- Meth is a hella of a drug. Believe it. It hit the Hmong community hard back when I was growing up, 01-06. still going on today, you believe that? Teenagers as young as 13 was In it, so easy to get in but hard to get out, trust me. We’ve lost brothers, sisters and friends to it. Now you see some wondering around looking lost. They were once someones idol, role model, and someone who was depended on. This song goes out to anyone, everyone who lost or know someone who’ve lost everything to the drugs. Still today I wonder if my brother will ever be who he was when we was growing up, protective, supportive, and motivative, we wasn’t that far apart at all, just a year apart, same generation. Now when I see him he’s a total different person, someone who I don’t even recognize anymore. Shit breaks my heart to the core no matter what I do. This song is to remind him of what still in the surface floating. Please be aware and teach the younger ones to stay away, that’s all I gotta say. No one should experience it.

Drug was in our community from Laos. If it wasn't opium it was something else; slowly everyone adapted to the new drugs in America.
Lost many friends from childhood who end up on this path; there is nothing you can do but watch with a tearful heart as they slowly change into someone you don't know; finally letting them go because you knew they were going down and taking you with them.
To all those friends; I hope you understand; we didn't abandon you but you abandon us; your real friends was the drug and we didn't matter in your life anymore. I pray God was watching over you and you found a way to escape drug; have a family and living well quietly.

Then he ended up dead in the streets I've tryed personally to help him like you did with your brother but it wasn't enough to stop him from his habits till this day I still feel responsible for his death.
