- It's time to let the budgie that I found loose into my bird room as no one claimed her.
Hopefully she will get along with my flock and my males will not fight over her.
I am nervous and excited at the same time. #Loveofpets

Were you excited to see the budgie join my flock? You can watch the video on how I caught the budgie! ruclips.net/video/gHek_zZm710/видео.html
i am excited
She still has a completely dark eye so she is definitely less than a year old, I'd say no more than 15 weeks judging by her head barring aswell :) They moult out the barring near the cere as they come out of baby-hood
I was excited!
That went really well! Hopefully it will continue to work out. My favourite bit was actually Sterling - he was more interested in checking out her cage incase there were tasty morsels in there! I k ow how their minds work 😂🍏🌽🥕
Omg. I thought you would release her into the Wild. Lol 😂
Lol, I am learning to make my titles like yours, full of drama, 😂😂
I think you are a bird whisperer. God has blessed you to watch over the orphan birds.
Such happiness
She is beautiful!! I hope she continues to live peacefully in your beautiful flock!
Yay, May found her new home and posse!
Your budgie Sky is a very social nice budgie. It's nice that he made both of the new budgies welcome.
I am so very happy May fit in so far! That is great!
That is a Very Lovely Video my Buddie Blueberry and was very happy singing and shouting when i am watching also the video taken very professionally that we can feel your room close and far . thank you.l besides you are a nice person when was a beginner i ask a simple question through Facebook you reply me
I wish I was a budgie, then I could just chill out and fly around.........your house......and not have to work a crappy lowly paid job just to survive. Yeah Im gonna come back as a budgie in my next life.
I love Jack, he’s so cute 🥰
Yay jack and may are my birds I swear I am not lying may is called Rosie and jack is called flyers yay you found them thank you thank you
What??? Fr man?
U r funny, "Sky got 1rst dibs" lol. I'm glad the birds welcomed May.
OMG someone else who has a #birdroom 💗💗💗🐦🐤🐦🐤🐦
👍🏼so happy for you 👏🏼May and the flock 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🕺🏻
There's nothing quite like the excitement of making new friends.
So glad May has settled down !
Me too, it's like she has been here for years.
I'm sooo happy lil May fits right in your flock! She must be sooo happy to be around the other budgies! :D I hope she finds a special friend to hang out with in your flock! :D
I’m so glad she is staying with you with no fights. I’m glad she is doing great with no health issues either.
Thanks! She seems pretty healthy. I had her poop checked and it was fine
Thanks for sharing youre videos im youre new subscriber... i love the birds also. Someday i just want a big cages and a lots of love birds or birds like youre's... god bless from phillilines...👍👍👍
OMG, budgie therapy! Never a dull moment! Love how nurturing you are!
I love budgies x3
So glad they are all getting along!
I love your bird room! Donna, I really enjoy your videos. May look like she likes the bird room. 💖🐥🐦😊
Yap. She is _female_ over 1 year
Awww i am so happy for May ❤..happy days ahead
Awesome no fights beautiful birds thanks for sharing have a wonderful day 👍👍❤️❤️
She definitely looks female to me... I think she's young too. She's moulted out but the blue/white cere is very common in young hens (usually 3-6 months) and I can't make out her iris in any of the pictures... I hope you manage to integrate her into your flock!
Yay may ❤️
Great News! I wanted her to be able to stay with you in a good, loving home!!!
Love this! Your bird room is my favorite.😊
That was fun to watch!
You name it Jeremiah.
This is very cool! I love how you immerse yourself in your flock. So heartwarming :)!
Thanks for the videos !
Wish you all the best little girl! ❤️ I hope you will find a boyfriend soon! 😀
You recognize me! Thank you! ❤️
I have a question.
Six days ago I set up a box.
The female was constantly coming in the first 2 days.
Day 3, They mated
Day 4, Again mated
The 5th and 6th-day female is entering the nest rarely and the male more often.
If I understand well, the egg has begun to be created in the clutch and I have to wait 9 days to be laid? :/
If she turns to “he” you could call him “Maynard” 😂😂😂
Your such a sweet soul , love your videos . Thanks for sharing 💙🤗
🥰
We found a baby Quaker in a tree and brought it inside. We tried for over a month to find its owner and no one claimed him so we kept him and hes a happy little bird.
Their all so cute!
That was fun to watch. Hope May settles in. So far so good !
I've never known budgies to have a problem with other budgies, the occasional small squabble is the worst I saw in my 15-20 years with them, I never thought about whether a budgie would fit in, I always just knew it'd work out well, maybe I was just lucky though!
I have never had too much trouble adding Budgies but was worried because she will be the only female but so far so good. Jack sometimes fights with the others, he rips up their tails and flight feathers and I don't know why as their was no female until I introduced May a few days ago.
