I have one of these...I highly recommend it. Theres a little learning curve,,,but once you get used to it it's wonderful.

I have a Cat 289D1, not the D3 version and I have been told this does not work with my machine. Cat should make a simpler version of this to work with the older models.

@@streffert 3rd party options ??? i was told same i have a very nice 257D and i want to purchase one of these but i was told it won't communicate with my ECM i think its BS that CAT can't make this compatible why should i have to purchase another machine at added cost because cat can't make it compatible !!!! he explained how the controllers in cab work with the joysticks and i have all these options so i don't understand how it can't work ???

I think using the audio as a voice over, and actually showing it work would have been a much better video.
