Great reaction - and yes I think they make us all feel proud. Ignore the negative comments about them, those are usually made by very sad people who didn't take the time to listen to anything else by BABYMETAL after hearing the first few notes of 'Gimme Chocolate'. 'Akatsuki' means crimson moon and is inspired by and pays homage to X Japan's song 'Kurenai'. There is another version that Su performed live just once - at legend 1997 ... that is the 'unfinished' version (just Su, piano and strings) and it changes the feel of the song completely. If you react to the unfinished version bring tissues. For another Su solo, almost like a follow up to 'Akatsuki', look for 'Amore' ... and you thought the bass was good in this - you haven't seen anything yet. 'Amore' live at Wembley would be the ideal, but any live performance is great (of course).
Some people only want unhappy songs. A guy at work the only Babymetal song he likes is Monochrome. I think the unhappy songs cheer them up in a weird way.
Akatuki(紅月) Lyrics Going over thousands nights, some love shall survive. So, until my body perishes, until my life disappears, I shall keep on cherishing this love.
Shining in the depths of the eyes, the moon is about to cry. Red tears overflow and dye the night sky.
In the silence, the two damaged blades stand face to face. Our loneliness and our uneasiness slash even our hearts.
Going over thousands nights, some love shall survive. So, until my body perishes, until my life disappears, I shall keep on cherishing this love.
In the passage of time, I keep my eyes shut. Even if the red thread flowing in my hand breaks, I still feel we are tied.
In the silence, I hold the damaged blade face to face. My loneliness and my uneasiness, I slash, even my heart, now.
Going over thousands nights, some love shall survive. So, until my body perishes, until my life disappears someday...

I love this song and performance, but look up Akatsuki Legend Z, Su was fighting against a clone during the guitar solos. Yes, Su herself was doing a choreographed fight and it was awesome. 🦊🤘
Your reactions to Babymetal are the best. You express the extraordinary wonder that we all feel and the emotion that the songs evoke so well. I hope Su is having the time of her life, I've been watching bands for decades but can't recall any that stir the senses as much as Babymetal. Every time a big and famous (or smaller) artists in metal has talked about Babymetal, they've only had good things to say. Their are very little elitists among them, basically all of them see hard working very professional talented kids delivering performances at a very high level. Their is nothing child-like about Babymetal in that sense. Su-metal at 16 on this stage at Budokan was already a top performer. Please show me who else can deliver such a performance at 16 years old. they're selling out everywhere they are playing with this new tour. many of the US sites have already sold out and many there are few seats left and those are the nosebleed seats. i love them!
4:30 There is an oriental tradition of wrapping a red string around the little finger to confirm the bond between a lover who is far away. This is one of BABYMETAL's few love songs and a masterpiece.
100% agree with you Biss , I have been following BM since day 1 , I bet their parents are so proud of what they have achieved in their young lives . some trolls have switched from BM and now are focusing their toxicity onto the shall we say older male fans . Seeing BM live this year was amazing , roll on November 3 more BM gigs lined up yay .
I have a LOT of their concerts (I mostly watch rather than listen to them) and this concert is amazing - you should look into Akatsuki unfinished (piano version basically I think - from legend 97 and maybe a few other concerts)) - I love both versions. This time period for me was golden - everything seemed in such great balance and harmony. I've never actually loved a band until I saw/heard this group. Good reaction....of course :P
@@KenjaTimu Both great - from the little I've heard of metrock -but I actually do have Metrock...I've been kinda saving it :P. I've become horribly obsessed with this group 😂 Yokohama had the raisable walkway right - that was so awesome :)
@@astrafaan I think you are thinking of Saitama. Yokohama had the giant fox Statues. It is the concert in The One video where they put the girls in the tetrahedron and pulled them above the crowd. Every song they did something different.
"Akatsuki" дословно с японского "рассвет", "утренняя заря". Омофонически можно ещё перевести как "красная луна", либо же "кровавая луна" ("Akai" - красный, "Tsuki" - луна).
Thanks again from Japan This was performed right before BABYMETAL entered into international market. On Feb.19, 2021, Akatsuki became a very special song again for BABYMETAL fans in the world. This song had not been performed for 2 years and 4 months, but they revived it that day. I witnessed it at Budokan, the legendary arena, the same venue in this video. After the silent interval in the middle of this performance, Su-Metal showed up like a goddess standing solely in the center of foggy lake. It was divine beauty. Honestly I can not remember clearly what I saw and what I heard because it was too surprising and too mesmerizing. (Even after I viewed Blu-ray videos released thereafter) There is one certain thing, however. I felt celestial bliss there, especially with Su's matured richer voice.
