Puttin' on the glitz and bling it on look like indie polishes. Glad OPI is taking more risks. That topper (all a Twitter in glitter) would look really good over white!
Only one crème?! Who are you and what have you done with OPI? I'm honestly so surprised! I always associate them with more basic crème colors. It's pretty cool to see them stepping outside their comfort zone, especially since I generally don't buy too many crèmes anymore. Maybe I'll have to pick a couple of these up to try :) As always, thank you for the in-depth review, Kelli!
Wearing a frost polish with a matte top coat is my go to; I love the satin finish, so I'm happy to see so many of these types of frosts/pearls in this collection!!
Hi Monique, I just tried that technique a couple days ago, after reading about it online. I loved it! I also then tried topping it with a glossy topcoat, because I had read that it would make the brushstrokes disappear. Disappointingly, they came back, though I honestly don't mind brushstrokes. I was just hoping to find a new trick for when using frosty polishes.
@@cat_623 I've never tried a glossy top coat over the matte one. Interesting!! I also like to do the ring finger nails in something sparkly, like one of the beautiful Holo Taco's that are available!!
Ooof that red creme is *chefs kiss* Do I already own about 10 OPI reds? Yes. Am I going to buy this one as well? Also yes! Great video! I love your swatches because you discuss everything so clearly about how many coats and how you're doing the coats - i.e. doing a thicker coat and then a lighter one for the streaks even though it was opaque in one coat! They really help me when I'm deciding which polishes to buy. My usual plan with the OPI holiday line is to pick up one of the mini sets - I get the one with the most shades I can see myself wearing and give them all a go and then when they go on clearance here on Boxing Day (happens every year without fail!) I'll buy the full sizes of the ones I like.

Personally only liked the Elfie, Gingerbread, and Bling it on. That's about it for me. They really threw me with those pearly pinks, they give me grandma vibes. But I really do appreciate the amount of options to choose from and the more indie approach they are going for in some of the colors. Love OPI, but I always end up with Essies on my way home from the Walgreens. Hoping they roll out with another small collection for winter and not just Halloween.
I am definitely interested to see what Essie comes up with this year! Hopefully something with more classic vibes to offset collections like this one haha
Oh my gosh...these are beautiful 😍 I especially love the gingerbread man one! I definitely will be picking that up using your discount. Also...that tree you were talking about is called a birch tree! It has the white and dark bark
Heart and Coal is so cool because of the texture! I don't normally like mattifying polishes but I love the way it dries down to a stony kind of finish, and the little rainbow flecks popping through, ugh, so pretty 🤩
I think this is the first time that I've bought one of the polishes BEFORE seeing your review! :D (I bought Naughty or Ice, and I'm soooo in love with it!)
All right! The four shades that initially caught my eye had been Heart and Coal, Puttin’ on the Glitz, This Gold Sleighs Me and Gingerbread Man Can. Gotta say Puttin on the Glitz I don't think I'll end up getting but the others for sure! This collection overall is pretty though! I can't say any of them look bad to me.
Thanks so much for the video! I think it's fantastic that OPI is trying some new things with their polish. That being said, the only ones I was a bit interested in were All A'Twitter in Glitter and Bling It On! Honestly, I'm kind of glad I liked only a couple of them as this was a big collection and I've been buying WAY TOO MUCH polish lately! 💜
All a’twitter in glitter looks like a re-release of OPI Snow Globetrotter from 2015. Heart and Coal looks like a dupe for My Voice is a Little Norse (also from 2015)

I love the first plum shade. Putting on the glitz looks like it would be good for a faux stone manicure. Maybe some type of faux marble. I'm not the biggest fan of frosty nail polish but this looks like an interesting collection.
I’m really surprised by this collection!! I usually don’t gravitate towards OPI but I really loved bling it on and puttin on the glitz, I even bought them and they’re still so pretty even if puttin on the glitz is a bit chunky. Even that glitter topper is gorgeous over black!! I’m glad you swatched them because I’ve been so curious about the rest of the colors!

Maybe this is just me but I feel like OPI is kinda stepping it up lately. Their finishes are more unique than I remember! I also like frosty polishes, so these are fun. The gingerbread one had me drooling! Thank you for your swatches!
Love your swatches Kelli! Overall I really liked this collection by OPI. I loved the Red-y for Christmas “red” (of course!) and the blingy ones at the end. Purple and Gingerbread ones are keepers 😍
I found the streaky shades outdated and annoying, the flaky chunky ones, mystical and the Gingerbread man can polish, really beautiful. Thanks, Kelli Marissa, for your consistent high quality reviews!
Impressive range! My favorites from OPI are their more jewel-toned shimmers, so I’m drooling over lets take an elfie and merry in cranberry, the latter is a color I’ve really wished cirque would do actually so I’m super excited to see this from OPI! Also that topper 🤩 I vote YES on sharing your paper planning work for your nail art! Personally nail art takes me sooo long it’s not worth doing, so my nails are usually pretty simple, but I’ve never tried planning it out on paper before and I’d love to see some expert examples!
