Good reaction and well done ordering the big pack of everything ... I couldn't justify that to myself or my bank balance (and couldn't think where I would have put it all). This is definitely a "big intro" type of song. As with many of their songs it will only really come to life when they play it live. I'm with you on 'Metalizm' - can't wait to hear that ....
Metalizm sounds like it might be a Shanti Shanti Shanti 2.0 but maybe not. just that clip gives that feeling to me. like The Legend i think will be The One 2.0. the new songs going to be so awesome live.
Nice to see you being one of the first reacting to this new BM single. 💯 They did it again with this epic song as the intro for this new album, all the tracks were already teased with the full titles, can't wait for Time Wave and Light and Darkness. This is another song that could perfectly fit with Attack On Titan Final Season Part 3, i would love to see that.🙏 Here's the lyrics, thanks for sharing and kitsune up.🦊🤘🔥 "METAL KINGDOM" lyrics: LYRICIST: Kitsune of Metal God ARRANGER: TatsuoMetal We’re going through the passing times This world is crumbling We live while wandering A heart lost in darkness Hold me tight until dawn In that bright place Aim for tomorrow Raise your hands to the lord Raise your voice to the world Raise your flag. Nice reaction, thanks! I find it totally epic a great opening theme and Su's vocals... OMFG... I can't even get a proper adjective. She's going to kill it live and I can't wait to witness that! And I agree, "METALIZM" looks pretty crazy. 🤘🦊
One listen and it is cool! And Su- can sing so good! It's just my tastes, but I like it better than Devine Attack. Monochrome is exceptional, though, haha. I am not familliar with anything about the West because I'm a Japanese, but I had some images of ancient Jerusalem, that area of the land after listening to it. It reminds me of a history of hardship, a wandering people, and a holy place to aim for, etc...The lyrics are as serious as ever! Thank you from Japan!
This song Is a perfect example of why I think Su Is THE VERY BEST vocalist out there. Fantastic vocal range! I like this song a lot, I won't rank It against the other two because I believe they all have their own merit and stand alone In how different they are. But I agree that It will sound really epic live... Can't wait to join the crowd reaction In April. The new album as a whole will be on another level! BabyMetal Forever! 🤘🦊❤️🦊🤘
Su is at the peak of perfection, Moa too in tune her voice is very beautiful... imagine the choreography and the lights, the Kami Band and The Ones singing together as they raise their hands to the Queen of Hiroshima and the Princess of Aichi, kneel down to Metal royalty!
This reminds me of Shine. As like Shine, it didn’t hit me on the first listen. But after a few more listens, I like it. Not all BabyMetal songs are equal. I do agree that this track would be better live as it has sections where the crowd participation will be spectacular, especially knowing how the BabyMetal crowd are. Arms ups. Chanting with Su.
@@MrProthall I care about the emotions performed in it. But not all BabyMetal songs are equal to me. Overall great but some songs hit more than others. I prefer Kagerou over Shine. Syncopation over Arkadia.
BABYMETAL Season 2 will start in Makuhari, Japan in 2023😊I think this song will bring the audience together in a live performance. This concert is scheduled to be delayed and viewed in movie theaters throughout Japan in a month, so the world will soon be able to see the latest footage of the stage. I am sure you will be able to see the beauty of this song at that time. Please look forward to it 😁. The lyrics of this song is a song of support for those who are striving to live in the present.
My sister sings soprano in a Broadway production & she is dumbfounded here. How can a very Suprano vocalist which Su-Metal clearly is. Reach so far down into nearly Alto territory here. Speaks to someone who is a very highly skilled vocalist. My sister said getting Mezzo-Suprano is good for a vocalist in this range. Getting to the levels A5 B5 Su-Metal is here is nearly unheard of. Great metal singers have one smooth thread of voice from low notes to high notes without a break. Suzaka is nearly there right now. Which shows you she has been practicing a lot here over the last couple years. You don't get to this level by sitting on your a** . What an amazing display here & we are just getting started. :,b
It's weird, I'm swinging between the best of the three released so far, and the weakest. No middle ground. The more I hear it, the more I like it. It's surely a song written as an opening number for an arena concert. Imagine if you can get 30 to 50 thousand punters singing that hook along with girls and the backing track ... it will be awesome. Also, Babymetal always bring the instruments higher up in the mix for live performances, so expect chunkier bass and guitar lines. I think this is going to be monstrous in a live setting. My one query is who will be in the Kami Band. You can't expect hired session musicians to hang around for Babymetal to decide to end their hiatus. I am expecting a bit of a lineup change, but that should be ok, it has never hurt them in the past. I'm really looking forward to this album.
I do very much like this song. I believe this is an intro song and seems I was right also on Divine Attack being some waht an intro song. For me I do like this song more than Devine Attack. But Monochrome still deffently at the top. For intro songs I think this has more complexity than Babymetal Death, In The Name Of, and Future Metal. However. Death has the most crowd energy so far but I can see this one coming second in energy or first if done properly since this song does feel way theatrical. After it goes to In The Name Of, and Metal Galaxy last. I wonder if we will get a second Intro song like light and dark side, but I have feeling that we may get one and I would be more happy for that. The songs on this album also are less time, but have feeling live it would have extended theatrical versions. Finally, we may get more songs after somewhat tied to the album like BXMXC, BBAB, Syncopation, or Dusk Till Dawn alternate stuff they may hide to reveal at concerts. Finally, you can deffently feel how Dusk Till Dawn influence in this song and how very specific certain things are done. Thanks for your insite and deffently waiting for the more heavy hitter songs like Monochrome in energy, but overall this song met expectations for me as intro song with being able to expanded upon live. Very much enjoyed these lyrics when translated and feeling of them, it feels a more complex way saying stuff In The Name Of style of lyrics, but having a even more hopeful journey feel with a nod at the end to not giveup on Babymetal it seems since there is much to come to this new era of them and everyone. Have good day anyone reading this and stay safe.
Song is too chill for me. Su's voice is beautiful, nice to have more Moa, but the energy is too low. Probably a banger live, but on a playlist? Not sure
I have to agree. I've said this before but it seems to me that, since Yui left, BABYMETAL has lost their kawaii. In fact, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that BABYMETAL is now just another J-metal band with a pinch of J-pop. Sadly, the kawaii is gone. 😢
I'm disappointed. If I had heard this song blind, having no idea who it was, I would have never guessed it was BABYMETAL. Make no mistake, Su-metal has an astounding voice, but this isn't BABYMETAL. This, and the other two tracks that have been released ("Divine Attack" and "Monochrome") are starting to feel like a Suzuka Nakamoto solo album featuring Moa Kikuchi. The kawaii isn't there, and BABYMETAL is starting to sound like just another J-metal band. In my opinion, much of "Metal Galaxy" was like that with a mere smattering of kawaii. Leave us hope that the remaining seven tracks of "The Other One" are more "BABYMETAL-ish". 🦊🤘 😢😢
It's ok, but for sure this is the weakest track so far imo, as a concert intro live it will probably be a lot better, still good, just not great 🇯🇵✌️🔥🔥🦊