Hi, this song is a professing of love, despite the fact that they are not perfect and sometimes they fight, no matter how much time passes her love will remain
My favorite part of this song is the fact su just carries the whole thing herself while the girls take a water break. This is why she's our queen... eternally.
I have not heard the critics? Where are these these bastards? Su metal is the finest singer - hands down - in her range and style. Her style uses the nasal passages as the final 'sound shaper' this give her that ability to cut and deliver with a heavy band like no one else... And she just proved it with this performance.
It's the first time I've seen her alone on stage. And where are her younger sisters on the stage? I told you that they will grow up and scatter in all directions. The grooms have dismantled everyone.
Hello bisscute please give a reaction on Tommy Johansson...He mostly do cover songs but he is born one in a million who play all by himself the guitar, bass, piano and lastly his flawless voice given out of this world...Thank you
The word akatsuki is a Japanese word for scenery, and at the same time it is a beautiful word that evokes emotions. Akatsuki is an old word. It is a word that expresses the scenery that gradually becomes brighter when the pitch-black night ends and the sun rises, and at the same time, it expresses the dynamism of the dawn of a new era. This is the original meaning, but it is also sometimes used to describe the crimson moon. The image of the Japanese is a scene of a samurai risking his life to fight under the red moon shining in the deep darkness. Here they use the expression of crimson moon, but Japanese people imagine both from this word. In any case, for the Japanese, the word akatsuki has become a word that expresses a beautiful scene and emotion.
If you want a FULL detailed explanation of the Japanese lyrics then you can't beat DuaneMetal's channel. He has 4 videos on Akatsuki www.youtube.com/@DuaneMetal/search?query=akatsuki where he explains the song title and then goes through the lyrics explaining everything in depth 🤘🦊

Akatsuki @ Nippon Budokan:- This is one of 4 Su-Metal (Suzuka Nakamoto) solo songs. The other 3 are:- 1. "Amore" (Wembley Arena). 2. "No Rain No Rainbow" (Legend A Baptism XX). 3. "Rondo Of Nightmare with Mischief Of Gods" (Budokan Black Night) same venue. Su-Metal have a powerful peircing voice to penetrate the heavy musical instrument and still sound so clear. You should listen to X Japan "Kurenai", a legendary band from Japan 🇯🇵 which Babymetal get a lot of their inspiration from. There is a slow ballad version of "Akatsuki", the Unfinished version perform at Legend 1997 Apocalypse concert same venue as Headbanger @ the Makuhari Messe. Akatsuki is just Crimson Moon, but the original kanji for Akatsuki is the one you see in Naruto (暁). The original meaning is the time when night fall ends, or dawn. But there is a double meaning of "The time you waited after your dreams/wishes came true" . If you listen to the lyrics both crimson moon and akatsuki play a role in the song Akatsuki. Romanji Title: Benitsuki -Akatsuki English Title : Crimson Moon -Dawn. Akatsuki-Benitsuki: Akatsuki- is the couping song from BABYMETAL's 3rd single Megitsune, by SU-METAL. The song is also included in BABYMETAL's first original album BABYMETAL. Nippon Budokan (日本武道館, Nippon Budōkan), often shortened to simply Budokan, is an indoor arena located in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. Originally built for the inaugural Olympic judo competition in the 1964 Summer Olympics, its name translates as Martial Arts Hall in English. While its primary purpose is to host martial arts contests, the arena has gained additional fame as one of the world's most iconic musical performance venues. A number of famous rock music acts have played at Budokan. The Beatles were the first rock group to play there in a series of concerts held between June 30 and July 2, 1966. ABBA ended their last tour there. Their final show on March 27, 1980, was the last live concert ABBA performed together. Numerous acts have recorded live albums at Budokan, including Bryan Adams, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Cheap Trick, Dream Theater, Duran Duran, Kiss, Mr. Big, Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest, Journey and Deep Purple. Look how she bang on 1:26 badass & adoreable at the same time ❤ And I love when she kneeling down at 6:53 too, you need to see on Budokan 2021 live version at the same spot, she spining before kneeling. Very old song from BM. You will be surprised. They break the genre in the good way there. And I cant stop myself listening to Believing and Maya from latest album. Waiting for your next choice
I don't speak Japanese nor have I looked up lyrics. Babymetal needs no translation because Su is so good at conveying emotion and the choreography/performance brings the story. This song is about a girl pouring her soul into a microphone, sending beautiful emotions to those hear it. It might be a love song, and if it is, then it is a powerful one.
I am half Japanese. I know a lot of Japanese women who are old but look young. I just found out that the members of Babymetal are under 26 years old. I thought they were older. Asian women who are senior citizens look their age though.

