The plot of Goldilocks be like
I think the interpretation of 'And I think I'm dying, but I'm just being born.' is that Bill hates the takeoff, but once it's in the air the flight is amazing. Perhaps this is a reflection of his first flight, and it was scary at first, but he came out of it as a new person.
In general, I feel like his music contains messages that deal with cooperation and learning from other people.

Not that hard this is about birth and death
The airport terminal is a metaphor for how strange life can be. There, all people from all cultures be there, creating an unusual circumstance, giving everyone there an unusual day. The entire song is talking about life, compressed in the metaphor of an airport terminal.
Or its death, the planes leaving are dead people arriving are born

I will make a very detailed reviews of Bill Wurtz songs because I have nothing better to do.
This song is about trying to let go of your past but being stuck in our unpleasent memories that are constantly leaving and coming back and torturing us. Terminal floor is the place that we are stuck in. Planes represent unusual or unpleasant memories that we try to escape from. Basically, we are stuck in the terminal, which can be considered as an incurable disease that makes us miserable in an unusual way that makes us believe we are fine but we actually suffer. Last but not least, porridge that was heated for a wrong amount of time represents depression and unwillingness to participate in the real life actions, thus being stuck rolling in the terminal floor.
:o
In my opinion, the airport represents death and the planes represent the journey of life. The planes fly around the world, go to different places, then all end up in the airport again. Bill says "through the terminal we all shall go". And Bill says that it feels unusual, because death (and life and being born) is unusual. And a big bit of evidence that this is true is that Bill says "I'm saying goodbye to the world I know". Also, Bill says "at the airport terminal I feel so imagintive; imagining where all the planes are going". People who are about to die think about life, and the people they know, and their lives. :)

Guys I don't think you understand how hard it is to even concieve such a complex chord progression, this song just sounds like it was made by a guy who spent at least 8 years in music school. And so that's why a lot of people keep saying that it sounds like Bill Wurtz is creating his own genre, because his music is as accesible as pop (with refrains and all that stuff ) but also as musically complex as classical.
can't get nearly enough of 2:16
I think bill is having a mental breakdown after his plane getting delayed
WOAH WOAH WOAH! Let me get this straight: You comment something that is unrelated to the fact that I smell like 100 dead orangutans? Most bot comment I see multiple times on all of Bill's videos.
The “cigarettes sold out” at 2:23 is one of my favourite touches in any of bill’s videos
is this some kind of death or afterlife reference? "the sky is so high and the ground is so low" like heaven and hell, "i think i'm dying but i'm just being born", "it's time to let go", "one day soon we'll all be together, until then the terminal carries me through" like a purgatory?
"Everyone is having an unusual day in an unusual time zone". "When I'm there I'll imagine where i'm going, and when I'm gone I'll imagine when I'm Back". "When will the night return". Yeah so many references...
Holy crap. You’re right.
Technically speaking, most of Bill's songs/lyrics have no "meaning", he just kind of creates them, like: "Well, it sounds cool, so I'll insert this line here, and this one here."
However, I think that's what makes them really fucking great to listen to, it's just finding meaning in something meaningless or giving it your own meaning and interpretation, Bill's songs are just cool like that.
I like your interpretation, btw
Think of what an airport terminal is. When you’re going from one place (life) to another place (afterlife), you pass through an airport terminal. You don’t stay there, you just come and go. I’m supposing that this song is a metaphor for some sort of limbo or purgatory.
Or maybe it's just a *f u n n y* song

I love how the A section sounds like a theme to a classic nursery rhyme such as itsy bitsy spider or I’m a little teapot and then the B section etc goes back to the iconic “Bill Wurtz” style
I thought the same! I thought it had a nursery-rhyme-esque style to it, somehow. But with bits of his very unusual style mixed in and then seemlessly transitioning to the rest. How does he do that
I thought it sounded like a nursery rhyme too. Then I pictured singing it with my baby boy and it becoming "our song".
Everything he does feels so meticulously assembled from both a musical and visual standpoint. And yet it always manages to feel wildly creative and spontaneous. How?

Turning random thoughts into art while under a LED light
It’s his quadratic formula. I have been studying his work for years. His music style is so complicated in the sense that it’s a mixture of different styles, yet it’s so familiar to those who hear it because it has something for everyone. His extreme versatility in tempos and the way blends them works well, too. Visually, his composition of vivid color, mild animation and simplistic art makes it masterfully complementary to his music style.
Yeah like obviously theres a lot of work put into it but it feels like he made it up as he was going along too.

I listened to this after six months of being totally homeless after my family kicked me out and disowned me. They acted like me moving across the country was a huge insult, and that I'll never accept their love. I listened to this at the airport. The line "as i'm saying goodbye to the world I know" as I see the little Long Island i live on disappear in the distance fucking smashed me. "when i'm there i'll imagine where i came from then i'll imagine my way back home" I still have dreams about the place I spent my whole life. It's weird being in California. Topographically it's all different. The people are different. The places are different. But I'm learning new shit. Not like I'll be here forever. We didn't go on vacations when I was younger, so the island was all I knew. Good to get a broader perspective. Sometimes I wake up and think I'm still there.

This feels almost like a metaphor, not for death as another person said, but for growing up. Getting past highschool and going into job/college.
The airport terminal being that transition period of your life that everyone goes through. Getting through highschool almost feels like your dying/drowning (especially if you're grinding for getting good colleges) but really you're being born, entering the main section of your life be it college or a job.
"imagining where the planes are going" is where everyone else you know is going.
The "night" definitely has something to do with this too but I'll figure it out later.
Although I do agree that "one day soon we'll all be together" does work for an interpretation of this as just a whole life in general.
