This is very helpful :) I'm in year 10 and interested in architecture this helped me see the type of things I would have to do if I choose to pursue architecture.

Thanks for sharing your experience ❤️ it's really helpful But can u talk more about the financial side if u were able to get a scholarship also ur ALevels getting stars is greatttt! Did u finish all 5 subjects in the same year or u split them between gr 11 and 12?
No problem! I'm not sure what you mean on the financial side, but sadly I could not find any scholarships that matched my profile :// and yes I did all 5 subjects throughout year 12 & 13!
Youre welcome and thank you for watching xxx I actually did a quite sciency one (almost chemistry related) on developing sanitary pads for women in developing countries. I did a whole load of testing in a lab with creating biodegradable plastic and writing a 6000 word scientific write up.
Hello I am planning to apply to UCL architecture but I do not have a design portfolio and do not take subjects that let me create one. I was wondering what I could do for my design portfolio?
Hi Danielle, thanks for watching! You will just have to make your own portfolio on the side and put lots of effort into it because Bartlett values that part a lot.
hi!! i was wondering if u have any recommendations on extracurricular content to read up on / things you did to help boost your understanding of architecture and for personal statement content? i'm currently in year 11, but I'd love to see what I can start working on next summer and in the coming months ^_^
You can research some architecture books online that fits your interest: design, history. Find some internships/activities that could potentially be related to architecture!
Hey I just applied and Cardiff hasn’t given me any directions or information about the portfolio, unlike sheffield and UCL. Do you remember what guidelines they had if they did?
I really need help here, I’m currently an A2 student and I am meant to be going to uni next year. I really don’t know what I want to do in university but architecture was one of the things that I thought of, my grades add up to the entry requirements of the university I intend to go to but I really don’t know if it’s what I truly would like to do because of the fact I’ve never had experience in this because you don’t get that gcse or a level option and it’s only available at university. I do have an A level in Art and Graphic Design which backs up the practical side but I genuinely don’t know what comes with this course, please help me out I would really appreciate this💕
PLS HELP ME i take maths further maths physics and cs but recentely i made a last minute decision to take architecture cuz ive always loved designing and drawing (i can link my artstation) BUT IDK WHAT TO DO FOR EXTRACURRICULARS OR PROJECTS and im applying later this year 😞😞
Hey!! That's okay! You just need to put focus on your architecture portfolio is what I would say. Or if art is not your strong suit, you can look into applying for University of Bath. You can also check out my Ebook here which may help: www.glorykukarchitecture.com/product-page/a-guide-for-applying-to-architecture
Hey Zainab! Nice to see you here again hahaha - I thought I would reply here anyways! It is now up on my website! www.glorykukarchitecture.com/product-page/a-guide-for-applying-to-architecture
Hey! I have some mutual friends studying there and they seem to quite like it! Overall the difference is that it is not a university, and they only do pass/fail instead of grades! Definitely good to do some research on it to see if you like it! :)
