Appreciate the honest feedback and review of our Juggernaut! We got our team taking notes for future iterations to be much more improved in order to be competitive in the space.
If Coop's noted issues are fixed, expecially the functionality bug fix with the footplate angle pin, this is a no brainer purchase if looking for a combo unit. Without the fixes, unfortunately it's a pass, that includes the weight horns and the pad quality. If you have a set price point/minimum margin target, perhaps have an option available to pay for upgrades? I'd pay extra for stainless horns and higher quality pads.
Why is the pendulum squat not an option on this? Wanna change the game make it 4-1 (leg press, hack squat, pendulum squat, and Calf raises) that CHANGES the game. Plus as the others have mentioned LOWER THE PRICE!
This wasn't a glowing review, and Bells of Steel is still active in the comments and POSTED IT on the product page. Massive respect & helps earn my trust. Looking forward to what a future version of this will look like.
I love the idea of having a unilateral leg press option, and bands! NICE!! It's a great option for individuals with left/right deficits. Especially for rehab. It's a lot less dangerous for older people who need to do unilateral work and don't have the balance to do it standing.
They're definitely not the best out there. Rouge and REP are better. As a Canadian i buy from them to support local business, and some of their prices are not bad.
@@tallndorkyyeah they all do this even outside of fitness. For instance I bought a rep blackwing thinking it was good but the actual bench is trash. Lots of movement in the seat. They should be embarrassed to sell that bench.
I’ve had a Bodycraft F660 for years. Smaller footprint, a little more versatile with calf exercises, easier to adjust, very smooth and a little less expensive. I’d love to see more reviews from other companies like body solid, body craft etc. some stuff is more expensive but for combo units buy once cry once.
Agreed…love this channel but I could never afford to equip my home gym the way it should be. I use a combination of home gym and commercial gym to get done what I need to. My so-called home gym uses up a tiny space and has enough dumbbells and weights in combination with a cheap bench and cable system to make it quite useful for an old guy like me. However I could never justify spending lots of money on it and thats where the commercial gym works when needing to use expensive machines etc.
I highly recommend looking into used commercial gym equipment. Hell used equipment in general. Yes, sometimes getting something new is nice, but don't be afraid to equip your gym with used stuff.
Coop, rewatching this has me thinking about how cool it would be for you and Dr Mike to do a collab on a review. You could be the machine/home gym expert, then he could come in for a minute and talk about how he’d use this, how he’d program it, and tips specific to that machine. You’d mentioned collating with him previously, as a huge Dr Mike Stan I think he’d agree with you on the iso leg press feature not being that much of a bonus but I think he’d disagree with liking hack squats more than leg presses, he mentions the additional fatigue of weight on your spine and is always fighting the fatigue-to-stimulus-ratio-fight Great review as always!
I own this, I had to do some TLC to it like lubing the safeties and the poles in the middle the carriage slides on. Fixing this has made a big difference and the large footprint and depth is great too
@@SBOutrichdid you do anything to address the leg press feet angle. Specifically the part where your Coop mentions that the bolt needs to be loose to even use the other angles?
Solid reviews! About your bracket for leg press, you assemble them the opposite way... that's why it hit. Can't add a picture here, but could send you if needed so you can fix this.
I love the concepts BOS have come up with compared to other companies. If you get the power rack and then the single cable system And you add this as well. You've got a super solid setup and you can do everything! Then get a leg Curling system that attaches to the rack and you can put it on their cable system❤
Somebody tell Coop that Fettle fitness has LEGIT equipment that you can get plate loaded or selectorized. So for that leg machine he should give them a look.
@@mixteam209 the price is higher than what I remember so my bad. Of course if people are wanting selectorized they are expecting to pay more. Ignoring the BoS implementation issues, I would like iso. I am back into workouts after a right knee replacement last summer (osteoarthritis). Iso would make it harder for me to cheat with my left leg and it would be easy to catch unconsciously being lazy with my right leg.
@@BrandonSchwartz1 I agree doing one leg at a time is perfectly fine.