"METAL KINGDOM" lyrics:
LYRICIST: Kitsune of Metal God
ARRANGER: TatsuoMetal
We’re going through the passing times
This world is crumbling
We live while wandering
A heart lost in darkness
Hold me tight until dawn
In that bright place
Aim for tomorrow
Raise your hands to the lord
Raise your voice to the world
Raise your flag. Let’s be together...
Stand up KINGDOM
Unleash your FREEDOM
Endless journey. Endless dream
Wake up KINGDOM
Get it, FREEDOM
Raise the signal, go on without hesitation
Trust your friend
Negative words
I don’t need a way back
In that bright place
Let’s live tomorrow
Raise your head to the lord.
Raise your sword to the sky
Raise your fists. Let’s be together...
Stand up KINGDOM
Unleash your FREEDOM
Endless journey
Endless dream
Wake up KINGDOM
Get it, FREEDOM
Prove it Burn your life
Believe in miracles
It’s the beginning song
Deliver our voice
Resonate, our voices
Open up a new era
Let it ring, it’s our voice
Play it, our singing voice
The sword of pledge
Raise it up for tomorrow
The unknown path
Create it with those hands
Stand up KINGDOM
Unleash your FREEDOM
Endless journey Endless dream
Wake up KINGDOM
Get it, FREEDOM
It’s dawn, bathing in the light
Cut through the darkness
I'll always try to be first if possible ;)

Very exciting months ahead of us
"METALIZM" is the song i'm more excited to hear. As a psy-trance and metal lover, seeing Babymetal fuse those genres together is insane!

This song hits super hard if you care about the emotions being conveyed tho

Nice reaction. I bet that with time this will be one of your favourite tracks 😆

The new album seems like a "Soft" Metal one.