Great reaction Bisscute ,I’m a big Babymetal fan ,part of The One , for 11 years now been to 2 concerts 2018 and 8 June just past they were absolutely fantastic but I totally agree with you there need a bigger venue to shine of all there awesome talent the girls and the band 🤘🦊🤘
they're selling out everywhere they are playing with this new tour. many of the US sites have already sold out and many there are few seats left and those are the nosebleed seats. i love them!
4:30 There is an oriental tradition of wrapping a red string around the little finger to confirm the bond between a lover who is far away. This is one of BABYMETAL's few love songs and a masterpiece.
The red string of fate is the idea that two lovers are eternally tied together by a red string.
Another fantastic BABYMETAL reaction! Keep up the good work :)
She said "Akatzky" but all the world "Akatzuky" 😅
One of my favourite songs and performances and i got the Blu-ray as well of this show 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
it is extremely hard to stop laughing at the preview pic. it is just perfect.
She sang OST of anime at her 10 years old which is famous In japan.
Story:
Three young girls defeat an evil organization and save the world.
My favorites are Metrock 2015 and Yokohama 2015. I've seen most of them. Everything up until Legend S. I think Black Fox was the best sounding show.
@@KenjaTimu oh yes :P
I felt celestial bliss there, especially with Su's matured richer voice.
absolutely amazing and wonderful thanks for this reaction Masterpiece ❤❤❤❤❤❤
> "I'm very proud of them."
That's a sentiment, many (mainly older, I guess) fans share with you!
Hi, this song is a professing of love, despite the fact that they are not perfect and sometimes they fight, no matter how much time passes her love will remain
If you want to hear how amazing Sue and Moa's voices truly sound react to BABYMETAL - Monochrome - Piano ver. / THE FIRST TAKE
She reacted to it 2 months ago. 😊
@@old_5-O Thank you, I will watch it now.
I'm with you. Babaymetal outside of Japan just isn't the same. Without the crazy stages and pyrotechnics it's not the same.
This song is my favourite. The lyrics are so beautiful.
@The_Miss_Bisscute Hello. I am not a good English speaker. I enjoy your channel very much. Please keep up the good work.
Akatsuki 赤月 = crimson(blood) moon
It's basically about a love that never ends.
My favorite part of this song is the fact su just carries the whole thing herself while the girls take a water break. This is why she's our queen... eternally.
Queen Su 👑❤️🦊
Akatsuki means morning rising. Is a very beautiful song AND emotive.
Babymetal 2014 LIVE AT BUDOKAN-BLACK NIGHT-黒い夜 LEGEND "DOOMSDAY" BRD is a masterpiece.
I'm 53. This might be my favorite song of all time 😊
I have not heard the critics? Where are these these bastards?
Su metal is the finest singer - hands down - in her range and style.
Her style uses the nasal passages as the final 'sound shaper' this give her that ability to cut and deliver with a heavy band like no one else... And she just proved it with this performance.
How about "Yava" my queen, its a bit different yet awesome, give it a listen youll definitely love it.
Keep up the great work 🤘👍
It's the first time I've seen her alone on stage. And where are her younger sisters on the stage? I told you that they will grow up and scatter in all directions. The grooms have dismantled everyone.
Su had 4 solo songs (2 on each of the first 2 albums), Yui and Moa had the same number of duets they would perform while Su got a break back stage.
Su , Yui, and Moa are not related, and although Yui left for health reasons. Su and Moa are still together performing 😁🤘🏼🦊
Got it, thanks
I discovered BabyMetal during COVID and they really helped me cope. They will be in concert where I live in Sept. Gonna try to get tickets.
If you have not done No Rain No Rainbow you should for sure. The concert for Hiroshima Su’s home town is the best I think.
BISSCUTE U ARE MY BABY & U ARE METAL ^.^ LOVE U
Someone must like Drzzt and forgotten realms. Read on.
Love the song, love the band, love the pyro but Su's stage presence steals the show here. Hoping to see them in September with the awesome Dethklok. Love the reaction Biss!! ❤🤘🔥
Next Amore 😉Please
Kamiband amazing🎸
Akatsuki @ Nippon Budokan:-
This is one of 4 Su-Metal (Suzuka Nakamoto) solo songs. The other 3 are:-

LYRICS OVERVIEW:-
Crimson Moon
Going over thousands nights,
some love shall survive.
So, until my body perishes,
until my life disappears,
I shall keep on cherishing this love.
Shining in the depths of the eyes,
the moon is about to cry.
Red tears overflow
and dye the night sky.
In the silence,
the two damaged blades stand face to face.
Our loneliness and our uneasiness
slash even our hearts.
