There is a reason why you saw “Beethoven dogs”. They are actually called Saint Bernhard dogs and originate from Switzerland. When the first Swiss settlers came to Bariloche they brought these dogs with them.
9:12 That dog breed was used and continues to be used to rescue lost people in the snow, that dog in his collar carries a small barrel with wishky or something like that to give some heat to the stranded person, I think the Germans or the Swiss do it too and they took that culture to argentina bariloche, bariloche have a strong german-swiss influence
