Bro this is actually pretty sick, he went from being not confident in his driving, to blowing up a motor, and then to winning a pro 1 drift battle.

The other diver was the reason, not LZ. still a win is a win, so what does it matter. Just don't go thinking LZ is better than everyone else like I know some of his "Younger" fans will be thinking and saying!
TheShubbah gushi didn’t just make some dumb mistake. adam clearly outdrove him. adam had more angle and more wheel speed than gushi on both runs. that was especially true on adam’s lead run where gushi only made a mistake because he was trying to catch up to and match adam’s driving.

I said a win is a win, but I can forsee his younger fans, not the fans like myself and others over the age of 12, understanding this win wasn't due to Adam being a better driver, and that's just the honest truth.. Been watching Adam Lz since I was about 13 years old (going on 20 now). Met him a few times at new town skatepark, showed me and my buddy how to 360 out of the bowl and did a truck driver and a 180 tail whip on my old bike. Seeing how far Adam has come in his life just gives me the goosebumps. One of the coolest, most humble guys you’ll ever meet. Super proud of Adam and everything that he has accomplished over these years, and I’m thrilled to have the pleasure of meeting him on those few occasions. I don’t ever plan on stopping the support, he deserves it all. Cheers Adam, keep up it we’re all so proud of you

You won't because Ken follows you way to fast off the bank. Yes, Ken was all 4 out, at the end of the Nascar corner, but you demolished the clipping cone coming off. Even though you got the win, your chase was trash, and your lead was trash. Style points don't win here drift Pastrana. That's who you are. Yet you'll never do first or golds like Pastrana did.
They need to give Adam more credit. For just entering Pro 1, he's upsetting alot of pros.

@@enzorichon9956 yeah, i think LZ did a fantastic job on all of his runs but because he was shallow he didn't get it. I personally think it should of been done again but some of the drivers there ahead a close battle and didn't so ya win some and loose some.

Ive been watching since I was in middle school. I’m now a senior and it’s awesome seeing your growth as a drifter. One of my favorite moments was when you went from doing a 115mph drift entry in the cream S13 to doing 120 mph entry in the S15, and now winning a pro series battle. Great work!

I can understand the thought process behind going too shallow is worse then too wide.
But the way id judge it is just ”Huge mistake vs huge mistake” at the same part of the track.

The impression ive gotten from Essa the past few years is that he is good, but extremely inconcistent when he’s under pressure.
Not saying Adam wouldve won easy, but he def earned a OMT.

@@fourthpanda Definatly possible. We have a drift event in Sweden that has timed laps with clipping points that lights up if you hit and gives extra time if You miss.
Easy for uninitiated spectators to understand and get in to, wich is extremely important if you want the sport to grow.
That event has 7-10k spectators every year, in a city wich the closest drift/racing track is 3hours away. And sweden has a veeeery small drifting scene.
I see all of the efforts your team is making to make sure you are the most comfortable in your car and you are more than deserving of that battle win and many more. Been here since 2012 and I look forward to many more years watching your success! Congrats Adam 🤙🏽

I’ve been watching since the bmx days. Adams how to’s taught me so many tricks and made my days at my local that much more fun. I recently bought a 300zx and these videos are making me excited to slap a hydro on it and take it to the track! So proud of Adam and how far he’s gotten. Heres to more wins to come!

A lot of people don't realize that in motorsports your first season in a new class is purely a learning experience... Your getting the hang of it man and with the progression of this season I could see u becoming a future force to be reckoned with
Guys like to hate on adam.
Agreed; however, he was robbed. Fans of the sport invest in the battle. That said both drivers had fault runs, but Adam looked like the veteran both chase and follow. Should've been an OMT. We have to be mindful the fact that there are a ton of people/professionals in the sport who feel he shouldn't be there, and don't want him there due to the fact Adam can afford to compete; but more importantly, he's a driver/wheel ace.

Yea when you look at his battles, everyone hes raced has YEARS of pro 1 competition under their belt.Hell forsberg has almost as much experience drifting as LZ has been alive but atleast he can say hes only lost to Formula D champions lol

I think the whole mindset of Adam and the team is awesome und I love watching those videos and even more seeing all the hard work pay off. From an unbiased and clueless point of view (never watched drifting competition besides the ones on this channel) I think seeing the level of professionalism in this rookie newcomer team is awesome.

@Unknown average turnaround is 2/3 days on 90% of channels if not longer on the likes of savage garage ect who also have there own dedicated editing team

So cool that you showed the flat spotted front tire.. it looked sick having even the front right smoke as much as the rear ones, you could really see from the outside that you were pushing that s chassis as hard as possible. Both had mistakes in their lead run in round of 16, but Essa’s was definitely bigger and he couldn’t recover to the same angle. Still think LZ should have taken that one 🤷♂️

What was the robbery lmfao. LZ dropped his line with two fronts off and made several adjustments zone1. Essa dropped 2 rear but was fluid through the motion. at MOST, it should've been OMT but if it was nitpicking, Essa edged out and the Judges agrees. It's obvious you don't watch FD

I've been watching FD for 12 years, and I'm starting to notice the judging calls are getting worse by the year, especially in the last 2 years. That should have been an OMT. They just don't respect Adam yet.
i support the loss but also think it was close enough to cal it a OMT. At least they gave a full explanation on why they lost, helped alot.
what i see is they just pick who they like cuz as if u watched finals today Jr and JPC had shit ton of chances to run fix and battle - kinda peak that they didnt gave Adam the chance to show Essa the hell, but then again - i think that Adam should of win cuz Essas runs looked like trash to me

He only got to where he is because he can afford his own team, not because he's super talented. I'm not hating on him, I like him a lot and I love the content he produces, but he's no drift champion.

It might get overwhelming sometimes but you've gotta remember some of the guys you're running against have been drifting for two sometimes almost three times as long as you. Yet you're still almost at their level. Keep slayin them tyres.

I remember back in the old lz videos when you where so hyped to be able to ride in the passanger seat of a drift bmw with 500 hp and thought it was crazy fast. Now you drift in a high tournament with a s15 wide body eith over 1000 hp going pro. Im so proud of you lz

Forget the hate man! You're doing so well considering how little experience you have within FD. Once you have another year or two under your belt; you'll know how to set the car up better and have a better feel for the other drivers. You have come so far since i first met you on your first trip to Australia dude! Your driving now compared to then is honestly unbelievable, as long as you keep yourself motivated you will continue to find new heights! This is a dream for many people and few ever have the skill and the means required to achieve it and will try to tear you down, dont listen to them! Keep up the good work!

Even though the judges say that going rear tires off is better than front tires off, I think Adam should've won since overall I think he had a more consistent chase. When Essa messed up he couldn't recover and get close until the inside clip whereas Adam caught up before/on outside zone 2.
And then the judges have the audacity to say that Adam modulated throttle too much in the first bank just because Essa flew in wayyy too fast after getting gapped by a bus in the beginning.
I remember growing up watching your BMX vids and when you bought your dream bmw with the red interior to in to formula drifting winning against world competitors. Been A1 since day 1 congrats dude you made it 💯❤️much love
