Five top tips to support your mental health when using social media

  • Social media is an enjoyable part of everyday life for many people, but what you do online can have both benefits and risks to your mental health. Research shows that, for teenagers, the best way to use social media is in moderation, and mainly for messaging and browsing positive content rather than posting content beyond close friends. This video shares five practical top tips about how you can use social media in a way that protects and supports your mental health, while minimising the risks.
