As someone who loves horror as an art, and as someone who's seen a lot of horror movies, Terrified genuinely might be the scariest horror movie I've ever seen personally. I really enjoyed seeing your reaction to it.
yeee terrified!!! I was waiting for this moment! the only person who saw the movie. What a pride! I am super happy! When I look for videos of people watching this movie, I only find trailers or reviews. I'm glad to see you enjoyed it! a huge hug friend! I already want to see in October what other surprises you will react!
Subscribing for being the only reactor on this movie I found. I like horror movie reactions but i like non-English horror movie reactions more, because the concept of horror of other cultures is so refreshing and unfamiliar and therefore more terrifying.
Also, I originally watched this movie while my toddler was having her afternoon nap beside me on the couch, 17:20 made me jump so hard it actually woke her up 😂
Revisiting your reaction cause you’re like the only person that’s reacted to this movie and I continue to fail in my attempts to get my wife to watch it with me 😂
Ma' dude! Just watched this tonight and I found it to be so eerie and exactly the kinda vibe that is missing from American horror these days! It felt real in a way that most mainstream horror doesn't. The scene with the dead boy at the table was bone chilling, because it had all the ingredients of a nightmare that anyone could have. I dunno, its hard to put it into words. But as soon as I finished watching I came to watch your reaction! I look forward to you reacting to some more horror now that Halloween time is here!
@@therobw I dont know if this movie has english subtitles, but you should react to argentinian movie "Esperando la carroza". Thanks for answering me :)
Ah yes this one was a good one, quite enjoyed it! There are so many good horrors from around the world so I hope you get time to expand more on that. When it comes to Asian horrors I can recommend a ton, been collecting since 1999! :D I have mostly Japanese & Korean horrors but also a couple of Chinese, Thai etc Spain also makes some really good ones, El Orfanato (the Orphanage 2007) by J.A Bayona with a little help from Guillermo Del Toro & it is stunningly tragic with some creepy elements to it ofcourse :) Hope you have a good week! Cuddles to Stella
Yeah I need to explore more international horror flicks! Feel free to drop any of those recs my way! I was thinking of checking out Kairo (Pulse) in the next couple weeks. Stella says hey back!
@@therobw Oh Kairo, then you are already on the right path! Has one of the best creepiest scenes, so simple but very effective. Ofcourse there are the classic ones like Ringu & Ju-on (the grudge) but there are plenty other lesser known but just as good (some better) or like the more recent ones like the zombie flick Train to Busan which is in my opinion the best zombie flick ever cause it ripped my heart out twice lol never cried to a horror movie before 😜 But we can start with some other older classics that got US remakes, like Dark water 2002 which US version is probably the best remake out of all the asian horror remakes they have done so both could be worth a watch & should you not find the OG you can always go with the US version. A Tale of Two sisters 2003, US remake called The Uninvited. It was ok, more for the teen audience though & nowhere near as good as the OG. One missed call 2003 (remake 2008) It actually has 3 movies, I love them all lol Had the ringtone they use in the movies as my ringtone for over 10 years! Remake version is mjä The Eye 2002 (Remake 2008) Personally I kinda liked the remake aswell although its not as good, but it has Jessica Alba! 😅 Shutter 2004 (remake 2008, 2008 was the year of Asian remakes!) OG is way better, much better creepy to it. Into the Mirror 2003 remake Mirrors (2008) is ok as it goes more for the gore factor which is always fun but story wise Im not as fond off. Alot of the time the difference between the asian versions vs the US is the creepy factor. US often go for the jump scare scary faces type while the asian version its more about the psychological horror, let it creep on you but they also slay with the twists which is why I love em, so hard to figure out whats really what but they also usually, make it make sense in the end, not just for the twist itself so to say :) Would recommend Kairo but you already got that one so no need. Now these are just those that has remakes. There are so many more good ones so if you find along your journey & get the chance to watch just take it! Some can be harder to find, some can be found full versions here on YT & some one have to get other ways but yea I got a loooooooong list haha 😁 Some quick examples though, Whispering Corridors, movie series with standalone movies, starting with Momento Mori 1999 & nr 6 The Humming, came out last year. Wishing stairs & Voice letter are my fav ones. Also APT. 2006 & The Cat 2011 Both such tragic tales! That should start you off 🤣
This film really felt like what “1408” SHOULD have been at a visceral level. Ostensibly, the genre is “paranormal” but it’s just a fever-dream of altered reality pulpiness. In the King short story, a point is made that “there are NO ghosts in 1408”. Even the kooky half-baked explanation for the goings-on in this film is so bizarre that it doesn’t ruin the batshit madness.
