I’d like to see if these blocks are specifically targeting ps4 controllers or if they will block the new Ps5 Hori Fighting Alpha Stick as well. Seems like it’s the same thing happening as with the ps3 to ps4 transition. Some games work but more don’t overtime. Economically it’d be better to switch to pc gaming since you wouldn’t need to worry about upgrading your controller till it breaks and unsalvageable. And even with an older controller you can find a way to make it work with newer games
Nice video! With the announcement via the Playstation Twitter about the official PS5 Hori stick, do you suspect this may change in the future? I really hope it doesn’t… the Xbox version of that stick has some design choices I really don’t like
I do wonder if the PS5/4 FS Alpha will be unique or will be like the others if that’s what you are wondering. I do hope for a true Real Arcade Pro successor however.
I got Hori Real Arcade Pro N Hayabusa Flight Stick from boxing day sale recently and it had compatible with PS5 white sticker on it. So I am assuming fighting game devs pretty much have to make it work on ps5 since it's officially licensed controller.
@@Warlock-6127 That game is a PS4 executable. I don't have it but I have the stick and it works on my other PS4 games just fine on the PS5. I don't think Soulcalibur VI should be any different. Maybe your stick is on PS3 mode?
hey I am curious about the hori alpha compatibility with other ps5 games elden ring arcade stick run? seriously I would like to see a video on the compatibility
With a Mayflash F300 or or F500 and the Magic S Pro adapter it is possible to use any input device compatible with the Magic S Pro. Assuming it doesn't have Specialty Controller disabled in the game. Hopefully Mayflash or Brook figures out how to implement this with just one of the adapters
Great video and overview! I really hope you're channel grows.
Awesome vid! Thanks for taking the time to do this!
Thanks for the video after a long time

Where did you find the announcement of the ps5 hori stick? Could you post a link?

I think devs don’t really need to do anything since the games that blacklist the sticks and other controllers seem to be more opt-in.
I have this stick and I confirm it doesn't work on PS5 for Soul Calibur VI.
Big Sad...

@@ThePhantomnaut Nah it was definitely on PS4 mode when I checked my configurations. Maybe you have to plug the USB in the back of the PS5?
@@Warlock-6127 Front ports should be fine. I might just nab a copy for cheap tonight just to check it out.
After hours of looking into this Im still not clear..... What sticks can i buy TODAY that will work for native PS5 versions of fighting games ????
If you wanted a stick TODAY, ps4 licensed sticks will work. The first ps5 proper stick, the Hori Fighting Stick Alpha, is coming out next month
Thank you for the video!
The hori octa ps5 controller just came out you should review it. I’d like your opinion on it and if you could be able to from a ps5 game to a ps4 one.
Will obsidian qanba work in ps5 exclusive game Tekken 8?
Very informative video thank you

Does anyone know if the powera fusion fightpad works on native ps5 games?
do bluetooth adapters influence the test results or is it universal with any adapter?
Yeah I’m so happy as a causal old man to have to buy multiple 300 dollar sticks lol. What in the fuck.
Awful.
