- Transportation is vital in Cabo and they know it.
Always book ahead with agency, reputable website or if booking directly with resort and have the option of comp or extra fee for transfer from airport to your resort.
Don't get stranded at airport and then have to pay the higher rate which would be the taxi.
As shown, the compound has updated and added another bar and restaurant.
Keep in mind that you'll pay American prices for beverages at this compound if you want a beverage.
Get ready, prepared and have a blast here in cabo.
Thanks for watching and subscribe if you like the videos. More coming.
I love that they put the service peoples face on there. As a mother of 2 under 10 very helpful and would put me more at ease. Thanks for sharing!
It is always my pleasure. Thanks for the comment and enjoy.
There is a transit bus stop on the upper level at the back of the terminal. That experience is a lot more colorful.
Thank you! Is there a bus to the beach area?
I was on the last flight arriving about 8pm and it was dark. I just confirmed with the driver "los arcos?" he nodded. I paid with coins. I got off the bus 1 hr. later when he announced "marina". the bus stop sign faces away from the terminal so you won't read the sign until you walk right up to it. it's actually just a graphic of a generic bus and doesn't say anything on the sign. It's obviously only intended to serve locals working at the airport.
I booked my transportation through Riu and received a transfer voucher in my email but did not receive the paper that you have with a list of employees. Will I receive this at the airport once I arrive?
You request the list when you 1st meet up with coordinators. Note: you gotta be on standby and wait for other passengers before take off. Just a heads up. Enjoy
Its called go to the left and take that purple bus for 85 pesos staright to downtown.
Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it. I go to the RIU resort and the transfer takes me straight to the entrance. Luckily it comes included with reservation.
After flying 2+ hours on a packed plane, the last thing I want to do on vacation, is to hop on a city bus that and wait another couple of hours to get to my hotel.
How long did you have to wait for the shuttle to leave the airport?
The wait was about 45 minutes. It gave me enough time for restroom, buy and drink a beverage and do this vlog lol. Always speak to the coordinator and driver to give you an estimate type of departure. This only applies to shared transfer. Have a blast, and thanks for watching.
Give me the company you reserved for transportation?
Riu resort website was where I booked it with. I strongly recommend. You contact your host or resort to provide you with pre authorized companies that have an agreement with the resort. Not all companies are accepted into resort. Thanks for watching.
Uber available?
Yes, it is, but right now, taxi drivers are blocking them and do not want to let them steal their business. If it is only 2 of you, I recommend a transfer. If you're going to a resort, ask if they give comp transfers.
@@VegaTravelTips thanks for the info!
What about Uber? Can we use Uber?
No, I've been told by many shuttle drivers that they're not allowed there due to permits. I do notice that the shuttle do pass through controlled access gate.
I was just there and took a short walk for Uber which is WAAAAY cheaper. Once you come out the door you go left and there will be a convenience store on your right. You can request an Uber there. And at that particular location there will be “unofficial” Uber drivers that will do it basically for the same price that Uber shows
