The shows they booked here for those missed tours were smaller club shows which would have been amazing to see as the 2005 shows they played here were arenas... Usually everytime a band of that calibre comes out its bigger and bigger. So for smaller venues it was a real missed opportunity for the fans.

I think Velvet Revolver was way better than GnR , way better, also saw Velvet Revolver live 4 times !!! Some of the best live rock shows I ever saw!!🤘😈🤘
I saw them the only two times they ever came to Toronto in 04 & 07. Some of the best concerts I’ve ever seen. Loved VR. I enjoy the GNR music but I hate who axel is as a person (still have seen them 5 times) but when Scott joined VR I was so excited being a STP fan for years! Saw them with megadeth in 93 and a few more times in the 90’s. I really wish VR could’ve worked it out and stayed together. Scott is such a legend same with All the GNR guys. RIP to a legend & a great band
Kuey_ v totally once I was introduced to cocaine , I couldn’t drink without getting into the blow. Every time after about 5 or 6 beers or drinks , the blow enters the mind. Fist it was just lines and eventually I couldn’t end the night without smoking it and calling hookers. Bad memories. I took a car accident and becoming a paraplegic to finally let it all go. Tough way to learn my lesson. Now I’m doing everything in my power to stop my 21 year old son from going down the same path. It’s like talking to a brick wall.

I tried to drink and coudn't stand it. But no less got sick and wanted to puke. When I didn't puke I thought oh wow my body is taking this..then I hated it and I stopped. Didn't want to be like dear old step-dad.Mom would've blown a gasket if she knew this was part of my college education. Cigarettes is a vicious cycle, but finally got off the train, puff, puff!

Not to mention it lasts for about 100 hours straight, no sleep, convulsions and ends and flows of seizures. Then the involuntarily barfing every hour. Out of food and water, you start throwing up air a tremendously painful experience. Three days into it, at the peak, you are hallucinating, grabbing random inanimate objects to eat (I was trying to eat my headphones) screaming at the top of your lungs, every part of your body in immense pain and discomfort, skin feels like it’s is on fire, and that’s not even half of it. I experienced both and benzo cold turkey is bad but heroin is my cry much worse.

Not true. I quit benzos cold turkey. It wasn’t easy but doable. You can’t physically just stop taking heroin. You’ll have a seizure.