@@Loveofpets my first guess would be sexual frustration (coming from a dog point of view), they don't neuter birds so they have all of the hormones rushing about, and no way of getting rid of them, and if he's bred in the past he's fully aware of what he's missing, I was guilty of allowing mine to breed!
😀 nice!
Awww how fun!! Love the name.
Awesome video again jack sparrow has a big interest in her. Love your channel👍
Her and Jack are honestly so lucky. Most parrot species that are released or lost don't live very long. What good luck they have to be found by you!
Thank you 🥰
Here in Canada they wouldn’t last outside past September
I love your rosy burkes I finally got a blue bungee I think it's a boy he just now started playing with toys and eating good I named him Pocko he is so sweet
Pocko is a nice name!
Beautiful birds.
I thought it a boy. Since it nose is baby blue. Because my parakeet had light blue then went to dark blue
I'm so happy she found you!
So she’s in! We watched your video in the airport :-) Lovely budgie. I hope she falls in love with the blue boy!
She is doing great! It's like she has been with the flock forever. I was so worried but you never know, things can change but hopefully not.
I can totally understand why May took 30 minutes to leave her cage. She is probably reminiscing the last time she left the cage and got completely lost. That must have been a frightening ordeal until you and your husband found her.
May is going to be the queen of the budgie flock. Let’s see who she chooses to be her king! So happy that they are getting along.
Does your husband handle the birds or are you the main caregiver? Does he knows all their names?
You are probably right about being nervous to leave the cage as she was so hungry and I am sure she would not of made it one more day outside, she was so weak and fluffed up.
I wonder who her king will be. It will probably be between Jack and Sky.
My husband does not remember all their names but he gives them nicknames that he can remember, lol
I am the main caregiver and he helps a little bit.
Love your videos! So cute!
Thanks so much for your video! I would love to see a live stream on your channel! :)
I'm sure other people have said something similar, but I just have to say that I almost had a panic attack when seeing the title for this video before clicking it. Since the entire title doesn't show right away, it looks like "It's time to release the budgie that I found!" but then if I hover over the title, the rest shows. Glad she's doing well!
She's a she awwww......yes been waiting on her progress
AAAAAH FINALLY! If you do make another 30 min video, this couls be a great addition for budgie behavior
That's crazy you have found two budgies in your neighborhood
I know. I wonder if someone has an aviary they escaped from or it's just coincidence.
@@Loveofpets well I'm glad you are there to take them in 😁🐦
YOU HAVE SOME ENGLISH BUDGIES TOO
I was shocked by reading the title of this video.... Well u and ur birds are tooo cute. .I love your budgie room and all pets... Actually I love animals and birds..u r doing really great job....Lots of love from india🇮🇳😘😘😘😘😘😘
I may be wrong, but I think females are more skittish than males. I at least know that about my two budgies. And since you caught her instead of buying her that makes her a lot more skittish because she hasn’t been around humans or at least not lately. One day I want to have as many budgies as you and also a cockatiel!
I am from India.can. i visit you bird room.😄😄
WOW iv never seen a grey budgie my whole entire life XD
brown ceres mean that they are female and blue is male
How do you keep up with cleaning all the bird cages
I took a closer look and saw that splash is female
Splash is male because his cere is pink.
@@Loveofpets yeah but Male budgie have blue nose but I think it might be a Male cause it was a lil blurry. My bird blueberry was having blue nose but it was a female..... but it is not alive any more
You should make a video of how you get all your birds in there cages
I did make a video on how I get my birds back in the cage. Here it is ruclips.net/video/sENmEcL3S-Y/видео.html
Yay she(he?) fits! :)
So many budgies! Hope it does not become a yearly thing finding one. Makes me wonder... Well if anything she couldn't be in a better place. I hope it continues to go well with her integration. So far so good. Too bad a owner didint show. I dont think she or Jack were ever banded. Are the small birds just not banded as regular in the hobby? Youd think they would be in case things like this happen.
Most regular budgies are not banded. The English Budgies are usually banded.
@@Loveofpets I see, thanks for explaining. Im not really seeing much on banding other than its for ID and an open band means its from the wild. Is it just cultural/regional differences and preference? Is there a reason why some pet birds are banded as opposed to not other than money and motivation? Im just really curious as I thought it was common practice but I see it is not.
Most reputable breeders will band the birds. Banding is for identification and keep track of the birds. Bands are very inexpensive. It's not mandatory to band birds. Some reputable breeders may also decide not to band either because the band's did not arrive on time or they forgot to order them on time.