What an unusual holiday collection! Gingerbread Man Can was definitely my favourite, followed by the two corally ones. This Gold Sleighs Me reminds me that I‘m still holding out for a Favourite Metallics (Gold/Silver/Copper) from you :)
This is a fun and different collection from them 😊👏👏 Earlier today I ordered a polish from the last OPI collection and now I regret not getting Gingerbread Man Can. Cause I was looking at swatches but it didn't seem that interesting but now I want it 😁
The icy, frosty colors have a major retro vibe and remind me of the Cutex (?) nail polish my aunts wore in the 70’s. My favorite colors in this collection was the first purple color that you demonstrated and the red.
Kelli, useless comment here but have to note you look awesome in this video. I love the whole look; hair and makeup with that gorgeous black print blouse. Now for actual response... I probably won’t buy anything from this collection but I do love OPI in general and already have tons of polishes by them. Love the Cucchio brand. I’ve ordered the base coat on your recommendation in the past and have reordered it after..good product.
I LOVE the topper on you! And I love those by themselves, too! You actually inspired me to do that more because I remember you mentioning it in another video! ❤️
Seeing all the photos/thumbnails everyone was putting out I didn’t think there would be anything I liked but I really did enjoy the first three and I actually loved heart and coal and puttin on the glitz!
I bought To All a Good Night and Let's Take an Elfie. Now I want to go back and get Gingerbread Man Can, it looks so nice on the nail. I painted my nails with To All a Good Night yesterday and noticed that in certain lighting, it looks a little more green-blue than slate, and in some light it's more of a dark blue black. It's fun to see how it changes in other lighting!
I found this collection online a few days ago, and immediately looked up your RUclips, and got disappointed when you hadn’t made a video on it yet... Now it’s up, so now I can buy the collection! ❤️🥰
I surprisingly love the red creme. The other colors I like but it doesn't scream holiday to me. Though, I might pick up the gingerbread color (I've been eyeing that since opi announced the collection). Thank you for swatching this collection, Kelli! Have a wonderful rest of your week 😁
I’m not crazy about the pearlized shades but I love that they branched out and included different types of polishes. I wouldn’t have expected OPI to release a polish like Bling it On but I really like the look of it.
I like this collection overall since I love frosty and pearly finishes for winter. Having some other finishes would have been nice too, but when I like more than half of the shades, the collection is a win for me. Dressed to the Wines is my favorite.
Those bright colors are focused on tropical countries. I live in Brazil. Our Christmas and New Year's is pretty warm. Most of us spend the hollidays on the beach and those colors make total sense. Interesting to see US brands thinking outside US. Beautiful review, Kelli. As usual ^^
Heart and Coal straight up reminds me of going to see Christmas lights on a cold winter night. PS that top is gorgeous and looks so nice on you. You are just a lovely lady.
Gingerbread man can, naughty or ice, bling it on and all twitter in my glitter are my favvvv wow havent been this hyped about opi in a while those are a really nice twist for them i think
Lets take an elfie is GAWJUZ. And that gingerbread shade actually has me interested in a brown for the first time...maybe ever? I love that you add the comparison images at the end of your videos - so helpful!
Hey Kelli! Thanks for another awesome swatch & review. OPI has great colors, but they aren’t cruelty free. After many years wearing only OPI & buying over 100 bottles of their polishes, I switched to Zoya and Orly, both cruelty free, 7+ free, & vegan. Your swatches are helpful because you describe the colors & application so well! 👍🏼 Thanks again. Looking forward to seeing your next reviews. Warm Autumn 🍁 wishes, Reilly🍀
I haven't finished watching but I think that bling it on would be perfect in like an amethyst nail art mani. I love all a twitter in glitter. I don't see a lot of brands mixing the different iridescent shifts together.
The colors themselves were all gorgeous. I'm just not a fan of the pearly/frosty finish. That weeded out half the collection for me. But I'm definitely picking up the purple Elfie one!
Hi Kelli I hope you are well and keeping safe! If I’m honest, I’m have mixed feelings on this one! There are some that I quite like and others I don’t like at all! I did have a lot of trouble seeing that icy blue and icy lilac one! Just PERFECTLY described as always Kelli! I am always ALWAYS so grateful to you for doing that!! Cannot wait for the next video! Keep safe and love you!!xxxxxxxxxx ;) ❤️❤️❤️❤️
okay I really love them all (except for puttin on the glitz)😍😍😍 I also looove the overall comparison at the end where we see the whole collection again it‘s so much easier to compare!! and i totally get that skintone struggle 😅 my skintone is so weird that sooo many colours just don‘t match lol😅 (even though the colour itself is beautiful)
You are the first one to layer All A Twitter In Glitter. 😍 So pretty!! That’s definitely on my list. I saw Banicured do it on a bare nail matte. And now the black just set it over the edge. I’m also crazy for Let’s Take an Elfie. Polish is cute, name is even cuter. 🙋🏽♀️Guess who got their collab plate?! 🙋🏽♀️ Also who a few days later saw it was in stock and ordered the Maniology Collab plate. 🤭 I’ll be busy this winter perfecting my stamping techniques. LOL!
