I loved the idea of making Daemon look cute and innocent: she was programmed to look like a harmless program, getting inside the computers and infecting them without anyone being suspicious of it. Brilliant.
Yep. I love the confrontation between good Hex and Daemon. Daemon sees herself as a "pure" virus, and tries to hurt Hex. Hex actually chooses to save the entire Net instead....
Well, they're opposites, aren't they? Daemon claimed she was a paragon of good and was the threat of ultimate evil. Hex lived as a villain and died a hero.
@@CaptainDoomsday hex was odd like that like when she took over mainframe with her virus relisted what she did meant nobody was going to be around to entertain her and undid it.
Sure she seems benevolent and sweet, unless you're a virus that converted to sprite format, then she has no mercy for you whatsoever. Still feel sorry for Hex.
The intro literally spoils you the fact Hex becomes emotionally controlled by masks again (Since Bob fixed her face back in Season 3) Although I think Cartoon Network used a summary of Season 3 as an alternate intro.
I love the baddies in this show. We have Megabyte, Hexadecimal and Daemon! So unique, so different... Hexadecimal was just in it for the fun/chaos that she could spread. Megabyte was just in it for the power. Daemon was like organized religion! :)
Daemon's quite a strange antagonist. On the one hand, her programming has her working to destroy the net but she seems kind and caring to the point of being a saint. It seems to me like the only reason she's even dangerous is because of her programmed function to destroy the net. It's too bad that she wasn't able to overcome her programming and had to be taken down........
'sigh' watching this stuff, it brings up my anger at the hacks behind Guardian Code. Now a few comments seem to point to the new rainmaker simply used the IP to try relaunch one of his failed creation, ignoring that, Reboot is properly one the easiest IP's animations from the 90's that you could write for newer generation while slowly introducing the predecessor's lore/characters. Case and point, use the aftermath of Daemon's infection then cure being deeply looked into by the User World/RW as crafting the series plot-assuming the makers were forced to include he mix of live and animation. (You cannot tell me that if the events of Deamon infection acutally happened most major governments would be looking deeply into how the hell it happened.)

If she wasn’t a super virus Daemon would have been the princess we would protect.
@@xsailor85 Can always reprogram her that way

She's like a goddess. ESPECIALLY when she infected ALL of Mainframe with one touch. ReBoot needs a movie to wrap everything up!!
they did.
"All must hear.....the WORD" b*tch....she's so cute and so bad...OMG I just LOVE and HATE her!!
Love the serie since the very first episode !! x3
Yes, and they all had pretty good character arcs for villains. Especially Hex. Reboot forever!!! ):D
If I had a choice in viruses I'd probably go for Hexadecimal chaotic evil but with a heart of gold.
Everybody's heard that the bird is the word.

"Ze Word..," great villain, great series.

I heard a comment in another video about her being the shows representation of the Y2K virus in comparison it actually makes sense
If she spreads the word, I fear that will destroy us all.

@ZilkenianDagger it'd be impossible to resit her :)

That moment when Reboot predicated Net Neutrality.
True. NN is not what people claim it to be.
Reboot Yes 2001
"My Format: Super Virus"
Suck it Megabyte
Way back then, after watching Season 4 of Angel, the villain Jasmine reminded me so much of Daemon … and Daemon sequentially came first!
Do you knoe da -Wae- Woerd?
Daemon is so much similar to Jubileus the final boss in the game Bayonetta, in which they seem like good entities but they are not.
tmmaston Daemon is very similar to yunalesca from final fantasy 10
I can't wait to see how she will look now in the new Reboot series they announced.
TheKevin546 possibly similar but more white in her attire. Going with the whole angelic and pure motif she had going on.
Oh boy are you going to be disappointed.......
This RUclips comment didn't age very well...
@@fuscinula I was thinking the same thing...

Daemon looks like Helen Flanagan.
or simply someone who has gone too deep in the internet and thoutgh it as gone too far and need a reboot