Some breeders that just breed randomly or their bird happened to have babies don't band because either they don't have access to bands and or they don't have experience to put the bands on or they believe the birds should not have a band. It's more difficult to tell which baby is which when not banding if the babies all look the same. Also if the breeder DNAs the babies they need to know which bird is which.
if she turns out to be a he you could name it May-ple
How many birds do you have? Also, where did you get your cages? And all of your budgies are males? That’s crazy! 😝 (if the new budgie turns out to be a female, I hope nothing goes wrong! 😰)
I have 20 something birds. I should count them, lol. I got my cages at various bird stores or pet stores. Here is a link to my Amazon Store, you can see all the cages that I recommend www.amazon.com/shop/loveofpets?listId=3C01JI518HT2S&ref=exp_inf_sh_mb_list_pub_loveofpets_cp
May is doing great and I hope it continues to stay that way.
My sky looked the same way, she most certainly is a female.
Hello can u post any video instruction or animation about how to fix broken leg of canary cause of plaque inflamationand what to do in case of one of the leg is cut
Unfortunately I am not a vet and an avian it's best to go to an avian vet for that.
Make sure to continue looking for owner
Post your new FID on parakeet pro of fb they will tell you exactly how old she is. It is definitely a female
I would not want to miss even ONE of your videos..., but... can I know your name? I’ve met Marlene and April and Jaymie and Carolyn...!
My name is Donna 😀
12:37 the peninsula one what is it
If u released then it will go and die bcoz of the weather. 😐😞😔
How many budgies do u hav
What kind of birds is the lil yellow n pink at end of the video?
Hi, it's a bourke parakeet
I have 1 Betta and 1 blue bidgie
Wow, this is certainly an exciting video on the welcoming of May to your flock! Seems like she did well flying around the bird room and interacting with your birds; I love seeing all your other birds as well. I hope you can keep May; you provide a great home for your birds. Always great to see Jack Sparrow; as I look closely at him, the front of his head is now white, whereas when I looked at last year's video of your catching and releasing him to your flock, the front of his head was striped with black lines/speckles. His body color is definitely more blue now. Is this common for budgies for the front of their heads to change to white? I have 2 green male budgies and always thought I could tell the difference in each with their head color; one has pale yellow head and other has stripes, but now I notice the stripes thinning out.
The stripes usually disappear when they mature depending on color mutation. I never expected May to fit in right away and I am so happy.
I never saw a pet bird outside until today when two or three little parrots (they may have been lovebirds) were right in front of my window in the trees and on the roof of the neighbours house. I wonder where they escaped? -_-
Oh wow! Did you try to catch them?
@@Loveofpets No. I live in a city in the third floor and the trees are high also. They seemed quite excited and not confused and flew away after a few minutes. Parrots are not domestic here ( just to clarify ;) ).
I hope someone can catch them. Some birds do have fun for a while until they get exhausted and hungry or have to deal with the weather.
@@Loveofpets I hope so. :)
Sterling looks a bit like my budgie but my budgie looks like he does not have any cheek spots, and his throat spots are like washed out like someone spilled a drop of water on them.
I don't know what color mutations my budgie has. He's a grey budgie with a white tail and grey spangle looking wings but he has some thin, black arrow shapes too mixed with the grey on the wings.
He sounds beautiful!
Why don't you try to breed Jack with May and see if it is successful
I don't want to breed them because I will end up keeping all the babies. 10 is enough for now 😃. Although they would produce nice babies.
2:41 what are the birds on your right
Are you talking about the pink ones?
I had a blue girl named sappy she did die not to long ago 😭😭😭😭
Sorry for your loss
12:37 what bird is that
What color was the bird? If it's the pink bird it's a Rosey Bourke parakeet
Pink
It's a Rosey Bourke Parakeet
If she’s a girl my budgie is lonely 😞 so he would be soooooo happy if he could have a mate we do have two other birds but they hate him and will bite his feet😭😢 he’s ok tho but I live so far away 😢😭😔 and yes he is happy because he can talk to the other birds but still he wants to play 😔
That's too bad they don't like him. Will you get him a friend?
Love of Pets that’s what I want to do
YAAAY FINALLY I AM GETTING A MALE COCKATIEL TOMMOROW TELL ME SOME NAMES PLEASE!!!
Btw amazing video
My first male as a kid was charlie, the one that was given to me when I was 9 I named dude, my current male is branch. Have fun with it! I have a very special place in my heart for cockatiels, still taming my current male, his girlfriend is sweet as can be!
@@andrewsavage1872 wow so cute I think I might name him sans how about that?
@@ajoe8847 if you and your new boy can agree with it for anywhere up to the next 30 years! They can live a very long time with good care and a touch of luck, Charlie was roughly 10 when we got him (I was an infant) and when life took a big change, he was almost 20 when my "father" rehomed him and dude, I'd bet my bottom dollar he traded them away for drugs, but I was 10 so couldn't do anything about it 😢
@@andrewsavage1872 man that is so sad...😭
@@ajoe8847 justifies not talking to him in almost two decades, don't mess with my birbs man! 😁
I whish u talk to us before u go into bird room can't hear u .
Sorry that you can't hear me, I try my best and my birds are so loud
You spent two minutes talking wow stop
