bro... didn't even know about these firmware updates...just updated my drone..your channel is a god send... the drone is a godlike stick according to this testing based on modability/price and your testing results
sorry but how exactly is the stick board connected to the arduino and hostshield? it looks like you measure the lag from button press without the stick's board?
Anyone know what the firmware differences (v1.18 vs v1.19) are for the qanba obsidian. I can't find any patch notes. And is there a page I can check for updates in the future?
yes, there is a page but it is in Chinese. So far the latest firmware for obsidian is V2.3. If u still need it reply me here and i will give you the official link.
I know this is an old video, but do you have any input lag results for Brook UFB Fusion? I'll be using it on PC primarily and sometimes on PS5 for SF6 locals. I appreciate all your work.
So I'm trying to update my firmware but only thing is I can't get the application to detect my drone... Idk if it's because I'm using a laptop? But even then my laptop is able to detect my drone
I'm confused. You suggest people stick to PS4 mode, but PC overclocked has significantly better latency results on the Dragon. Half of the overclocked PS4 results. What's interesting is how the Obsidian is worse in PC overclocked mode than PS4 overclocked mode.
@The Phantomnaut So, would the Qanba Obsidian in PS4 mode on a PC have lower average latency than in PC mode on a PC? Also, for Qanba Obsidian, it appears from your graphics that the difference between PS4 average latency (3.7ms) and PC average latency (6.5ms) is a mere 2.8 milliseconds (that's ~1/357th of a second) Noone moves at that speed. No practical difference. Moreover, there may be no significant numerical difference either. Min and max latency scores are nice, but do you have error terms for your data? What's the standard deviation of your measurements? Overall, interesting observations, but without distribution information, how do we know there is any significant difference in the different modes? Edit: oh you posted your results in spreadsheets. Very nice. I'll run the calcs.
@@ThePhantomnaut brook wireless is better than brook ps3 ps4 ?? I wonder why brook ps3 ps4 has positive and negative lag, and wireless does not have that, ?? I mention that brook ps3 ps4 positively reaches a maximum of 3.2 lag, and negatively reaches 4.3 ... or what is your point of view on these two pcb?
Amazing work as always!

Very informative video man. Great work!

This comment is to feed the youtube algorithm, also I am surprised on how the qanba dragon pc overclocked mode has a low latency,
How did you overclock?
What is overclock mode and how to activate it?
Great video
Just fyi, latest firmware is V2.3. I am wondering if you could do another checking? Thanks.
amazing stuff keep it up !
Respect on the Wu Fei Stage remix.

Bro, how do you overclock those sticks ?
where can we find the latest firmware and how to install it please?

great video!!! thanks for the work... I'm about to buy a Qanba Obsidian or the Crystal!!! which one do you recommend? Thank you
Do yo get the cristal ?? in 2024 is out of stock 😑
@@El_Brujo_Rey_de_Angmar thanks compré el Qanba Cristal

How do you overclock?
how do you overclock on ps4? do you overclock it for PS4, or do you overclock it for pc on PS4 mode?
Is the firmware update 1.19 for the obisidian with socd?
I can confirm it has the standard L+R=N and U+D=U SOCD just like 1.18. No idea what the changes were for 1.18->1.19 though.

Were you able to determine if PS4 mode or PC mode is better when connected to a PC? Assuming you overclock the controller to poll at 1000hz.
How can i do overclock on ps4??
hi, Anyone know how to reset the firmware?
Trying to decide if the drone is worth the money. One of craigslist right now for $40 but if its laggy junk I dont want it...
Well you can update the firmware on the Drone...
I think the firmware is only for the obsidian right
No. The Firmware Pack includes all PS4 Qanba sticks models.
@@ThePhantomnaut Really!? Cool, thanks

to all the idiots asking how do you overclock on console, YOU CANT! ONLY ON PC!
