    That’s way bad ass fellas!! I really wanted one of those “I-beams” or whatever it’s called from proline but I don’t have an old SCX-10.2. And when it came out I couldn’t find a used SCX-10.2 that was worth the $. I think proline took a little too long to put the I-beam on the market….. but I’m glad you guys got use of it!!! 👍

    That's a badass lil Ranger. I have an SSD Trail King chassis I've been contemplating the twin I-beam setup after the front diff completely dies.😂

    Gotta get that suspension tuned in. Looks rock solid

    • @ProNoobRC
      @ProNoobRC  Месяц назад

      Yup! Next video. Shock tuning is definitely a must as you stated it’s far too stiff right now and not scale enough to look good

      @@ProNoobRC I’m excited to watch!! That the thing with these trucks. Suspension is the most important part for performance. And then it’s amplified on Rc’s because they are so light. You really gotta work it and mess with springs, oils, drilling plungers to get the suspension to cycle the same way. Also on prerunners. The common travel especially on beamed ranger builds 14 front and 16/18 rear. To get it to float like the real trucks you want to shoot for 60-75% droop in your travel at static ride height. That way you have drop when the suspension cycles down. And the suspension is already loaded for when it has to cycle up. Setting it up like that would also correct the ride height and add some scale realism too

    Totally awesome looking rig dudes! Glad u found a new body so u can actually use the thing instead of it just being a shelf queen.

    I always just add or subtract eyelet length on the bottom when I want more travel or height. Truck looks amazing though!

    Thanks for the vid, and I love trophy truck builds. I'd love to see one built true to scale. For 1/8 scale, that'd be a 15.625 wheelbase and 4.625" tires. 1:8 would be 13.9/4.1

    How fast can you make one of these

    Any body know if the rear axle is locked cause I just don't see how it would drive on anything other than Ice or mud because it would flip right over

    • @ProNoobRC
      @ProNoobRC  Месяц назад

      It’s locked just like the full size rigs. They just slip the inside tire but mostly drifting and both back tires are spinning the entire time anyway. If it had a differential, it would constantly unload the tire that would be light or up in the air and you wouldn’t be able to get the power to the ground so the rear axle has to be locked, which they call having a spool.

    • @thebigsho665
      @thebigsho665 Месяц назад

      @@ProNoobRC then it's not fully locked and you would only be able to turn one way without flipping that why you won't be able to drive fast I put a brushless system on a locked rock crawler yrs ago and if you touched the throttle it would do a stand still back flip
