I just LOVE Oriana for my own personal scent bubble, but agree if you are looking for Delina type beast mode and projection, this is not the PDM for you. It is a very pricey "skin scent" and you must bring your nose to the skin after 2 to 3 hours even with overspraying. All that being said, it is still a beautiful, perfectly blended fragrance and a keep/love for me. The bottle, and scent profile description got me.

I don't need to mention it because I think most people know my opinion on this one haha but I love Oriana - I find it lasts me 5-6 hours and on clothing it will last me for days. I can smell it coming off of myself throughout the time I'm wearing it; I also don't just spray on skin thought I spray clothing and sort of all over getting my clothes as well (how I usually wear perfume), and I'd give this moderate performance, not weak. But everyone's exprience with a perfume is different. I also happen to love the scent and don't get that detergent/chemical smell some people are describing although I can see where they might feel that way if I smell it in that light. Love your top as well Emy!! :)

You have just solved a mystery for me🙏🙏. I’m not looking for Love but I’ve been very curious about Perdizione lately😉🤔. It’s been a toss between the latter, GDN which I have a sample of and Sintra which was very sweet for my taste. I really enjoy Oriana. I agree that it dries down to a laundry detergent type smell, but then I just think I smell…clean and fresh. Lol. I also want Sintra.

I sampled Parfums de Marly Oriana today and I am SO HAPPY I did because I highly dislike it. I was expecting something similar to Kilian Love and the opening was promising. But after about 3 minutes I get that chemical cleaner vibe you mentioned. I was so close to blind buying and Im glad I waited. That would have been a complete fail.

I thought I was the only one who got the impression of a detergent-like smell and thought this really didn't last at all. It's such a shame since I had such high hopes for getting that stunning hot-pink bottle, but maybe I'll test out more and see if it's okay for a clean-fresh summer scent since I'm lacking that scent-profile. Love the review and the analysis on alternatives recommendation.

Oh my goodness! I thought I was the only one who thought the dry down of Oriana smelled like soap/detergent. I also agree that the longevity was not the best. The opening is beautiful, though.
Yes, the opening is great, but everything goes downhill after that 😀
I adore the opening of Oriana but I don't really like that powerness of the drying. In which part is Oriana simmilar to Sintra? Because it's the one that interest me really
Emy I feel the same way I get a waxy chemical smell in the opening for at least an hour. I only like the fragrance 1-2 hours later. I don’t love the fragrance. I did purchase it because I got 25% off but I really don’t see myself reaching for it. Most likely it will go too my daughter.

After seeing so many bigger channels acting as shills for PDM ( and other brands, yes I’m looking at you Demi Rawling - ugh) I finally typed in Parfums de Marly NON SPONSORED review and you came up! I have so much more trust for Smaller channels such as yours that aren’t paid by brands. The only big channel I’ll watch is Sebastian atThe Perfume Guy. He’ll tell it like it is. I wonder how many fragrance newbies get swayed by these terrible lying reviewers?
Oh god, Sintra was my first scrubber. I couldn’t get past that opening - so screechy! Thankfully I only bought a sample. (I usually blind buy bottles )
Kilian Love Don’t be Shy is my absolute favorite fragrance but the performance is DISMAL. I wish I could get my hands on a bottle of the original in the black bottle! If I had known that one was going to be discontinued I would’ve bought 10 bottles!

Hi Emy! I am so glad you made this video, I was worry about my nose. There is no way I can stand that Oriana. I don’t care what they say, about it, is HORRIBLE. I love PDM and I have all of them except this one. Will never buy it.
I was worried it was just me. I love so many PDM frags, and this was very subpar

Oh, you too. Yeah...I was expecting much more from Oriana
Oh, not sure what it is either, Oriana have a kind of a grim note, something wasnt good in there, the same as the pink juice in one of the Hermes Twilly. Live love love all the other Parfums de Marly and the Ginger Twilly, but Oriana is definitely the only PDM I’m not buying.

I bought Oriana and it went back to Saks the next day. It’s a body mist! Poor quality! I got Kilian LDBS instead and performance is a little better.

I am not interested in Oriana but I am super interested in buying Sintra; the performance is excellent and that is what I expect with that price tag, and the scent is beautiful. 🤍
