- According to tradition, the Wilmington & Western Railroad would once again operate the "Easter Bunny Express" along the scenic and historic former Landenburg Branch. Fired up to power these trips if none other than #58, a Baldwin Locomotive Works 0-6-0 sporting the melodious tone of a Richard Carter Crosby 3 chime. Hauling countless passengers along the traditional trek from Greenbank Station to Ashland, DE, the locomotive puts on a fantastic display of steam and sound as the train navigates iron bridges, sweeping curves, and the thick forests of Northern Delaware. Featuring trackside and exclusive in-cab views of these trips, we document the locomotive's journey as springtime begins in 2023. Please sit back and enjoy this film "Springtime Along The Red Clay Creek" by Keystone Rail Productions!
History of #58:
Wilmington & Western 58 is a product of the Baldwin Locomotive Works, being built in 1907. She was used in service as a steam switcher for the Atlanta, Birmingham & Coast and was numbered as 27. After exchanges with various owners and railroads, including the U.S. Army, she returned to service on the W&W dedicated as "The Veteran's Engine" on May 23, 1999, even touting an American flag on the cab. After a 1,472 day inspection in 2017, she returned to service once again and is seen reliably serving the railroad to this day.

Some of these steam engines will act like Cass Scenic Railroad
Sounds like MRSR 5
Quick question: what whistle was on 58 when this video was taken?
It is a Crosby 6" 3 chime that was once owned and retuned by Richard Carter when he was an Engineer at Cass.
He achieved this by pouring lead into some of the chambers to acquire a higher pitch.