Going over thousands nights,
some love shall survive.
So, until my body perishes,
until my life disappears,
I shall keep on cherishing this love.
In the passage of time,
I keep my eyes shut.
Even if the red thread flowing in my hand breaks,
I still feel we are tied.
In the silence,
I hold the damaged blade face to face.
My loneliness and my uneasiness,
I slash, even my heart,
now.
Going over thousands nights,
some love shall survive.
So, until my body perishes,
until my life disappears someday...
Going over thousands nights,
some love shall survive.
So, until my body perishes,
until my life disappears,
I shall keep on cherishing this love.
Dye crimson! Dye bloody crimson!
(Akatsuki)
One of the best twin guitar solos from Takayoshi Ohmura and Shinji Yuuto aka Leda Cygnus. Kitsune Up 🦊🦊🦊🤘🤘🤘🇯🇵🇸🇬#notacult.
Akatsuki is the Japanese word for dawn. There's akatsuki for dawn and tasogare for dusk/twilight
They Are Always so Iconic🤘🫶🏽
So you saw them recently, right? I'm going to see them later this summer and I was wondering if there is anything you can share about your experience. How long was the show? How were the costumes? What did they do with the lights? Did anything stand out to you?
They were amazing, the costumes were great and the show last about an hour for me. Everything was great with their performance
I'm seeing baby metal in September with headliner DETHKLOK!!! It's gonna be epic
The Budokan shows are amazing but the best shows for me are the Tokyo dome, legend S and LMG shows.
My favorite are Metrock 2015 and Yokohama 2015. Legend S is too sad.
@@KenjaTimu Ya Metrock and Yokohama are epic shows. It's so hard to pick favourites. Legend S is sad, but I just love the strength of the girls to pull off the show and I love the aesthetic of it
Have a soft spot in my heart for New Years Fox Festival 2015;at SSA, MetRock I think shows them the most happy performing and Tokyo Dome is just apamazing, both nights.
@@tackle47 no wrong answer. Every show was so good.
This is FANTASTIC!!! ❤❤❤
i like your bangs 🥰😁
Look how she bang on 1:26 badass & adoreable at the same time ❤
And I love when she kneeling down at 6:53 too, you need to see on Budokan 2021 live version at the same spot, she spining before kneeling. Her performance reminds me a lot to Gackt from Malice Mizer and Kamijo from Versailles.
For me Akatsuki still the best speed metal from BM so far.
Did you watch Iine (iine) already? Very old song from BM. You will be surprised. They break the genre in the good way there.
And I cant stop myself listening to Believing and Maya from latest album.
Waiting for your next choice
Try Akatsuki unfinished version live. I bet you will love it.
Babymetal does it again. 🤘
Now for totally something different because I was reminded it exist recently.. B 52's - Give Me Back My Man • TopPop
I am half Japanese. I know a lot of Japanese women who are old but look young. I just found out that the members of Babymetal are under 26 years old. I thought they were older. Asian women who are senior citizens look their age though.
i love unfinished version of akatsuki too. Su killed it.
❤ Love Babymetal and also love your new hair 😮
She is extremely pretty
I love you´re reactions. Please take a look to the Preety Reckless. Heaven Knows is a great Song from them. With the great Taylor Momsen.
Biss i know you don't do reactions to the same songs but the unfinished version is different enough to warrant its own reaction. But also other concert versions are out there. You should watch on your own time they can be quite different. Try the 2017 one. Beware the SuMetal death stares she really brings them out in that version.
Thanks reaction babymetal🥰😘😘
This band can be enjoyed by children and the elderly as long as they are human beings.
i want you to react SAKURA GAKUIN, the place where BABYMETAL created

This song is about how Su can throat punch us while saying it will be alright and we believe her.
It's a love song. It's about undying love that will prevail. (akatsuki means red moon)

Akatsuki means "dawn", "morning shine", "daybreak"
Su carried this song like nothing I've ever seen before.
🔥🦊🔥
I have no idea what it is about, but it is very entertaining.
It's a sad song about love. It's an homage to X-Japan song 'Kurenai'. It sounds similar. Kurenai means crimson. Akatsuki means crimson moon.
Good for YOU, Bisscute! You were so into this you almost forgot to pause; I don't blame YA!! Thanks for Sharing!
🤘🦊🤘
Next babymetal ijime dame zettai 😢😢😢🎉❤❤❤❤
Next please deth
Great beautiful Bisscute enjoy 😊
This song is the scene where SU METAL pledges its resolve to believe in eternal love and continue to fight for the restoration of METAL, risking its life for the sake of the restoration of METAL, to the red moon that illuminates the battlefield.
