On the streets of Kinshasa, musicians play and dancers shake their hips at this tranced out hip shaking party. Traditional Likembes, or thumb pianos are hooked up to a wall of amplifiers and the resulting sonic distortions create a music that might be as at home at a downtown avant-garde concert as on a busy African street.
