The hotfridge has one problem the purpose of the fridge is to keep your food cold so it stays good but it's heating it up that's going to do the opposite and actually make it go bad quicker

Asriel did this. Chara sacrificed themselves, and gave their soul to Asriel to cross the barrier
Asriel hesitated, and died. This is probably why asgore was scared of even doing that. Trauma

1. Reflektif partners.
Featuring killer sans vs gen sans, the plot is nightmare sent killer to gen so he could recruit him by force and you probably can guest what will happen next.
2. Mirror possesion.
Featuring cross sans vs gen sans, this took place during underverse 0.0 basicaly cross and x chara tried to get into the original timeline of undertale but instead they teleported into one of it's alternate timeline which is gentale. Because they steal need a soul they try to steal gen sans soul which you guys know will lead into a fight

@@GenTem Technically flowey is neither a monster nor a human, like flowey himself said he don' t have any type of soul so you can't really call him a monster since he don't have a monster soul, as a extra he also don't turn to dust when dying which normal monsters do.

Connecting points is 100% one of the ways to measure someone's intelligence in that scenario

This isn't a scenario where you can weight the number of flies for example, if Alphys had more time, could weigh the jar, take other measurements, etc, then sure, her intelligence and skills would be important in correctly counting the flies but it isn't here

9:20 What's with these dumb resposens from Alphys and Chara? Previosuly they corrected stuff that was previously shown/said but now they correct information about using one soul to cross the barrier and that wasn't said previously at all.
You need seven souls to BREAK the barrier
But to cross it alone, you only need one

Hey I know I'm a day late but at around 3:55 Alphys and StoryShift Chara essentially say that 7 souls would nullify the effect of the barrier because 7 magicians made it but that would imply that all souls are the same in terms of power but that makes no sense considering you don't get the title of being the best at something if someone that has no experience in that thing can match you plus they probably got the title of best magicians for the stuff they did in human and monster war and from what we know none of the souls that fell down could match that power so how would souls that have (from what we know) killed no or a few monsters match the magic that the best magicians of that time could put up because if they can that means that humans have only gotten stronger but I doubt they have considering 6 humans were killed and seemingly put up little enough fight to make Asgore feel guilty because why would he feel guilty if they posed an actual threat to monsters even if they were kids. Am I looking to much into this yes I am, do I love your content and want to see the next part yes I do. Anyways thank you for coming to my TED talk and have a great day or night or whatever
while you are correct that this could imply that, I think it's mostly that the barrier would need to be make with a ceiling of power in mind. so in this scenario, if you use 7 souls,not all of them will use their entire energy or power into it, but just equal to any of the other souls
this is, I believe, why the barrier would break like that. although i'd always leave it to them actually experimenting. alphys says it's more complicated, and i believe that they have a way to quantify the power needed to break the barrier, and with the six souls they have when frisk falls down, only one more is needed to achieve the necessary energy
yeah you should be looking into this more. undertale has a lot of plotholes and inconsistencies that require headcanon to work

But the barrier was created by magic from 7 humans (with unknown souls) so the equal opposite force would be seven other souls. With each contributing equally
@@GenTem If that worked that way, then Boss monster's souls shouldn't be different form regular monster's soul, and we know that they are different.
Also for all they know the wizards's souls had completely different souls attributes/types from the seven gathered.
Hell, maybe the wizards had the same traits, or they repeated.
Also, a trained and experienced wizard's soul can't equal to child's soul that never used magic in their lives
Logically, for a barrier to use different traits, it means they couldn't overpower one or the other, or else the thing wouldn't be stable. Meaning, even with different traits, all of them had to contribute basically the same to the other, for it to actually work the intended way
Also we don't actually know if souls grow in power with adulthood. Chance is, it doesn't, since frisk's soul is already enough to make yourself immortal
Where to go from there with a determination soul?
I personally believe souls are always as powerful as they can be, what increases as you age are your stats instead

That's the thing, Frisk isn't that powerful
They don't have determination to reset or reload outside the barrier or inside with Flowey
It's PLAYER power that overpowers Flowey's determination and more
I'm pretty Chara talks to PLAYER that their power awakened her or mistakes the power for Frisk's when it's PLAYER'S
Also, it seems that the barrier acts as some kind of pocket diemnsion
Think about it.
Flowey has oONLY ly a fragment of determination that was also extracted from NON-determination soul and yet is able to reset,etc
Why would fragment would work when million of people on the surface live with their full determination ? Why they wouldn't feel the timeline shifting?
Simple ,barrier separated Undeground into separate diemsnison making Flowey the most determined and making time jumping possible only there
@@XMitrilXPL Ok first of all, the player determination don't make a difference, the player control Frisk but all the determination comes from Frisk in fact besides the control the player not do anything else, and before you say "but the player is what allowed Frisk to save and load" that is completely wrong all of the other humans before Frisk could save and load, but most IF not all of them gave up fighting against Asgore since he was still angry at that era making him way tougher than what Frisk had to deal with.
Second off Frisk uses they/them pronouns Frisk and Chara are neither confirmed Male or Female.
Is never stated directly in undertale if the saves are connected to the surface or not, but the "pocket dimension" thing is something a lot of people assume, is just a detail Toby never bothered to explain.