The concept seems strong with this collection. It makes me think of a nighttime visit to Candyland during Christmas. The textures are a bit too dated for me though. Those are true streaky pearls from like the 90s.
I agree with you! They definitely had an idea and ran with it haha gotta admire the conviction there! But I figured it might be hit or miss with these types of finishes.
I liked the colors for the most part. Not a huge fan of the pearlised finishes but some are okay. I actually liked the very first color(purply pink) the most as well as the glittery ones at the end. Those looked gorgeous.

I liked a lot in this collection!
Love your top with the roses on it! So pretty!
Beautiful colors but my favorite is the the topper polish it was so beautiful over that black!
that top you're wearing and the way it matches your hair is everything. Also do you think it would be worth sponging those on?
I completely agree! It matches perfectlyyyy
I think sponging them is a great idea!! 👍 Any streaky polish works by just sponging the last coat 😉 I do like pearly polishes!
I like this collection- and the names are super cute. Also- Kelli- you look so pretty in this video! Love your hair and the shirt! ❤️🌹❤️
I found this collection online a few days ago, and immediately looked up your RUclips, and got disappointed when you hadn’t made a video on it yet... Now it’s up, so now I can buy the collection! ❤️🥰
Haha! Happy to help, sorry it's late 😜
Puttin on the glitz is my favorite! The glitter topper is nice too. Thanks for swatching!
I surprisingly love the red creme. The other colors I like but it doesn't scream holiday to me. Though, I might pick up the gingerbread color (I've been eyeing that since opi announced the collection). Thank you for swatching this collection, Kelli! Have a wonderful rest of your week 😁
Your swatch vids are my fav swatch vids, I love it!
I do love seeing them try something different for the holidays!!
These look incredible! I'm really impressed by OPI this season!
Love them! I think gingerbread man can might be my favorite ❤💅
It's seriously GORGEOUS.
This collection is beautiful and love your outfit 😍
Those bright colors are focused on tropical countries. I live in Brazil. Our Christmas and New Year's is pretty warm. Most of us spend the hollidays on the beach and those colors make total sense. Interesting to see US brands thinking outside US. Beautiful review, Kelli. As usual ^^
Heart and Coal straight up reminds me of going to see Christmas lights on a cold winter night. PS that top is gorgeous and looks so nice on you. You are just a lovely lady.
I love this collection! The brownish one and the last 2 are my favorite! I also love Heart and Coal
My God I've never clicked that fast on a video😂
I’d like to see a comparison between Merry in Cranberry and Be A Dahlia Won’t You? (And both with some matte top coat)
Gingerbread man can, naughty or ice, bling it on and all twitter in my glitter are my favvvv wow havent been this hyped about opi in a while those are a really nice twist for them i think
I'm really happy to see them trying something funky!!
Thank you for doing this, it really helped me decide what I wanted instead of getting the entire collection.
Lets take an elfie is GAWJUZ. And that gingerbread shade actually has me interested in a brown for the first time...maybe ever?
I love that you add the comparison images at the end of your videos - so helpful!
That glitter topcoat for a New Years mani 😍😍
I wish it was Christmas already 😭 love the video!! ❤️
Haha yeah I'm just excited for this year to end TBH lolll
I haven't finished watching but I think that bling it on would be perfect in like an amethyst nail art mani. I love all a twitter in glitter. I don't see a lot of brands mixing the different iridescent shifts together.
The colors themselves were all gorgeous. I'm just not a fan of the pearly/frosty finish. That weeded out half the collection for me. But I'm definitely picking up the purple Elfie one!
Let's Take an Elfie 💜 my favorite Red-y for the Holidays and the rest were pretty, too!
Yeah those two were classics!
I love when brands produce holiday collections with more summery colours in them. The Southern Hemisphere likes to be festive too!
Love it when you put glitter toppers over black
Hi Kelli I hope you are well and keeping safe!
If I’m honest, I’m have mixed feelings on this one! There are some that I quite like and others I don’t like at all!
I did have a lot of trouble seeing that icy blue and icy lilac one!
Just PERFECTLY described as always Kelli! I am always ALWAYS so grateful to you for doing that!!
Cannot wait for the next video!
Keep safe and love you!!xxxxxxxxxx ;) ❤️❤️❤️❤️
okay I really love them all (except for puttin on the glitz)😍😍😍
I also looove the overall comparison at the end where we see the whole collection again it‘s so much easier to compare!!
and i totally get that skintone struggle 😅 my skintone is so weird that sooo many colours just don‘t match lol😅 (even though the colour itself is beautiful)
Haha seriously it's such a struggle! Especially with yellow shades, I think because I'm so warm toned haha
@@KelliMarissa yeah I cannot wear yellow either, it just never suits my skintone😅
LOL!
Oh Love your top!!! Beautiful and looks great with your hair 😍❤️
Thank you so much!! ❤️❤️
I love the pearls and frost colors. I’ve been waiting a long time for the 70s trend to come back.
Yay!! I was anxiously awaiting this video from you. I gotta say Gingerbread Man Can is my favorite.. may have to pick that one up!!
Loved the collection and loved your blouse Kelly!! 🤩👌🌹😻 you look so chic!!
