I’m glad you avoided maximum length of repeats with short and long both being switched on. This would have been too much to my personal interest. This feeling of you not liking notable delay is so magnificent. Also, this comment might be of very sarcastic nature.
@@MartinKlajasGuitarchannel I was waiting to see both delay lengths switched on at their maximum time, together. You skipped that just as I'm left wondering about the actual shortest delay time. Unless the unit has such a limited range of control, you left me kinda wondering what the odd ends of the delay are good for. Outside of that it's a very good demo I'm pretty thankful for, just wish you'd have gone past your personal taste of usefulness to show the full range of possible usage. Also, more open chords and less solo noodling would have been pretty useful to me, as I'm left wondering if the very long delay setting wouldn't sound very nice on open, sustaining chords, rather than on individual, not sustaining notes. Details like that would make me judge the pedal better and possibly motivate me to buy the same sooner. :)
Just picked this pedal up and it's awesome with one exception. Every time the tape loop repeats there is a loud popping noise. The faster the tape speed the louder the pop. Is this normal? Does anyone else have this sound? Thanks for the great vid!
@@MartinKlajasGuitarchannel hey Martin thanks for the reply. Yeah it does sound like the tape splice and swapping the tapes didn't make any difference. I also adjusted the head tension and that didn't change it either. Other than that this thing sounds amazing!
Any time! Sorry to hear that swabbing the tape didn’t work! Did you buy it from a store? If so I would have them test it for any issues… Yes it does sound fantastic! 😃
Just watned to chime in on this.T-Rex used to make the tapes by hand. They now have a tape splicer. This eliminated arouind 99% of that loud pop from the tape splice. If you have old tapes, T-Rex should swap em out for ya, but from what i've seen the new tapes are now in stock everywhere.
Tak for interessen! 😃🙏🏼 Mvh. Martin
As it is now, this unit is somewhat useless as a live performance device, as the user must knee down to access the Long/Short delay heads. T-Rex needs to convert the Tap Tempo foot switch to Long/Short head select and implement a 1/4" input for an external Tap Tempo foot switch.
i just got one! Super device

I’m not sure what to make of this comment.
Do you think I did it wrong?

I believe it’s the tapesplice you are hearing. However I don’t think it’s supposed to be loud.
If possible try another tape…

Hej Martin. Hvordan indspiller du dine jamtracks? Noget du downloader fra "indernettet"? Fede demos Mvh Jens

Fedt. Den må jeg da ha....
Absolut! 😎
Hej Martin. Kunne være fedt, hvis du kunne høre Anders Valbro om han vil vise sin samling frem og guitarnørde på din sofa. :)
Lækker Strat lyd!

Totally useless! Jesus… 🥴
