to an XXC 1000 Renegade. The shock packages are like comparing apples and oranges. If you go in extreme off trail, DEEP mud, skeg and water it will be a no contest for a stock XMR, thats what it is designed for, again and again day after day. The Scrambler 1000 S is designed for rough trail and jumps all day.
Next pls Scrambler vs Renegade XXC. I mean, with new 2022 Scrambler when Polaris releases them. That would really be interesting, hopefully a gamechanger regards to suspension.
XMR has to turn alot more meat with the itp cryptid that are taller too! I would prefer the polaris for the long rides but for a 15 min. Blast, Renegade 1K is my pick😎
The Canam reminds me of a race car that's fast af with crazy throttle response but kinda savage for a daily driver. The Polaris reminds me of a high end sport's car that is fast as hell but is more focused on combining performance with comfort. 21 year old me would prefer the Canam. 36 year old me would prefer the Polaris.😅 I'd take the Polaris 10 out of 10 times if I'm riding longer than 10 or 15 min.
That was an apples to oranges comparison. The scrambler is a trail bike. The XMR is mud. And the XMR Is governed ... That's like comparing the Can Am x3 to the Polaris ranger It should have been. Compared to the Cam Am Renegade XXC ... It's faster and set up for trails.
Scrambler 1000S wasnt designed for mud bogging thats why it has such low intake and exhaust ports. It was made for dunes and everything except deep mud and water. If it had snorkels and the right tires it would have made it and kicked the canam ass.
Awesome comparison, obviously different bikes.howverr there antemt any other scrambler s vs renegade xxc or xmr so I appreciate it anyways. However I would love to know if the bikes are truly compared in reliability. I see no scramblers in any gncc, dakar,or any other races. Is the scrambler been reliable? I know the S model has everything reinforced compared to other models
The tires made the big difference. The renegade has more bite on the holes hot. The polaris as far faster just doesn't have the proper tires to really show the huge performance gap.
Great video guys however these two quads are hardly comparable one is a mud racer the other a dune/trail performance machine. The xmr has stiffer suspension and the tires rob speed. If u can try to compare the xxc model I bet it would give the polaris a run for its money minus the crazy suspension travel of course lol
We wanted to do a comparison of the best Can Am you can buy vs the best Polaris. We will be doing a part two to this video changing out tires on both. I’m actually shocked the renegade went anywhere in the mud on the cryptids. Not a huge fan of those. We will be throwing a snorkel on the scrambler and some mud tires to see how it does! And throwing some regular tires on the xmr. Going to see which one is more versatile!
@@MaxFromSandlot I gotcha and yeah tires make a huge difference in performance of the machine.. can't wait to see the next video see how it does I bet it will outperform the scrambler in a drag race it will not though om trail it's not set up for it.
@@MaxFromSandlot you can’t even say it’s the best of one vs the best of the other. That is purely dependent on the application, and each of these machines is designed for something totally different
Nothing about any of the tests was fair. Should’ve used a renegade xxc which is the same style of machine as the scrambler. If they wanted to use the XMR, then he should’ve used something like the sportsman highlifter to compare to the XMR renegade. As it is, this review was complete apples and oranges
dude!! Yo... scrambler 1000 had stock tires on it. canam grenedade had a swamp tires. if you swamp tires. Polaris will make it out. try use canam with stock tires and see what happen!!

Agreed
Two TOTALLY different 4wheelers being compared. Ones a Mud Machine (Can Am XMR) and ones a trail machine!
Next pls Scrambler vs Renegade XXC. I mean, with new 2022 Scrambler when Polaris releases them. That would really be interesting, hopefully a gamechanger regards to suspension.
I subbed bro damn good content for a little over 100 followers
XMR has to turn alot more meat with the itp cryptid that are taller too! I would prefer the polaris for the long rides but for a 15 min. Blast, Renegade 1K is my pick😎
I own both quads you tested. Love them both. Can am has the better throttle response, but Scrambler wins in every other category.
The XXC model is faster
XMR-extreme mud racing. I have this exact bike I compare this bike to the highlifter. I walk on the highlifters.
great video man! love the comparison

The canam has the XMR kit its not the cannam X XC kit that the polaris scrambler is more similar to
100 % Buds!!
Well said
Sweet max! Can’t wait to ride that trail!
Good vid tho man
Would have been better if you compared renegade xxc to the polaris🤔
Next time try the Renegade XXC
same
Yeah not a comparison.....I smoke scrambler with a 850xxc
Just put a tune and an exhaust and the 850 actually responds better then the 1000 from low to midrange
That was an apples to oranges comparison. The scrambler is a trail bike. The XMR is mud. And the XMR Is governed ...

Xmr got the only point that mattered ;) If ya wanna go for a sunday stroll, use the xxc!

Hoe kun je dit nou vergelijken je zet 2 totaal verschillende machines tegenover elkaar.
Pak dan een 1000r xxc op de zelfde banden als de scrambler
Comparing apples to oranges. I ride my XMR on all day trips and it's like driving Cadillac on steroids. Love my machine!
Fax trail and mud machine.. polaris wpuld exactli kill the renegade on trail
The tires made the big difference. The renegade has more bite on the holes hot. The polaris as far faster just doesn't have the proper tires to really show the huge performance gap.

100 % correct

If the Renegade was not a xmr it would have a better chance on the drag race
Guys you had the green key in , that’s the put put key , the white key is performance key 🔑, why did you guys do that
2021 only comes with 1 key
@@Jandro25 wow
If The Scrambler Had Mud Tires Like The RenegadeIf Wouldve Been More Interesting In The Bounty Hole
Great vid
Thank you man!
Hey max I'm colton I've been there a bunch I had the highlifter 1000 with the broken axle
All comments about cryptids being heavier, the scrambler is way heavier than the xmr stock
Scrambler: 400kg renegade xmr: 531kg 😅
All of those woods in the back where the paintball used to be, Why can’t we ride back there ?
We are working on some stuff for that area back there.
Those cryptids are a heavy tire. Put the same rubber on both.
The xmr 1000 is a mud machine. Test the renegade 1000 or the outlander 1000 against the polaris
For this to be accurate the tires need to be the same size I see a guy on here out the xxc tires on the xmr and he hit 103 mph very impressive
Put mud tires on the scrambler
Canam koła typowo na błoto polaris wszechstronne ciężko było się nie domyślić kto w wodzie wygra.... xD
Srambler would have done better on that last challenge with some mud tires
Put mud tires on the scrambler and then you will have a comparison!
Qual é o melhor
Put big tires on the scrambler and try the water hole again. Wasnt fair cuz the tires were smaller

Dude can am shouldn't even let you in there store for this you got a racing bike against a mud bike if you going to compare at least make it fair
Really should have snorkeled the polaris its going to take on water in places it doesn't need in stock form.
dude!! Yo... scrambler 1000 had stock tires on it. canam grenedade had a swamp tires. if you swamp tires. Polaris will make it out. try use canam with stock tires and see what happen!!
Nice machines , bad test.... like apple and orange
I thought he was going to say mph too 😔
Xmr shouldn't be in the drag or trail you should have used the xxc
bounty hole was 100% down to tyres
Not even a good comparison lol. Compare it to a highlifter 1000 not a trail 1000. Big fail
Not a good comparison tires are everything in a drag race
ima call bs... nobody pulls on me on my xmr1000r from 0 to 65 unless its turbod and modified.... even then its close and only after 65 mph
These new quads are so obnoxious!
Unless you test them with the same rim and tire combo these comparisons don't mean a whole lot!
